I came in to upgrade my iPhone and the entire experience felt like being at a car dealership where the salesman is constantly trying to upsell you with a more expensive monthly payment for confusing and convoluted value adds. And when I asked for clarification, the salesman acted like I was the idiot for not understanding. They seem to have forgotten that every time a customer walks through the doors, it's a golden opportunity to wow the customer with excellent service. Instead, it felt like they didn't have time for me and if I didn't appreciate the opportunity to spend my money with them, I wasn't worth their time. Here's the biggest kicker, they now charge $30 to help you activate your new phone and transfer your old phone to the new one. Wow, they used to do it for free. read more

Came here last month with the billing issue our representative was DJ, he is very helpful took care of the problem and fix it. Today came in the same issue and spoke with another representative but unable to fix the problem, then DJ came and manage to fix the problem, talking with the costumer service on the phone for us, he is with us until everything cleared and fix and making sure everything went ok. After a less than stellar experience with customer service via the chat option, I came here with high hopes that I could upgrade my old iPhone. I worked with Matthew who was extremely helpful and friendly. As I had already done most of the research, I wasted no time in explaining exactly what I needed and if they could honor the promos on my account. Matthew was able to get the promo I wanted and had the phone in stock as well. He also assured that if there were any issues then the notes would remain on my file so my trade-in value would not have any possible hiccups. I am a very independent shopper and prefer to do most of it online via self-help options, however, nothing truly beats the quality of service you receive in person. I have also been to the Verizon stores at Oak Creek and The District and received quite polarizing experiences. NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED BUT here goes. Scheduled via online for an appointment because that was the only allowed option for this store. It was set for 2PM on a Sunday and requiring all my family members on my family plan to attend. And behold, 2PM Sunday on the dot, I found myself with other family members looking at a store that was completely closed for the day. Another party had a 2:15 PM appointment and was also shocked. Then a 2:30 PM and after appointments approached and was left with no choice but to leave. It was very difficult to arrange everyone to come at our confirmed appointment. An confirmation email, an confirmation text, and confirmation appointment via Verizon app and yet NO VERIZON REP CALLED TO ADVICE STORE WAS CLOSED? Even if the store was scheduled to close, why did your intuitive app allow Verizon customers to schedule an appointment? Very dissappointing. read more

Just ordered 5g internet service and it has been the most frustrating experience ever. I've had cox cable for 15 years and switched to Verizon because it's half the price. Well... I know why now. You get service half the time... Save yourself money, time headaches and stick with cox cable. You will end up spending 45 minutes to an hour plus over the phone with a cox rep only to end up having to put a paper clip into ur modem while they need to witness this on video through the Verizon app. Think about this, they want u to hold your phone camerA while you insert a paper clip into their device... what century are we in? Pay the $ at cox and save urself from this BS. Frankly their mobile service sucks as well. Fix your face verizon! read more

I have been to this store and with Verizon for over 20 years. My phone was getting an SOS signal at home in North Tustin. I did everything I could imagine, rebooting, updating the system, calling, and going into the store. The first time I walked in it took an hour to be seen and they apparently "electronically changed my stem-card". I came home and it still did not work. I came back to the store a second time and waited 45 minutes to be seen. I explained my situation again. This time a different person and they looked at my settings. My phone was getting calls but not at home. I called my carrier of AT&T which worked with Verizon to make sure it was not my WiFi at home and it was not. I headed back to the store and they said that it must be the phone and they would order a new phone for me to arrive the next day and then we would have to transfer and clean the phone. I explained to them I really needed a working phone because my sister was in the hospital and in critical condition which was the god's honest truth!!! I was getting half my texts but could not receive a call or call out from my house. Then, I got a text saying my sister wanted to FACETIME with me to say goodbye. I borrowed my roommates phone and we face-timed. He is on the same plan and has the same phone # as I had. The next day I took work off and waited for my phone to arrive. I kept waiting and was told if it did not get delivered in the morning it would get delivered around 4 p.m. It did not arrive and now I'm stressed about communication with my family and my sister. I went to the store and they said that I shouldn't have been told I would get it the next day. I explained to the "store manager" RON, how imperative it was I had the ability to get calls and he added another line and programmed a phone for me to use over night. Finally, the next day the phone arrives and a guy named Aaron helps me and was very helpful at transferring all the information. I get home and finally see my texts on the new phone and find out my sister had passed at 4:23 a.m. I finally have my phone working after five days. No compensation and I'm still supposed to pay for the FIVE days I never could get a call or make a call!!! Pretty frustrating under any circumstance yet alone in this critical situation. Because I just want to move on, I am happy to finally have a phone to communicate with my family. Aaron was very helpful but had to leave me before my phone was cleaned and so I was turned over to Bryan to complete transactions. Bryan acted as if he had no time for my problem and was busy working on his laptop. Two days later, my phone bill arrives and I find all kinds of incurred charges on my phone for the phone not working and them having to transfer my phone to my new replacement. I go to the store to inquire and of course have to wait and put my name on their check-in list despite having spent the last week there daily for a problem I did not create. When I show the new site manager, Ben, the issue he says will can't do anything about it and needs to discuss this with RON the manager who gave me the replacement phone. He says he will call me the next day. The next day comes and I keep waiting. I stop at the store, which is another 20 minute drive, put my name in the skew, wait again because you can't make an appointment on line with this "busy" store and then I'm told Ben is not in the store and will not be until 1:30. I go to my appointments and stop back at 2:00 p.m. expecting both BEN and Ron to be working together as I was told. BEN has not talked to Ron and I'm told by an associate that Ben is in a meeting and will give me a call. BEN NEVER GIVES ME A CALL AS HE TWICE PROMISED and so I come back to the store to resolve the problem I've now had for a 10th day with added expenses to my bill. I see RON and he says BEN was supposed to call me. He is miffed I never was called by his superior and gives me a $50 credit to resolve the additional $47 I was charged. Nothing is compensated for the days without service, the eight days and ongoing trips I had to make to the store. BEN says Ron is supposed to issue me another credit but at this point, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in that store and there is nothing but miscommunication. As I stood there I heard other customers complaining about their bills and "tag-ons" that were incorrect. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THE LAST 10 DAYS WERE HORRIFIC WITH VERIZON. I worked in customer service with Nordstrom and Hyatt and would have been fired had I worked like these managers. The person who should be running this store is AARON!!! He was the only decent man in the whole place. The others acted as if they were TOLERATING being in front of me. I have never had this kind of experience before with Verizon and would not expect such low class attitudes in the city of Irvine or Tustin. If you go to this store, be forewarned!!! Terrible service by the manager as a Veteran and a business account. He was short and had me kept asking as like begging for $59 refund he promised. Over 5 times. When we spoke about the device that didn't work for business the manager was short and didn't care that it wasn't able to work. Richie (the business rep), wouldn't even call me back for 5 new lines with devices this week. Richie texted me he was busy with a customer a few times. I get that the business reps get paid from commission and new lines with devices are a big part of Their business. I'm sure Richie's division manager would want 5 new lines with 5 new phones for their division. If he was too busy then refer it to another business rep. Richie was Too busy as always a few days ago per his text. Always this store is dismissive with my experience. I would go to The Jamboree Verizon Store by Whole Foods and Costco. This store isn't one I coulld ever visit again. Maybe their bad service did me a favor. Verizon just announced a big Black Friday promotion. There's no zero stars on here? Was with Verizon for 24 years. Wife was getting a phone number returned to us from her employer, so we added a new line with a promotion offer trading in an old phone. In the end they wouldn't transfer her old number to the new line/phone, so instead we're stuck with a line with no phone. Had to return the new phone, close the new line, loose the credit, and they didn't return our old phone. How's that for customer service? I used to like Verizon, but this is the worst thing that could happen to an old customer. If you have an old number you're trying to keep, definitely watch out for these kinds of account shenanigans. read more

Came here with my bf to get him to switch to Verizon- he had been with an inferior service way too long, and I was tired of him not getting my text messages when he was in a "bad service" zone (according to his prior carrier). There was definitely a bit of a wait but at least they have plenty of seating. Scott was super helpful, knowledgeable, and helped us switch carriers quickly. Honestly we probably spent just as much time waiting as we did actually getting his phone set up. But overall a good experience! As a side note, Scott and the other employees were very gracious because another customer seemed to think it was cute (PSA: your child misbehaving in public is cute to absolutely no one) to let her child run around hitting people- both employees and customers. If I could I would leave 0 stars. I came in around 7pm, and the representative that helped me was very rude, condescending, inpatient, and very unprofessional. I came in to get help returning a phone, along with setting up my new phone(s) and service, however I left returning the phone only, because he was almost yelling at me, very short with me and had a lot of attitude. None of the Verizon associates that I can across today, from Asurion, to the Verizon in Victra Irvine that referred me to this Verizon for the return, helped me set up my new accounts. The associate humiliated me in front of everyone when I was trying to explain to him about Asurion, he said insurance? I said no, the agents that come to your house to deliver your phone and set them up for you, he said I'm only trying to get the phone you want to be returned, returned that's a whole separate issue. So of course I have to come back today because I need my 2 new phones set up, since he did not want to help me. I have a phone that I cannot log into my Verizon account, because it still has not been set up. Terrible customer service Verizon, he just wanted to push me out the store and not help me, and I did call him rude, and he replies, "excuse me!" Very unprofessional!!! Also I want to add that because the Asurion agent started setting up the phones when I was not home only my kids were, now I have to pay a $50 restocking fee, so I only get $27 back of set up fees and taxes I paid for a phone I was trying to return in the first place. I'm extremely pissed to find out that these people pressured my mom yesterday to buy additional accessories and tried to upsell her on basically anything they could possibly get their hands on. They were incredibly aggressive with her and wouldn't even let her choose her own phone number. She asked "can I see what other numbers there are?" and the taller of the two guys said NO. Scum of the earth aggressive people who think they can upsell an older Asian lady for a $69 phone case when the husband is out. Terrible service. I worked at AT&T before and all of the sales tactics they used on my mom were unacceptable. Kept pushing her to refer other customers. I know how much commission you'll make off of that. Too bad, not happening. Hate this place, bullying my mother. Shame on you guys, making sales look terrible. Don't you know that sales is about caring for your customers and finding their needs? I have always felt bad to leave a bad review no matter how bad my experience was because I always try to look from the business side of things and I try to give the business a little slack. This however will be my first ever review and too bad it had to be a bad one. This location really needs to close down. Stopped by after work at 5:55 PM to do an upgrade on my phone. They put me on the wait list and said I was third in line. Then I got a text saying they would text me when it was close to my turn. 6:25 I got a text I would be next and that to come back to the store since it would be another 10 mins. I've been waiting in the store the entire time and can hear and see everything that occurs in the store. 6:30 a couple walks in and is greeted by the person in the front (I witnessed his fellow employees leaving the store and congratulating him and hear him say that this was his location now, so I'm assuming he's the manager). The couple told him they had an appointment with an agent at 6:30. That person told the couple that the agent just left for the day. Their exact response, "what a nightmare experience". No apologies, nothing from the manager. Instead he tells them he will put them on the waiting list. What a shit show. 6:45 I asked one of the workers if it's going to take much longer because I have to go somewhere. He tells me he doesn't know. 7:05 a customer comes to the store and bought something and the manager helps her and rings her up. At that point I went to him and asked if I could just buy a phone from him. His response was "who was helping you?". I told him no one because I've been waiting an hour now. He said then I would have to wait for my turn. I've been a Verizon customer for over 15 years now and every time I come here it's a shit show like this. No one takes pride of their job. They are incredibly inefficient. It's a shame but it shows in their stock price. For something to get this bad everyone is at fault. From the store clerks to the CEO. Seriously, they look like they are just punching in their time clocks and waiting to get paid. Needless to say, I left at 7:15 without being helped but just fed up with them. This place appalling and not representative of the Verizon service we are used to,me and my wife went to this place because corporate costumer service sent me there to present proof of our agreement with Verizon for new phone credit, as soon I started explaining, the first employee ( latin with color hair), interupted that thry dudnt need the firm i brought and was very rude and not interested in helping me with the form corporate needed. The customer service agents in this location do not like their job and don't have basic customer service skills...I am not sure if basic training was provided or how performance reviews are managed in this location! Verizon, please provide them with basic customer service training. I mean it! Basic training. I have never met customer service agents giving you such negative vibes when you step into the location. It is like pulling teeth to get an answer from them. This happened over three visits, not only one with three different agents. I have witnessed some rude interactions with others that led to them leaving the location. I agree with all the one-star reviews I read here so far without repeating what they said. They don't listen; they interrupt, give you bad looks, and at a point, I felt that they want to fight!!! It is terrible.
