We've worked with Eddie, the Online Product Director, multiple times over the years, and every experience has been outstanding. His honesty, professionalism, and integrity are rare in this industry, and it's what keeps bringing us back. Even though we live in Fresno, we've made the trip to Modesto several times because the level of customer service simply can't be matched. (And trust me, we've shopped around) We've now done business for three vehicles through Audi Modesto, and each time has been smooth, fair, and enjoyable. Eddie and the entire team genuinely care about their customers and stand behind what they do. We'll absolutely continue making the drive to Audi Modesto for future vehicles, it's worth it every time.

First time buyer at this Audi dealership and I have to say that they have excellent employees: Jeff in sales , Eddie sales manager, Melissa finance manager , Chris service manager along with their General manager who I regret not remembering his name . No hassle , no pressure, just straight up friendly and professional. I will definitely buy my next car here along with service my Audi at this location. Highly recommend bringing your business here if you want to be treated well. Thank you everyone at Audi Modesto!

Buckle up, this will be a good one…read more We have been entertaining the idea of a van to convert to a rec vehicle. Through CarGurus we found a van that was located at Devine Auto. I googled Devine Auto and checked out what reviews had to say. After doing our homework we decided we wanted to check out this 2014 Ram Promaster. Their website has an option to text a question, I sent a message inquiring on who they use for financing and what rates are. Anthony texted back within an hour and let me know they have a few different credit unions they use. He also followed up with a call (we weren't able to connect,) but appreciate the effort. Fast forward to the next day, we were in Modesto for an appointment. Started early and walked in as soon as they opened and were warmly greeted by Elvis. He was able to show us the van and we both were able to drive it. Upon return we started the purchase process, sat down with Mike. We gave Mike a price out the door we were comfortable with and he made it happen. Also used his financing after checking with my bank. We left for our appointment and then came back to complete the paperwork and drove home in our new to us preloved Promaster. We had a few issues we found and called Mike. He was quick to get the van back and correct the issues with no question. We also purchased a warranty with the van being 10 years old. We had an amazing experience at Devine Auto. I am not sure when we will need to buy again, but Devine will be our first stop. Mike, Elvis, Anthony, Roy... all of them were like old friends and the vibe was so comfortable. I would recommend Devine Auto to anyone looking for a vehicle!

My partner and I visited Prestige Auto Sales in Modesto after finding a van online that we were interested in purchasing. The staff allowed us to test drive the vehicle, and we liked it enough to begin the purchase process. During our inspection, we used a code reader and found a pending diagnostic code. When we sat down to review the paperwork, the initial itemized loan breakdown included a $3,999 extended warranty. We declined the warranty, and the salesperson, Thomas, went to prepare revised paperwork. Another employee, Nick, then spoke with us and explained that if we chose not to purchase the warranty, the vehicle would be sold as-is. We were comfortable with that and told him so. We also mentioned the pending code we had found. Nick said he would take a look at the vehicle and then drove it away. After that, Thomas returned and told us they would need to wait for a mechanic shop to open in order to address the pending code and could deliver the vehicle the following day. We explained that we had access to our own mechanics and were willing to purchase the van as-is. Unfortunately, after that conversation, Nick never returned to speak with us, and our subsequent calls were not returned. We left without being able to complete the purchase. We were ready to buy the vehicle that day, so the lack of communication and follow-up was disappointing. A simple explanation or callback would have gone a long way.

Being from…read moreout of state, the deal needed to be handled entirely online and over the phone with clear communication and trust. After Quong, their salesman, first contacted me, his follow-up was slow and brief. I asked to speak with a sales manager, and Homer Amri called back, explaining that their policy required me to register in California and pay state sales tax. After checking with the California DMV, I learned that as an out-of-state resident, I was not required to title the car or pay California sales tax as long as I didn't take possession in the state and could prove my residency elsewhere. Homer said he'd discuss this with the dealer principal and get back to me. The next day, still waiting for a call, I noticed on their website that the car had sold. I had to reach out to Quong to confirm that indeed the car had been sold. Their repeated excuse for poor communication was, "we were very busy." It's clear they don't prioritize online or out-of-state buyers, so unless you're local and can visit in person, you should look elsewhere to purchase your car.

Best car buying experience I have had, went in there and Colin (really tall guy) was super nice and polite. Had a very pleasant conversation with him and really good guy. The other guy I talked to was either the finance guy or the manager, don't remember his name, but he was great too. All in all I was out of there within four hours or so (car detail, paperwork, etc). A+ experience. I've had some bad experiences before with Kia salesmen (finance guy was surprisingly solid though), Toyota salesmen, and Lexus Finance guy (Lexus salesmen was a perfect gentlemen though). I still remember the Lexus finance room where everytime I said no to a warranty, he'd give me a dirty look like I am an idiot and say "what are you going to do if it breaks?" It's a LEXUS dude! People are buying it to NOT have to buy extended warranties haha. Same with Mazda! It's reliable, no need for extended warranties. The finance guy at Mazda gave me his warranty pitch, I politely declined, only a slight amount of polite pushback, and that was that. Great guy. Thank you Modesto Mazda. I'll be servicing my Mazda there for many years. My review on the car and why I bought a Mazda 3 Sedan over a Honda or Toyota: - Almost luxury car interior. Best interior for the price range by far, head and shoulders above Toyota, Honda, etc. - Exterior and Interior are beautiful. - Naturally Aspirated Engine, Normal Automatic 6 speed Transmission, and I didn't want a Hybrid. I plan on driving this car 200k+ miles and I don't want a big 5k battery replacement expense nor do I want a CVT Transmission crapping out on me at 130k miles. - Looks way nicer than a Corolla or Civic. I think the new Civics are kind of ugly TBH. - After tons of research, I think Mazda is third in reliability behind Lexus and Toyota. And definitely more reliable than a Non Hybrid Corolla with the CVT (the eCVT in the hybrid version is fine). - Mazda is #1 in car crash safety. - AWD - Seats are 10x more comfortable than other compact sedans. The Leather seats in the Civic Touring are horrible. No lumbar support and also hard as a rock, and you slip everywhere. - Has memory seating, rare for this price point. - Solid MPG for a non hybrid. - I fell in love with the Polymetal Gray color. Although I do like Machine Gray, Platinum Quartz, Black, and Red a lot as well. Mazda Red is the only red I think looks great on a car. Get a Mazda. And get one from Modesto. Maybe I should be part of the sales team haha (just kidding). Hope this review helps any potential buyers out. EDIT: One last thing... the service area here is basically a luxury car experience. It is a VERY nice area. Super upscale, great seats, great design, TV's, etc. It's completely on par with Lexus. Rare for a non luxury brand. Honda, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, and most non luxury brands have a pretty meh service area. Mazda's is on par with Lexus, BMW, etc. The outside also looks like a luxury car dealership. I love the black and silver color scheme and overall building design. Whoever designed the building did a great job.

Short version: a $4,738 repair. I was first told I owed every dollar, then, with my service…read morecontract on the claim, that I still owed over $2,000. I paid $0. The only reason I know that is I did this service department's paperwork myself. This started as a two star review. The finish earned the third star. On the people: the communication problems ran through more than one advisor, so this isn't about one person. Mine had good moments: he owned the numbers, apologized in writing when they turned out wrong, and called unprompted for permission before removing my aftermarket lights. But simple yes or no emails went unanswered for days, and an advisor who answers fast by phone yet goes quiet whenever something needs to go on paper doesn't look lazy. He looks like someone working where paper is dangerous. A pattern that survives multiple employees isn't a personnel problem. It's a management product. The one exception was the lane manager, Kevin, who answered quickly every time. Saturday July 11: dropped off my 2022 WRX. Monday July 13: diagnosis, a leaking AC evaporator core, and a driver's seat frame that snapped at a factory weld on the freeway. $4,738 at 78K miles, warranty long expired, and the bill was mine. It stayed mine until I found a CNA National service contract I'd forgotten I bought at another dealership years ago. This store works with a different administrator and had no reason to know CNA's procedures. That buys real grace. Mid week I was told verbally, twice, I owed $2,000+ for a "labor difference." I'd said early on email works best and I wanted things in writing. Emailed questions still got phone calls back, if anything. Six requests before a partial breakdown. Five written loaner requests over 18 days. Never answered. The completion date moved three times, and I usually learned it slipped by calling on the due date. Part of the delay was human, and I hold none of it against anyone: the tech who started my car was injured on the job, and I hope he heals well. One man went down and my job sat for days, mid dash. That's not a technician problem. That's a department one technician deep on its biggest jobs. Staffing depth is a management decision. Other reviews here repeat the same words: lack of communication, dropped the ball. I wasn't an outlier. So I called CNA myself. The claim went in at 15 hours for the evaporator core alone. Mitchell shows about 8.5, ALLDATA 7.8. CNA authorized 13.9 for the whole job. No guide near 15. Once I put those in writing, I got an apology: the numbers had been "keyed in wrong." I take that at face value. The corrected submission came back at, you guessed it, 13.9 hours, matching CNA to the penny. A $2,000 error, quoted twice, caught by nobody in the building. The safety net wasn't the process. It was me. The remaining $649.05 was a $549.05 rate gap ($225/hr vs $264.50) plus my deductible. My contract pays the facility's retail rate. I read that one sentence to CNA. Their supervisor agreed on the call and phoned the shop, which pays this shop its full rate. I recovered money for the store that was, at that moment, asking me for it. The low point: asked if CNA had contacted them, I was told they hadn't heard from anyone. CNA's notes show a voicemail already left. Their rep then called the lane manager himself so it landed. Now the third star, because fairness cuts both ways. And when I put the timeline in writing on day 17 and asked for one firm date, the service manager replied the next morning with the date and waived my $100 deductible as goodwill. That's why I paid zero, and I want it on the record. The claims stumbles I forgive as unfamiliarity. My hope for the next customer: when the contract is AllState, the plan this store sells, go to bat for them from the start instead of expecting them to eat costs that belong to the warranty company. People set the tone of a conversation. Management sets the default. One thing the goodwill couldn't reach: the car was held an extra day to make sure everything was in order. At pickup, no audio except the subwoofer. My installer found the connector behind the factory head unit unplugged, the sub wire unplugged, and wiring cut and re-taped where clean connections used to be. I had it fixed elsewhere. An extra day making sure everything was in order should have included turning on the radio. The car is fun. My next repair happens at an independent shop. If you come here with a service contract: everything in writing, call your administrator yourself, approve nothing verbal, and test everything before you drive off. The bill was $4,738. I was told I owed all of it. Then $2,000. Then $649. Then $100. I paid $0. Every step down happened because one customer wouldn't approve a number nobody would write down. Ask what happens to the ones who do.
