We were appalled at this option so we ignored their multiple requests to bring it in after that. So when Christina reached out and said they have the new hybrid battery and would do all these services for free, we were so excited and relieved. All they did was wipe the bottom of my door and claim one was completed. They claimed a multi point inspection but didn't see my shredded wiper blade. My car then sat outside for 3 more hours without a call or update. When I called they told me they needed to order parts and it'd take two more days. I had taken a day off work and drove to Turlock for nothing. Never going back. Ever. Loved them under the prior ownership. I am very sad. read more

Our experience in purchasing a 2024 Bronco with Price Ford of Turlock was great. We went in having already done our research and I knew exactly what trim/model of the Bronco we were looking for on the lot. The website was easy to navigate and really well done, so that I knew what to expect when going in. Juan was our salesman and he was extremely pleasant and very helpful. He was very attentive and was able to answer all our questions. I knew from the website and from my previous research that I would be purchasing the truck that day, but there was never any pushy sales tactics and we felt appreciated throughout the time we were there. Our work with Dylan the sales manager on the financing side and purchase of our trade in was equally a pleasant experience. Not so much as a service review this time, simply because I have an aversion to getting screwed. 4 years ago, my step son leased a truck from Price Ford, and used me as a reference, which was cool, no problem, anyway I can help. Fast forward 3 years, the lease is up and the games began, to make a long story short, it was an absolute nightmare to turn the vehicle in, then all all of the fees added after the inspection, which in and of itself was shady at best... Fine, whatever, got payment and everything set up, then starting 2 weeks later we started getting Toll Road bills, dated starting after we turned in the truck. Update... jerry called me and apologized for the work not completed and say he would refund that portion. I am grateful for the communication. I have been a ford owner before. I purchased a great used truck and took it in to have some maintenance done that I didn't want to do myself though I am capable. SPECIFICALLY I wanted the intake clean bc it's a known issue with the 3.5 and carbon build up. I specifically asked and confirmed that this would be a manual clean, not just a spray clean (which I could just do myself through air intake). I was ASSURED that they "take their brushes and clean it". So I did it. I also had the transmission filter and fluid drain and fill. I came home and was cleaning the MAF sensors and continuing with my maintenance and guess what.... They DID NOT clean it manually. They charged me for the service and a 9.99 can of intake cleaner. How do I know they didn't manually clean it? Because it is still noticeably dirty where they would have taken the throttle body and intake cover off. No finger prints anywhere, no screw or bold had been touched, no sign of anyone actually working under the hood. This is why many people feel like dealers rip us off. This is my first experience with price and I can say I am disappointed. I specifically asked if they do a manual clean and I was told yes. Either a tech didn't finish the job ticket or I was misled. I am very disappointed. It makes me second guess my transmission work. It definitely looks worked on at the pan... but did they do a drain and fill like i asked? Ugh. read more

My fiancé made an appointment at Price Ford for an AC repair on his mustang. We walked in and Nickeddy Flores treated us like we were an inconvenience to him. He told us that they were too busy to accommodate us today. My fiancé explained that he had made an appointment online and Nickeddy Flores stated that was our mistake that we didn't call and speak with someone because online appointments do not consider their staffing shortage. He told us we could leave the car but it would take at least 3 days to get back to us. My fiancé asked about loaner vehicles and he said that none were available and he had no idea when they would be returned. My fiancé tried to make an appointment for the following week and Nickeddy only gave us a few week day options. My fiancé asked about Saturday appointments Because we both work full time hours during Fords business hours. Nickeddy looked irritated again and explained they could not help us on Saturday because they don't have the staffing. So why have business hours? He finally agreed to schedule us the Saturday appointment, but honestly we will be taking our business elsewhere. Price Ford really needs to work on their customer service skills. The gentleman that told me they couldn't change my oil was courteous... I'll give you that (one star is for him). I went there on Christmas Eve... they offered that date as an option two weeks prior for an oil change AND a check engine light diagnostic. At that time they also KNEW I had a Mazda. I had a bad taste in my mouth from dealing with Razzari in Merced, thought this place might be better. Got there ahead of my 730a appt but waited until that time to walk into the office. Gentleman takes my info. I communicate I was also there for a diagnostic but that the engine light had since disappeared. A passer by (also employee) asked how long it had been, I said a couple days. He said they wouldn't be able to help because it overwrites... fine. Then they advise me they cannot service vehicles that are NOT Ford because the provider/shop they use was closed today... I clarified that was true for my oil change and they said yes. Listen, I know I am a woman, but an oil change has never required more than oil and perhaps machinery that can rotate tires. If they didn't want to have me there on Christmas Eve I would have welcomed a call the day before to cancel it! Spent about 1 hour of drive time (to there and back home) in dense fog. I have been looking at vehicle upgrade options and dealers nearby.. this has been ruled out. Unfortunate. read more

I've brought my car here for the same issue 3 years in a row and each time they try to say my car isn't covered under warranty because it was never fixed there and I have to pay out of pocket. That is until I ask for service history records then luckily my car is now covered. They've kept my car for 3 weeks almost and haven't offered a loaner car or to reimburse for a rental so another out of pocket expense at the hands if their shoddy workmanship and customer service. Jeff Lewis was my service advisor and he is unresponsive and unreliable. The service manager Mark will say whatever he needs to get you out of his office but won't ensure that his advisors are adequately doing their job. But honestly that interaction and experience is over in a couple of hours. My experience with the Price Ford of Turlock management team has been excruciatingly painful. Between the false promises of the service work being completed when they said it would to the half hearted workmanship they try to pass off as Ford Factory Specifications. The staff is unprofessional and does not show a keen interest in the service situation your in. They lack a customer service oriented approach. If your thinking of taking your vehicle to get serviced at Price Ford of Turlock I would think twice because it might take them 2,3,4 times to actually get it Half Right. If other Ford dealerships are to inconvenient to get to just be prepared to be disappointed especially with Jeff and Mark in the service department. The problem wasn't the deley in parts from The Ford Factory though I was given that excuse. It was when the parts arrived and were installed that is when I seen the workmanship. Fingerprints everywhere, electronics not functioning, New damaged parts! I uploaded some pictures of the workmanship and the 4th try detail job that Price Ford Stands behind as the Manager Mark in the Service department said that this is acceptable to him. I believe it because he inspected the Super duty himself. Then again it wasn't his $60,000 he spent... I wish I could give a negative star rating for the carelessness. read more

I ordered a truck from them and I always go in about every two week and bug them to see if my truck is being made yet. They have no problem with me going in and checking my order status . Went into Price Ford for a recall repair after making an appointment. I was about 10 minutes late but called to let them know and was told "don't worry about it you're fine." I was told the repair would only take about 15 minutes and then I could wait for the repair in their lounge. I checked in and gave them my information and the keys and took a seat as instructed. After an hour with no one letting me know what the hold up was, I asked a very pleasant young man if he would check to see if they were finished and maybe I missed them when I went to the restroom. But no, they hadn't even started the repair?!!! I was told it would be about another half hour and then they would get the car pulled up front for me...so 2 hours and 18 minutes after I gave them my keys, the 15 minute repair was completed. They failed to update me even once during that time, they also left the plastic seat cover bunched up on the front seat and the dirty paper mat on the floorboard. Just sloppy and unprofessional service all around. This will be the last time I do business here for service or even when I purchase another vehicle, I'll drive to Modesto or Merced. This from a loyal Ford customer for more than 30 years. read more

V.C. 27151 No person shall modify the exhaust system of a motor vehicle in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the motor of such vehicle so that the vehicle is not in compliance with the provisions of Section 27150 or exceeds the noise limits established for the type of vehicle in Article 2.5(commencing with Section 27200) of this chapter. No person shall operate a motor vehicle with an exhaust system so modified. This shows that there are other characteristics that the exhaust system must conform to truly show a violation. This also shows that other vehicle codes must be considered when in violation of this vehicle code. CA. V.C. 27150 (a) Every motor vehicle subject to registration shall be equipped with an adequate muffler in constant operation and properly maintained to prevent any excessive or unusual noise, and no muffler or exhaust system shall be equipped with a cutout, bypass, or similar device. (b) Except as provided in Division 16.5 (commencing with Section 38000) with respect to off-highway motor vehicles subject to identification, every passenger vehicle operated off the highways shall at all times be equipped with an adequate muffler in constant operation and proper maintained so as to meet the requirements of Article 2.5 (commencing with Section 27200), and no muffler or exhaust system shall be equipped with a cutout, bypass, or similar device. (c) The provision of subdivision (b) shall not be applicable to passenger vehicles being operated off the highways in an organized racing or competitive event conducted under the auspices of a recognized sanctioning body or by a permit issued by the local governmental authority having jurisdiction. Part (a) states that the muffler must suppress any excessive or unusual noise. This refers to part (b) which states that the muffler must meet the requirements of Article 2.5, which refers to noise levels.
