Kids only interested in upselling or playing on their own devices, not in providing service and support to customers. Sales guy bragged about a 3 week trip to Italy for being top 1% sales guy after selling me a hotspot and warranty I don't need (didn't buy the protector screen) but when I asked a question immediately passed me to another associate who told me to go to iCloud . The new iPhone 7 plus they sold me broke within 2 months. 3 trips to the store and 2 trips to Apple Store later (lost all my stuff) I called in as they were trying to charge me for the dead returned phone due to find my iPhone. Guy put me through to the EMPLOYEE service number. And they only pick up if you select the sales option. If you absolutely must go with Verizon go to the store in the District, try one further away with better reviews. read more

I went in and right when I went in there was someone at the door love that but it seems he might either one know my account without even asking for a number or anything because all my questions without actually looking at my account . Praise, not criticism. We were very nervous about changing our phones (S23 for me and iPhone 13 for my husband), especially following our telephone purchases with outsourced reps who stuck to a script and made it very difficult to communicate and ask questions, but Lawrence took good care of us, transferred our data after activating our phones -- he made it a stress free experience and we were very happy and relieved. Although I paid for some needed accessories, my rep did NOT complete the order and my package was never shipped. I had to call customer service again and was on the phone for almost an hour resolving this issue. I was very agitated, and had to be at a very important medical appointment yesterday before noon, so when I tried to purchase the accessories and get on the road to the doctor, I asked for help even though I was not next in line. Nicholas, one of the managers, was annoyed with me, but was very polite and processed my purchases and installed the screen cover and camera covers. He really helped me and I have to give him a lot of credit. When/if you make an online appointment, I suggest you ask for either Lawrence or Nicholas. read more

Just like car buying, dealing with cell phone or cable service is not a pleasant experience. Needed to upgrade my phone and decide to transfer my AT &T line to the existing Verizon family plan that my family already had. Lawrence was awesome. He was efficient, knowledgeable and patient. He quoted me $300 trade in for my old phone. I would highly recommend you work with him. First night, I got the new phone and couldn't trade in my phone because I needed a full back up. He said "come back and I will finish up and get you the $300 trade in credit." A few days later I go back to the store. He is not there. Alex helped and quoted me $48 for my trade in. I was like I was told that it would be $300. He says " the promotion is over. To get the credit, you needed to buy iPhone 11, not XS. Let me talk to my manager. Since you were told that by mistake, I would have to talk to the manager. Blah, blah" " you would have to come back and see Lawrence and in order for him to honor the promotion, he would have to fill out paperwork" " I will let him know." "He will call you tomorrow " blah blah. I walked in today. Saw Lawrence and he is like "he is a $300 credit." All taken care of! I walked out happy. So, what the heck Alex talking about!!!! When I bought my phone (Abdullah) was super helpful and I was told within 2 weeks I'm able to come and exchange the phone or even return if I wish to do so. I came back 1 week later to just change the color of my iPhone and (Juan )whom is the manager was very rude and ignored me for the 1 hour and 30 minutes that I was here and was telling me I had to lose $750 for the exchange because the promotion was passed. So, I had to call the corporate and (James) from Arizona wanted to fix his mistake but Juan wasn't even agreeing to talk to him so James had to call the store and finally talked to him so he would do the exchange. This took 2 hours and easily could have been done in 15 minutes. If it wasn't for Abdullah and James I would have changed my carrier right away to the lack of customer service from Juan the store manager because he decided to waste my time for 2 hours.! read more

It's unfortunate that Verizon has lost me as a customer because of this store. April 9, I came in to ask for help with my iPhone 7, that seemed to be broken. Alex who was assisting me, confirmed that it was and proceeded to give me options to solve my problem, one of which is to add insurance to my plan - once there's an open enrollment opportunity and get a replacement phone for free, he told me that open enrollment is on the 18th of April just only a week a way, so that sounded great - awesome! However I still needed a phone before then, so what to do? He suggested that I get an Apple watch, instead of spending a $1000 on a new phone - get a watch that can receive calls for half as much...yes great, ah NO - it didn't work because guess what(?!!) the phone needed to work to get the cellular activated - and this was after 3 visits to the store both more than an hour of waiting and troubleshooting. My 3rd and last visit was the next day April 10, with the store manager (I forget her name) but she was the one that concluded that nothing could be done and this solution wouldn't work. So oh boy - what now?!! I returned the Apple watch - since i was NEVER in the market for one, and you would think that under these circumstances I would get refunded for all costs (adding a line, line access, device cost, etc...) - the store manager said, "No we would still have to charge you a restocking fee for the watch. The watch isn't broken and well we can't sell it in this state". As if completely forgetting that I wouldn't have bought it, if not for your employee Alex's suggestion and guarantee that this would work. You knew my phone was broken - that's why I came into the store?!! In effect laying blame on me to have trusted their advice?!!?! Then she added, "But we'll gladly help you upgrade to a new phone." At that point I walked out of the store and directly into a T-Mobile store (literally a few stalls down) and transferred services. To blame a customer for your mistakes - just unacceptable. I had a very negative experience with Jeffery "Solutions Manager" at Verizon Marketplace Irvine, CA. I had a talked to an online representative regarding an Iphone promotion. I went to this store thinking that the promotion would be honored. Boy was I wrong... Jeffery would not honor the price, instead tried to push a $10 credit to my account. I was very disappointed. I later called customer service and they honored the deal. Jeffery didn't even try... The staff here is very unprofessional and their service is very unsatisfactory. Our verizon account got hacked on the 12/31/2019, some one was able to port out our cell#, not sure how this could happened, we have spend hours on the phone with fraud dept, port dept, customer service, didn't get our 2nd temporary #, after all this was fraud, but we only get transfer back and forth with in the company, so frustrating we went to the store next day, thankfully Jason(solution mgr)helped us, but still took an hour to deal with verizon fraud dept to get our temporary # at store location, we really appreciated Jason's exceptional service, Thank You! The rep on the phone said I could go to any Verizon corporate store and they would be able to put on the screen protector for me. I did that. Went in to this store, associates were friendly and helped me right away. I also purchased a case for my phone, and associates also helped me put it on. I had a great experience here. read more

While all sales 4 sales people are helping other customers. 3 door greeters standing around. Had to wait like 45 minutes to be helped. Went in to verizon on a Friday, because my phone kept turning off every 5 minutes and wasn't receiving calls & messages. Needless to say, the first guy assigned to help me ended up freaking me out by telling me that I would possibly have to pay $300 minimum if I sent in my phone. Feared the fact that I would be stuck with a crappy (less than a year old) iPhone that wouldn't work- because I wasn't eligible yet for the edge program and my upgrade wasn't for over a year. Decided to go in one more time a couple days later and was helped out by a SAINT named Jeremy. This guy knew exactly how to help me and guaranteed a new phone would be at my house within a day and I wouldn't need to pay $300 (music to my ears). I walked away feeling like a weight was taken off my shoulders and like I actually received great customer service for once through verizon. Goes to show how far good training will take a salesperson. Jeremy knows his stuff and is confident in being able to help his customers. Make sure to ask for Jeremy if you want to actually be helped. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I went in yesterday to upgrade my phone as part of the Edge program. The Edge program allows me to trade in my old phone for a new upgraded phone even if the old phone has "normal wear and tear." My phone did not have one scratch on it. They looked at my phone for 2 seconds and claimed there were "dents" on my phone. I have been with verizon for 15 years and I pay way too much on my phone bill to receive this sort of treatment! What a joke!! What a scam!! I took my phone to the Go Wireless Verizon store off Irvine Blvd and they let me upgrade my phone no questions asked!! Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

I had the worse experience imangeable. I asked to be added to the list. And the person said I would need to plan to wait for 1 to 6 hrs. I thought it was rude so I asked to speak to a manager, Rudy. The Rudy did not want to be bothered. He said he's working with customers. I told him I would wait. I later asked how many people were ahead of me and was told that I was the next person. But Rudy told Me there were 8 people ahead. Then I watched the guy who checks in customer turn a senior over 80 years who just got a new phone from the store ask for help with her email and the guy said he could not help her that Verizon is not allowed to help her with her email. This was a super simple step that I helped the person myself. It was Black Friday but the Verizon guy had no customers waiting. Had no care in the world that the person drove all the way to the store to ask a super easy question. Then another customer came up to sign in and the customer asked how long the wait is. I told him the wait was 1 to 6 hrs. When I complained to the manger, in front of me, Rudy told the employee that he did nothing wrong and the mgr called security to escort me out because I complained to him. Security, like I was making a scene. I went to another store and the manager at the other store told me that there are constant complaints about this store. Atrocious. Been there a few times recently attempting to add a line for my son and update my plan yet a 15 min wait turned into a 40 min wait with no acknowledgement whatsoever. When I finally did talk to someone, they treat you as an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. After letting them know what I would like to do they told me No. They proceeded to offer me a more expensive option that did not suit my needs... I have opened up and added onto a family plan and bought 3 iPhones, an iPad and lots of accessories from this store. I always receive professional and friendly service. James (manager) and Fabian (solutions specialist) are the employees who have helped me buy new phones and hangs my plan. They are both very helpful and knowledgable about the services and products. I usually have a lot of questions and am picky about what I want. If they don't have it in the store James will find it at another store and make sure I get referred to a person who can help. I also have brought both my parents into the store who were getting an iPhone for the first time. Jimmy and Fabian were very patient and answered all the questions a first time smart phone user would have :) My parents were both impressed and even though they live in Costa Mesa they want to refer people to this Verizon store. I will keep coming back here because whenever I have an issue they explain it or fix it for me. I am a busy professional so knowing I will have someone to help me if I have an issue is invaluable. Can I give zero stars? Opened a business account at suggestion of employee. Made sense. More lines and same price. Business account was setup with two new devices but they couldn't get my consumer line transferred. Told to call tech support the following day. After several weeks of calling and attempting transfer I'm finally told that I have to wait 30 days from the upgrade to transfer the line. Here I am sitting in the store after 30 days and they once again put me on the phone with business support. Been on phone for over 2 hours now. Business tells me I have to put 20% down on new device to transfer. But Consumer account is trying say I have to pay the full amount just minutes after previously saying I only had to pay $333. Still well over the 20% that Business was asking for as a down payment on the device. All of this BS and literally hours of sitting on the phone over the last month because the original employee screwed up and upgraded my line prior to transferring my number. And now I can't even return the device because it's been over 30 days!!! Verizon Business has been more than accommodating but Consumer accounts and this store sucks So after receiving quick feedback to email Verizon customer service I have heard crickets. No call backs. No returned emails. NOTHING!! I'm fed up with their complete incompetence!! read more

Dealing with this store is like doing business with an unethical used car salesman. The salesman has to get the manager to quote a price on the combination deal! Nothing is written down. They include insurance but nobody knows what the deductibles are (they are huge). The "best" deal requires you to buy things you don't need but they say that if you don't buy them the total cost goes up. Of course, this "deal" is not written down anywhere. It seems to be the manager's job to decide how big a sucker you are and what you will fall for. There must be an ethical Verizon store somewhere where insurance deductibles, combination offers, and family discounts, are posted. read more

Not doubting their bad experience, I do want to share our good experience at this location. Been here a few times in the past and have always been pretty happy going in and out. My most recent experience from a week ago was no exception. The store seemed very busy during lunch hour. Greeted promptly at the door by a "triage" lady. Within minutes, an adviser became available and helped us immediately. We took care of upgrading the service within minutes and inquired about other stuff. In and out in under 10 minutes, similar to previous courteous, efficient service we received before. Just a side note, my co-worker had been to Verizon store in Huntington Beach area many times and enjoyed her experience there as well. I had SUCH a great experience just a couple hours ago at this particular Verizon store. Ok, first of all, I'm used to T-mobile, and while they get the job done, they rarely have been so helpful, patient, and their stores are rarely that nice to walk in to. I was met with immediate attention at this Verizon store and everyone was very willing to help me with whatever I needed. I've been with T-mobile for as long as I can remember, which I'm now realizing is TOO LONG. Second, let me just say how great Lawrence was at this store!!! He was assigned to help me after I checked in as a brand new (potential) Verizon customer, and he really outdid himself. Maybe it's just because I'm used to such awful people and awful customer service that I don't expect much, but he was so quick and patient with my questions and gave me lots of options that I soon realized I didn't have to worry about anything. I salute you, Lawrence. I hope that you are getting everything you deserve because it really made my entire YEAR just to get that level of help on a holiday weekend, no less. No one knows how much anxiety I had trying to decide where to go or what to do about my new phone, but this store made it painless. It's so clean and organized in there, too. I rarely ever write​ reviews, but today my family and I went in to upgrade our phones and Lawrence kindly greeted us at the door. From the very start, ​he asked us what our needs were and never once tried to be pushy and was extremely patient and charismatic​ with us. Yesterday morning I brought my iPhone 6S plus to the store, requesting to enable HotSpot feature of my phone. After checking their tablet for a while, the store manager also exchanged conversation with another staff, both of them have concluded that my device iPhone 6s plus is not compatible and I cannot have HotSpot feature no matter which plan I selected. I told me the device had HotSpot feature when I used TMO service before. Still, they told me this phone cannot have HotSpot After going home, I called VZW customer service, 10 minutes later, customer service already enable HotSpot to my phone.
