I had wonderful service from customer service support to technical support . After about a week of glitchy internet because I have a very old modem and router , I had not replaced since 2020 , George was so kind and sent me Cesar in no time who arrived within a couple of days . I am mildy disabled but the process was still fun and easy peasy ! You can easily track the status for when your technician will arrive . And I got credit for the days of service missed . Thank you so much Spectrum , especially George and Cesar , and I forgot the nice girl too who gave me the promotion this year she was fantastic too . So far I am very happy with the speed ! This is the worst company I have ever done business with. They abuse the elderly with their promotions and schemes you try to cancel and they hang up on you before you can. I have tried talking with them three times and they still hang up so I can't cancel and then they bill me again. Please people do not do business with this company. Updated review, 12/20/2025. I decided to end my 15 year relationship with Verizon (due to exorbitant cost) and take a chance with Spectrum. I made an appointment for 4:30 PM but dropped in at 1:30 because I had time. Before I can even type my name on the check-in tablet, THREE agents approached me asking me what I need help with. THREE! The agent who helped me was Suzy. She was knowledgeable, a good listener and she gave me the confidence that she will be able to take care of my change over. She brought over the store manager, Tony, to finish the transaction when she had to take her lunch. "Please don't hesitate to come back if there's any issue. Thank you for your business." as she left. The switch over got completed smoothly including the back up of the phones. Sure enough, I had a minor issue with a phone so I stopped by on 12/27/25. Again, before I can even finish typing my name, the store's assistant manager , Julian, was already in front of me asking me what I needed help with. Suzy was there so we sat down on the store's couch and chatted about Christmas and family while she fixed my phone's issue. Done. 12/29/25, I came back to finalize some financial details with Tony and it was then that I found out the big change of "culture" at this store compare to my horrible experience in 2022. Tony told me that he became the store manager a year ago and proceeded to turn it around with the new hires. He instilled a culture of customers first and it shows. I could've gotten my issues worked out with tech support and billings but I chose to visit the store and have a "human" relationship. It worked. If you are in the market for internet, mobile or TV service or decide to do business with Spectrum and are close enough to this store, I recommend that you pay them a visit and decide for yourself. read more

I canceled the cable service and kept internet however I was told that if I paid the prorated days I could have cable for a couple of more weeks. FALSE! I found out that California does not allow prorating. Two weeks went by and I got a bill for the whole month, not for two weeks but for the whole month. I was lied to! I made a couple of calls and they told me that there was nothing they could do and that I had to put up and shut up, basically. Do not come to this store with high expectations on customer service. The associate helping us - Joseph was very rude to my mom when she asked a simple question about the modem we were getting. Apparently the proper response to a customer is , "How would I know that?". She isn't very tech savvy and had been struggling all day with tech support. I had spectrum years ago and I dumped them because of constant equipment malfunctions and piss poor customer service. Also, the lineup of television programs at the bottom end of what they offer is totally atrocious. They were constantly dropping English speaking channels that were half decent and adding multi linguistic programming, all of which I could not understand (Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, Armenian and so on). I got about 15 channels out of 500 that were somewhat watchable. I recently dropped Frontier because at Thanksgiving all of our equipment died. Contacted them, and was told it would take a week to come by and fix. Not a good answer. So, I switched to spectrum, again, hoping they would have become a much better service. I wasn't surprised when equipment again began to malfunction and customer service had no clue what to do or say. Took the malfunctioning equipment back and had it replaced, but we're still having problems. For $150 a month, getting internet, phone and tv, you'd think spectrum would be a much better provider with all new wifi equipment and them boasting how good their customer services are in commercials on tv. But alas, they really never improved, except on how to baffle you with bullsh*t when problems arise. And what gets my goat is that after a year, they'll raise your rate and still offer crappy service and programming. Totally not happy with that. Looks like I'll be switching again. The problem with that as I see it, is that pretty much every company offering combined packages have the same crap to offer. They all have us over a barrel screwing us out of hard earned money for BS services. It's all a total joke on us, getting something intangible for a high price that doesn't live up to its hype. These people are out of control and need to be reined in. But don't count on it getting better any time soon - I wouldn't count on congress to act on our behalf because right now all they want to do is bitch, point fingers, create chaos, commit crimes, pay themselves exorbitantly, steal, cram religion down your neck, and overthrow the constitution. I disconnected my service on 12/19. My billing cycle ended less then a week before my disconnect and they want to charge me whole month instead of 4-5 days of service I used. They say that their policy is on the bill. I have paperless bill and I never read the file print and the person I talked to did not tell me at the time of disconnect. So please be careful as they will get you on fine prints. Full disclosure I used to work for Spectrum so I don't like them anyway... But I stopped working there in 2020 and unfortunately I have been stuck with their service since then. You can tell a lot about a company by how will they treat their customers when they don't have any real competition . In my neighborhood the other option is AT&T. AT&T has great fiber, but it hasn't been built out where I live yet so my only choice is Spectrum The price they advertise is only an introductory rate. I now pay almost $100 a month for internet. - I don't have TV and I don't have a landline... That's just my Internet connection. If the Internet were fast, that wouldn't be too horrible... But I only get like 400 megs down and 20 that's TWENTY megs up... That's just a technological shortcoming of coaxial cable. There is no way you can get a decent upload speed. Since I am a gamer, I really need to have low latency which means ideally. I should have a symmetrical connection where the upload is as fast as the download like it is was fiber Internet from AT&T or Frontier... since Spectrum knows I can't get a decent fiber connection because I live in an older neighborhood they just keep increasing their prices and never increase the quality of their service. Here's a tip... When you move into a new place, there are typically going to be two main hardwired Internet connection options... One is Cable and the other one is the legacy phone company... Check to see if your phone company has fiber to your address, and if they do, that is absolutely the way you want to go... There are other options like getting Internet through your 5G mobile service, but that's typically only about 100 mbs , and it has a lot to do with line of sight so it is a risk... Go with fiber if it's available at your address... It can handle a lot more devices and a lot higher speeds and you don't have to deal with those jerks at Spectrum. right now companies like AT&T and Frontier are leading with a one gig offer... Symmetrical - meaning you get one gig up and one gig down... You may say to yourself "well I don't need all that speed... ".....Here's the thing.... You absolutely will in the future and much sooner than you think ! everything is becoming connected from your thermostat to your radio to your shopping to your gaming. If you look at your device manager, you've probably got 20 things connected to your Internet that you don't even know about and it's only going to get worse- blush Meta just rolled out a mixed reality headset... That's basically VR that you can use in real life... It's gonna change the entire world, but it uses a lot of bandwidth -if you go with fiber, you are future proofing your life. If you go with Cable, you will always be playing catch-up. read more

I made the switch, so should you. Spectrum was the only player in my community. They give you an ok rate for a year then raise prices on you while continuing to give new customers better deals. The service was mostly reliable as long as you constantly reset your router. Finally a competitor, Verizon 5G home. Now I have a super low rate (25 a month) and super reliable service. I expect the rate will adjust once this service is established. The internet has only gone out once in the 6 months or so we have had it and I rarely have to reset the router. Don't fall for their lies. Spectrum could have treated their existing customers well. I even called before switching to see if they could do anything about the bill and was told no. Spectrum is a legacy business that doesn't give a rats ass about their customers. I wish I had a referral link for you all. P.S. your Verizon router needs to be by a window for good signal is now available in all communities. However, there are other options also. read more

Location is so accessible,it's behind Raising Cane i guess and there are ample parking spots. I was surprised that a lady guard opened the door for us which was so nice and store manager FELIPE immediately came towards me to inquire the purpose of my visit then suggested options to do the business in store with waiting time or to proceed to UPS to return a box to avoid waiting in line. I opted to wait thus Felipe added my name in que. Waiting wasn't that bad as there were several reps to attend to clients. RICARDO attended to my box return and while processing the return,he was simultaneuously explaning Spectrum Cellphone services which appears to be tempting and reasonable. Ricardo was very attentive and patient to my queries. He's doing an amazing job and so with Felipe and thr lady guard who was also constantly disinfecting high touch areas. The wait may have been less if one of the employees wasn't on the phone for over 30 minutes helping not a customer in front of him, but someone calling in from the comfort of their home.
