We needed a reliable used car for my college aged daughter at a reasonable price. Checked Car Guru and found a 2013 Huyandi Accent for below blue book value. Went down the same day, met with Justin and bought the car. Great place not only for that beautiful Lexus in the showroom, but a used car as well. They treated us the same as if we were buying a new Lexus. Our salesman Justin was great, as was the finance manager Tim. If we're ever in the market for another car, we'll check with them first! read more

We purchased a used Lexus from this dealership and simply could not be happier with the experience. We live about 100 miles away and found the car we wanted on the Internet. Their information was very thorough and accurate. We contacted them for a clarification and got a very prompt answer. David Lampkins was our contact and he was awesome. He was very communicative and responsive. He gave us several options on how we could move forward with the purchase. Once we arrived at the dealership everything went incredibly smooth. The car was clean. Test drive was quickly arranged and executed. Once we quickly closed the deal thanks to their aggressive and fair pricing, Garrett Clapper walked us through the technical side of the car. He was excellent - quick, efficient and capable of making the difficult look easy. Finally, Nathan in finance moved quickly through the paperwork but still managed to explain everything clearly without being pushy to purchase anything we didn't want. Overall, this was one of the top if not the best car buying experiences we have ever had and there have been many. read more

So I seldom write reviews, but I absolutely must. Customer service is so hard to come by these days and I am still in disbelief how great my mom was treated today. BEST SALESPERSON EVER IS TEVY. If you want integrity, service, honesty this is your salesperson. My father recently died and I was looking for a good car for my mom. Instead of selling a higher priced car, Tevy was more interested in getting my mom into the car that would make her happy in the long run. We wound up getting an ES350 which was less expensive than a sportier version but Tevy wasnt selling the price, she was taking care of my mom. Eddie the sales manager was wonderful. My mom had 2 trade in and their offer was better than what online apps said. Very fair, no hassle. I will be buying my next car from Valley Lexus. Thank you friends for taking care of my mom, it is refreshing to see great customer service is not a lost art. read more

I thought it's time to replace my Lexus for a newer model. I dealt with George last time and it was smooth transaction. This time I went and George was on vacation so they gave me Justin to deal with. Wow! Horrible salesman! I informed him I want to trade in my Lexus for a newer one he told me I would be better off going to Carnax I said ok .i went and actually purchased from Car max in Modesto . I got a used beautiful Lexus! FYI don't waste your time with Justin! He needs to be retrained or find a different line of work. I had even referred my bro to George & he purchased 2 SUV from George! But I know for next time where to buy a car! Thanks for the horrible service! read more

I have been looking at the Lexus IS 250 F Sport and IS 350 F Sport for a while. My co-worker recommended Valley Lexus and had recently bought a Lexus for his wife. I went to look at both vehicles to see If I was ready for the purchase. The one thing that was important to me was a white exterior and red interior. When I arrived they had both vehicles available in the colors that I wanted. My lucky day. Sales Consultant Timothy Sorrick was an excellent consultant he explained to me the difference between both vehicles and we took them out for a test drive. Every question I had about the vehicle was answered. I then spoke to Finance Director Nathan Conway he made me feel at ease and explained the numbers on both of the vehicles. While I was talking to him he informed me that I could be walking away with a brand new car that day. Imagine my surprise when I was just looking at prices. So I chose the IS 350 F Sport. Throughout the whole process I never felt obligated or pressured into anything. The staff were very friendly and worked with what I wanted. After signing the paperwork I spoke with Rose Plong who is the Delivery/Technology Specialist. She spent time after the purchase with me to teach me about my brand new car. This by far has been the best experience in buying a car and I got just what I wanted. I want to thank everyone there that made this an enjoyable experience. read more

My grandparents have been stopping by Valley Lexus for nearly 10 years now. They purchased their RX 350 a few years ago and loved their experience with Eddie. When it was the time for me to purchase a new car Valley Lexus was our first stop. Eddie treated my grandparents like family and gave them a hug as soon as they walked through the door. I looked around and wasn't sure I had found anything but Eddie assured me that he would keep his eyes out for something. Ten minutes later my grandma gets a call from Eddie saying that he found the perfect car for me. We went back and it happened to be the exact same car that he had sold to my grandparents a few years back. It was in perfect condition and Eddie was very excited to show us this car. He wasn't pushy at all and told us to go have lunch before we made the decision. Right after lunch we went right back and bought the car. Eddie treated us like family and the gal who was doing me paperwork with me, Judy, was also so sweet. I didn't feel any pressure at all and I could tell that Eddie had my best interests at heart. Best salesman ever! Thanks Eddie - I will never forget the day I bought my first car :) read more

We bought a new Lexus CT 200 Hybrid from Todd at Valley Lexus, after calling around a number of dealers in the Bay Area to find the one that best fit what we wanted. The whole experience was excellent. We were pretty late on a rainy Saturday evening by the time we got there, but we never felt hurried or pressured. The car we were interested in was ready for us when we got there in the inside showroom (good given the rain!). Everyone was very professional, while we were getting all the paperwork and details of a lease worked out. Even though it was late by then, Todd stayed around to set up bluetooth and a bunch of other things for us, to make sure we would have a fun first drive home. I'd highly recommend Valley Lexus as a place to go for a new car, and definitely worth the drive if you live in the East Bay. read more

If you are in the pursuit of perfection...Valley Lexus of Modesto, CA is the place to be! What a wonderful, car buying experience I had when I purchased a 2000 Lexus RX300! David Lampkins, the internet sales manager, went above and beyond his role and duties as a salesman. My experience there was unbelievable, and I would highly recommend this place to any and everyone I meet. Everyone there, from the GM to the janitorial staff receive a ten in my book! The cars are clean, the service is great, and the experience is once in a lifetime! read more

My husband and I drove to Modesto to get information on an RX350 for my in-laws. We were not really (at all) dressed for a Lexus dealership, but Tim greeted me right away. I explained we were not buying a car that day, but I was on a fact finding mission. Tim was extremely courteous and said that was not a problem. He escorted my husband and I to the new cars and told us all about them. When we determined a new car was most likely beyond the price range my in-laws wanted to be in, Tim was able to show us some very nice used RX 350's. Valley Lexus had a very nice selection used cars and color options. We were able to find a vehicle that we thought might work well for our in-laws. Tim was kind enough to come in on his day off to show the car to them. Tim was a consummate professional and I would recommend him as a sales rep to anyone interested in buying a vehicle from Valley Lexus. read more

We recently purchased a Certified used CT200h from this dealership and the experience and customer serve was excellent. The price for the car very good and Eddie was very polite and helpful. Amazing service and friendly staff. I have been bringing my older Lexus down for service for four years and every time they are super. They treat us as if we had a Rolls Royce brought in for service. Kelly is courteous, professional. Kelly works quickly to get your car into service and gives you an EXACT estimate time when completed. He calls us immediately if other things are not as we discuss at the drop off. Kelly is smart know his stuff and we feel confident and comfortable that the job is getting done and getting done correctly. My husband purchased another brand of car and it was brand new and called back for some minor upgrades. This place left the brand new car on the back lot for two weeks. The service person wasn't warm and somewhat put "out attitude." We picked up the NEW car totally dusty and spider webs all over the car. The dealership didn't think it was important at all, We don't understand why the sales people are so great and the service end is poor. Lexus returns your car clean and tidy. Definitely keeping a opened mind for a newer Lexus in the future. Modesto has it going on....more dealerships need to take a lesson our of Lexus Modesto's play book. Thanks Kelly and crew~ read more

I was looking for new RX350 and sent out a request for quote. Todd Sanders responded and said I won't loose your business this time. He said he was off Thursday, Friday (6-16, 6-17-2016) and he will check his inventory. I was waiting for his call and or text Saturday ( 6-18-2016), but no call, text or email. So I ended getting the Vehicle 2016 RX350 6-18-2016 @ Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. And exactly a week later (6-25-2016) I received a text from him, if I was interested in still buying the RX350. I told him I was waiting all day and no call or text. His reasoning was, " I was busy and sold 4 cars that day, it could have been 5 cars. if he called me. I live in Stockton and have to drive all the way to Fremont to buy my new vehicle. I guess the next vehicle I'll buy, I wont even consider buying it from Valley Lexus. read more

Todd Sanders was awesome and super helpful. He spent a whole week researching and calling Lexus dealerships in California for the exact car I wanted. He found it and had it shipped to valley Lexus. we bought 2 lexus from this dealership. first: the lexus rx 2010 we had was totalled but we walked away without a scratch. so we bought another one, 2014. Eddie Kiryakous in sales is a great salesperson, very friendly, patient, respectful. no high pressure at all. He has a very genuine personality that really makes a difference. the finance person was very helpful, explained things well, did not pressure to add things. I dont remember his name, but he was great and made the whole sale ordeal pleasant and easy. in service, Ed Sarkis is also very friendly, quick to get you going through the service process. and is always smiling even though they may be swamped with customers. we have never had a rude or impatient staff person there. read more

My wife bought a New Lexus 400 hybrid from this dealer in 2008. 2 months later the care was locked up in the garage with the windows up and the moonroof closed. My wife checked the car about 9pm to make sure all was closed up tight because we live in the country and let our cat in the garage at night due to Mtn Lions and Coyotes. She had spent a ton on this car and believe me she made sure all was well every night! The next morning she called and asked me early at work and asked if I had gotten into her car and lowered the windows and the moonroof. I said of course not! Apparently they opened all at once during the night due to some malfunction in the cars onboard computer. There had been a lightening storm that night and maybe that triggered it. WE dont know for sure. My wife called the dealer and told them what happened and they said the only way that can happen is to hold your finger on the keyless remote for 10 seconds and all windows and moonroof open. She told them that she put her keys in the corner of the kitchen at 7 pm and checked the car about 9pm and all was well, so for that to have happened was impossible. The result was that due to a warranty malfunction of some kind the windows opened along with the roof, the cat got in the car and clawed up 3 out of 4 leather seats. The dealer said they would not cover the cost of repair that a cat had been responsible for. I argued that the cats damage was a result of the warranteed part malfunction. They said too bad. I said, "what if the car had been outside and this had happened and 6 inches of rain or three ft of snow had gotten in? Its the same thing, a result of a part malfunction". They said that didnt happen and they were'nt responsible for a cats damage. We took them to small claims and won. We had found evidence via internet by simply hitting Google and typing in "Lexus windows open unexplained". We found several accounts of the same thing happening to other Lexus owners. We thought all was done and Valley Lexus would pay for repair. They didnt. They appealed over 2000 dollars worth of damage. The superior court judge ruled in their favor this time becasue she did not and would not except anything brought into evidence form the internet. All my wife did wrong in the whole thing is to buy a car from a dealer who would not stand behind their warranty. Thanks to Valley Lexus, we have a 45 thousand dollar car with clawed up seats and did nothing wrong! Thanks Valley Lexus for taking such good care of your customers! read more

Beware! A probable misdiagnosis and huge waste of money (approximately $4000+-) when I took my 2004 Lexus 330RX to them because the transmission in my 330RX was locking up and the engine dying. I was told they did a "stall test" and the car needed a transmission which would cost $5500. Instead of letting them do the work, I had it taken to a highly rated nearby transmission specialist, who relying on the diagnosis of Valley Lexus took apart the transmission and found nothing wrong with it nor any problem with the differential. The transmission specialist will replace seals and gaskets and put the existing transmission back in. It may be the Transmission Control Unit or some other problem, but it isn't the transmission that was causing the problem. Words cannot express my displeasure with Valley Lexus and I can't imagine ever doing any repair business with them again or buying a new Lexus from them. I have so far wasted at least $3600 based on their apparent misdiagnosis and don't yet know the total expenses to properly fix my car. Words alone cannot describe my disappointment in Valley Lexus' apparent misdiagnosis and inability to find the actual problem. So far, I am disappointed, angry and out at least $3600. read more

BEWARE! DO NOT GO TO VALLEY LEXUS! BETTER SERVED OUT OF TOWN! I typically shop and do business locally because I think it is important to support the local economy. However, when I was looking to buy a new car all I receive is lies from Valley Lexus. FIrst they lied about the price of the vehicle, even though I had seen the real price online. Second they lied about the certification of the car. The test drive was horrible, the salesman didnt seem to know anything about the vehicle I test drove. I had to ask all the questions and comment on all the features. After I left that day, they called me and told me a wholesaler was going to buy the car and I needed to get down to the dealership right away before the wholesaler got there. Again this was an obvious lie. Needless to say I went out of town to buy my Lexus. The deaership that I bought my LExus from said that they get a lot of customers from Valley Lexus as their employees are so bad that customers decide to buy at other dealerships. The owners of the Central Valley need to monitor their staff so they can hire staff who are honest and actually knowledgeable about their products. read more

Purchased a RX 350 from Valley Lexus over a year ago. Both Michael and Todd did a good job. The sales experience and delivery were good. Unfortunately the three experiences with the service department since then have been mediocre at best. Every time I've called the service department I'm transferred to a service advisors voicemail. The most recent call was due to the car not starting and having a dead battery. After leaving a voicemail with a service advisor and not getting a call back for two hours I called the dealership again, I got there rude receptionist Myra on the phone, she asked, "didn't you already call, there very busy" I was surprised by this question and her tone. I told her I would try somewhere else, which she thanked me for and hung up. It was pretty obvious she didn't want my business if she thanked me for telling her I would try somewhere else. I called Pleasanton Lexus and immediately got a service advisor on the phone who told me Lexus roadside assistance would only tow my car to the closest Lexus dealer (Valley Lexus 4 miles from my house) so I jump started my car and drove to Pleasanton where they got me in quickly and replaced the battery and checked the charging system. It was a bad battery which they said was unusual for a car thats a little over a year old with 10k that's driven daily. I finally got a call back from a service advisor six hours later from Valley Lexus. Valley Lexus can't cut it with a rude receptionist and a voicemail as the face of there service department. read more

After driving the car and finding out it used 6 quarts of oil in about a month, I was a bit worried that a Lexus RX300 with 73,000 miles on it was not what I had expected. So, I contacted the dealership through Thevy. I explained that when I bought a low mileage Lexus, I expected a car that would last through my son's college years and beyond. They agreed to an oil consumption test at Fresno Lexus for my convenience. Fresno did a great job finding that a valve job was needed. Valley Lexus then wanted to handle things in-house, so my son drove it to them. After a week in Modesto (Valley Lexus), the RX300 is fixed and running smoothly. The dealership handled the valve job and a few other items without cost to me. They did recommend a few minor items to be handled while they had the motor torn apart (timing belt package, radiator hoses, and thermostat, etc..) all at a reduced rate (Approx. $800.00). All of which I would have to perform as normal maintenance in the near future. So, thank you Valley Lexus, the General Manager, Dane, Kelly, the Technician, and of coarse, Thevy. They stood-by the Lexus product and kept a customer very satisfied. My next car will be a Lexus. read more
