I've attached a picture of myself, Adan and my (new) certified used 2022 Honda Passport

I was looking for a Cert. Used Honda Passport. Thankfully Adan saw us and came over with the golf cart. I'm disabled. We couldn't agree on a deal for the Passport I was looking at. I went home. Adan is the only reason I went back. He is easy-going, easy-going to talk to and not pushy at all. He's an ASSET to Mistlin Honda. I drove home in my new (to me) certified used 2022 Honda Passport. Ask for Adan if you want a fantastic experience when shopping for a Vehicle at Mistlin Honda. Vicki

Transmission fluid overlooked in $250 "thorough inspection"

I recently bought a Honda Fit with low miles here in Modesto and wanted Honda themselves to do an inspection before purchase. My fiancée brought the car to Mistlin Honda, and they came back with a list: front brake pads, a cabin filter, and "significant" rust. Naturally, the rust comment raised concerns, but when the dealer went to Honda to double-check, suddenly it "wasn't significant." Whatever--we paid the $250 for the inspection and left. The dealer replaced the brakes before I bought it, and I handled the air filters myself. Fast forward: a week ago, the oil change light comes on. Strange, since Mistlin had just "signed off" that all fluids were fine. I commute daily, so I took it in for an oil change and also requested a transmission flush because there was no service history. At Midas, they showed me the transmission fluid that came out--black, burnt, and foul-smelling. In other words, clearly never serviced and obviously not checked during the $250 "thorough inspection" Honda claimed they performed. I even brought the burnt fluid back to Mistlin, and they admitted it had never been changed. The service advisor's response? "Sorry man, I didn't help your fiancée." No attempt to make it right, no manager called over--just a shrug. This was my first and last time trusting Mistlin Honda. I wanted to give them a chance, but if this is how they "inspect" cars and treat a first time customer, I'll take my business elsewhere.

This is the trash they left !

I brought my car in for repairs. I picked it up and apparently they ate Panda Express and Drank Star Bucks Threw the napkins, trash and garbage on the floor for me to clean up. If you're going to eat and drink in my car while servicing it. Please clean up after yourself!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We took our car here back in May to have work done on the fuel pump due to a recall, the following week our car started having a laggy feeling when stepping on the gas. About a week after that the car would start misfiring and go completely into limp mode. So we contact Honda and they have us bring it back in. They "diagnose" our vehicle saying it needs a new turbocharger and quote us $2,300 for replacement. We trusted them that this was the issue. It took us a month to save up the money. We bring it back to replace the turbo and not even 5 hours after picking up the car it starts doing the same exact thing. It sputtered and went into limp mode while I was getting on the highway almost causing me to get rear ended. This happened on a Friday evening so we had to wait till the following Monday to take it back in. Sam Galvan and the service manager Jason both continued to tell us that there is nothing wrong with our vehicle, after having it for 6 hours that day we left with no answers/solutions to our initial problems. They even said they drove it to Enoch's HS and back and still no misfiring/lag was noticed by them. Not even 3 minutes after we pull out of their lot the car starts misfiring again. They also mentioned it needed an oil change so we did that at SpeeDee and the problem still remains. Today we take it to O'Reilly's to diagnose again and code P0303 pops up saying cylinder 3 misfire detected. As mentioned our car had no noticeable issues prior to taking it in for the recall. Even if we did need the new turbo charger based on "how many miles" are on the car and their diagnose, why can't they figure out what is actually wrong with our vehicle after having it in their shop 3 different times. In total we paid them $2,409.90. And the initial problem is still happening. Photos did not post in order for some reason. But dates are shown.

The scratch i told them about , he said ok what you want me to do .Honda very un professional and lied to me.

I went for an inspection. I came out with a scratch. The man didn't budge when I told him they told me my battery was no good. It was a brand new battery, then they come out and say, oh yeah, your battery's good. We tested it.

I own a taxi service and TV/Film company and need my vehicles on the road like yesterday. One of my Taxis needed a catalyst converter. Three different shops quoted me $5,200 to $5,500. I got a out the door, OEM catalyst converter for $2,525!!! Auto & Fleet Mechanic will work with you and I take all my fleet vehicles here 100% Great pricing I don't understand the 1 star reviews what so ever.. Solid company here. Their quality and value are unmatched, for sure!! 100% recommend as a fleet owner.

Tired AF after working a 16 hour shift, the last thing I wanted to deal with was car problems…read more Life had other plans. While driving home all of the sudden all the warning lights come on my dash. You would have thought the car was about to blow up! I took my Civic to my local Honda dealer as I have always done. They diagnosed the issue and told me my engine harness needed to be replaced. I about lost it when they said it would be $3000. My car was not drivable, but I just couldn't hand over three thousand of my hard earned dollars. Luckily, I had access to a loaner vehicle in my family, so I had time to search for an alternative repair shop. I put the word out and a friend referred me to this shop. It is about an hour, some distance from my home, but I decided to give them a shot. I am sure glad I did! I was impressed from the moment I walked into the shop. I was warmly greeted by Sheila and I took notice of the cleanliness of not only the customer area but repair area too! Shelia discussed my concerns and promised to have a diagnosis by the end of the day. I was pleasantly surprised when I learned the repairs could be done for a fraction of what I was originally quoted. A&F Mechanic was able to resolve my original concern plus two others I asked them to look at. All this at less than 1/3 of what the dealer quoted for one problem. Sure cost is important, especially in this economy, but so is courtesy and trustworthiness. A&F Mechanic has all these and more. I would surely consider them again for my auto mechanic needs and would recommend you give them a try like I did.

A disappointing experience with Heritage Ford…read more I brought in my 2020 Ford Escape for an oil change and a repair of my power liftgate button. I also had an issue with the Ford Pass app; it was showing that my car was in battery saver/sleep mode. At the counter, I was told there was also a recall that they would handle. When explaining the app issue, the workers at the counter rudely told me "I have no idea what that is, just call them." So much for the $295 diagnostic fee! After "working" on the car all day, I picked up the car and was told to bring it back once they got the parts in. I brought it back in the morning two days later. They called saying the button was fixed. As soon as I sat in the car to drive out of the lot, I noticed the check engine light was on. How weird, I came in for an issue with the trunk...but the check engine light is on now? I bring the keys back to the counter to find out why the CEL is on and find that they were going to let me drive off without having even worked on the recall! Later this day, I'm called again saying it's ready and that the light was on because the technician had forgotten to reset something. I come in, still not knowing why the battery is in sleep mode and why I can't access the remote features in the app. I end up going on a goose chase throughout the dealership, with the only solution seeming to be "try logging out and back into the app" and "turn your phone off and back on." The issue was confirmed to not be with the app at all, but the technicians refused to see what the physical issue could be. You guessed it, I requested them to figure it out and they kept the car another night. Next day, they tell me there was an issue with the charging system. They didn't notice this earlier when they supposedly did a scan of the car's entire system? I got to have this absurd and annoying experience for over $850. I am not very familiar with cars but I feel like this was grossly overcharged for the issues I experienced with Heritage. The staff at the service counters have a serious attitude problem. I understand they are very busy in the mornings, but it seemed like they simply did not want to help or hear what my car issues were. When one person didn't know they answer, they just shoved me onto someone else who did not care to help me get the answers either. The service department did a lousy job at checking their boxes and making sure everything is ready and working before returning the car the customer. When paying, the cashier was barely paying attention and couldn't hear me while she had her AirPods in. The sales department is much better though. I bought three vehicles with their fleet manager who is super helpful. He really made the purchasing experience feel personalized and special. He may be the only person in the dealership who doesn't hate their job. I would also like to note they have a good shuttle service. They will take you to and from any local area (even neighboring cities like Salida and Ripon) while your vehicle is being serviced. I would say, only come here if you have to.

The customer parking was a bit off to the side in a rocky area but I'm guessing it's because they just have a massive amount of cars in their inventory When we talked to some of the staff we quickly were able to test drive a 2019 Subaru Outback that we were looking for which was awesome. They pulled it up for us and gave us a map that showed you where all you go for your test drive. The test drive is really just a giant circle around the block which has varying speed limits so it's a bit short but also just enough to get a feel for the car. I also appreciate that they don't feel the need to sit in the car with you so you can just focus on the test drive. We told them we were interested in the car but there were a weird issue where the window control panel on the driver side only was able to roll up/down the driver window but none of the others. They said they would immediately take It over to get it fixed and did just that. The prices are non-negotiable which we'd read online but the cars they have in their inventory are actually in really great condition. They all had brand new tires, cleaned thoroughly inside and out, and they repair any issues that previous owners didn't want to. They defintiely put time, money, and labor into each of the cars and when you compare across other dealerships, Robert's Auto cars are in better condition. When we were talking through the price they were immediately able to show us what the costs were out-the-door with the exact breakdown of fees which there are no "surprise fees". They only charged for what was required (title/taxes/registration) and THAT IS IT. We told them we'd come back with a cashiers check and did exactly that in 30 mins. We spent maybe an extra 25 mins to sign paper work and by that time the driver side window control panel was fixed and they had prepped/washed/polished the car inside and out which was awesome. In total we spent maybe 2 hours from when we first pulled in, to where we drove off with the car and I really appreciated how transparent and chill the staff was. Cons: My only incredibly minor complaint/observation was that none of the cars that I saw have floor mats. Which is more odd than anything. If I see I car I want there in the future, I would definitely drive the 4 hours back just because I know exactly what I'm going to get. I'd highly recommend their team! We're all human and miss things but the difference is that they're willing to pay out of pocket to get it fixed before you drive off and even give you 5 days to bring it back (I think) and a 30 day dealer warranty. If the car you want has CarPlay then make sure you bring a USB cable Here's a list of things I like to check: Lights: turn signals, hazards, high and low beams, fog lights Interior: speakers (check to make sure none of them are blown out), all seat controls on driver and passenger side. Make sure they can move forward/back/up/down/etc. Check seat heaters, check the AC works, check window wipers/+rear, check that all of the window controls on all of the doors, check the back up camera. When test driving: check the blind spot detection indicators Overall, 10/10 car dealership!
