Passport Services! Let me preface by saying I rarely go to the post office. I have tried to slow it down in order to have patience enough to wait in a line of 20 people on their lunch hour too, but prefer to do most of my business online these days. Got to the post office about 12:45, surprisingly there were only 2 people in line. What are the chances? This was going to be good! I was prepared with my online form completed as well as having documentation in hand. Michael escorted me to the passport room where he took my photo, had me take the oath and 20 minutes later I was outie. 6 weeks from now I should have my credentials and away I go on vacation. =) read more

Although I have never walked into this location, I drop off packages in the back of the building almost every day. The staff there are very helpful and the postal delivery people are patient and friendly. I like that you can drop packages until 5:30 or 6:00 even though the office closes at 5:00. There is decent parking too. Maybe when I get a chance to use the font end of the office, I'll update my review.. But just the fact being open until 5:00 is an attractive option. read more

So disappointed... Mailed my ballot on Sunday and guess what came in the mail today...my ballot! Um...I did no sent it to myself...it is CLEARLY addressed to the REGISTRAR OF VOTERS in all caps and bold type. REALLY!!!! Why the ---- did I mail it when I now have to go find a polling place and drop off. This review is not for the post office it self! This review is about Rosemary ( not sure if it gets spelled this way)who works there. I live in Arizona.I had a passport that was bouncing around for 1 1/2 month from post office to post office because the German consult messed something up while sending it. I was going crazy because we are set to move in two month to Germany. Anyways while so many post offices including my post office all failed to look at the address written on the envelope they just Scanned it and threw it into the doesn't belong to us bin! Well Rosemary noticed it and contacted me personally. She tried to call and post notes. She was in contact with me every day to keep me updated. We intercepted the package and waited 2 week to be send to her which did not happen. So I paid $25 dollars for nothing. I also filled a missing package report and that did nothing. I get it's covet 19 but man! Anyways I contacted her after 2 weeks of the package enjoy moving and she again took matters in to her own hands. She tracked down the package daily and again called me every day. She finally got it to stop in my area and was able to get in contact with the manager here. The envelope is suppose to be on the way to my house so fingers x. However without her my package still would be bouncing around. She rocks. If more ppl would be like this the post office would be amazing! read more

Good location, street and parking lot parking. Long lines during peak hours but moves swiftly.

I expected to have to wait around 30 minutes to mail my package because of the long line, but Markeita came by asked if i was going to use my credit or debit card. I said yes and she helped me use the electronic machine and within 5 minutes I was in and out! Super fast and friendly service! read more

2nd time mis-delivery for item purchased on ebay.. luckily I was refunded my money for purchases but screwed the sellers over as items were not insured... I believe they mistakenly place them in other tenants mailboxes. Will have to use my work address in the future. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. So fed up with this place. 3rd time in a matter of months my package hasn't been delivered. Getting straight ridiculous. Going to file a complaint tomorrow with the post master as well as the BBB. What's the point of a post office if they can't get the mail to my house. Ha to be the worst post office. I hate to do this, but this post office is unsatisfactory due to a particular staff member that works here. She is rather careless in her work effort and on several times I've had the misfortune of having her serve me, I've been kept waiting for long periods of time or she redirected me to someone else to handle my needs, all with a rather condescending attitude. The worker in question is a younger woman who wears glasses, has black hair, nametag with "TY" and usually wears a skirt. I've never met a USPS staff member so rude and careless in her duties in all my 10+ years going to various post offices in the OC. Next time if I go here and I see her, I think I'll just head up to Orange PO instead. Everyone else at this PO is dilligent and friendly, but this one staff really sours it, i'm sorry to say. read more

Very impressed with this office; I forgot to add an apartment number when sending a package to a friend so she hadn't received it, although it had been "delivered." I called the office and they promptly assisted and figured everything out while being very patient and positive. The package was deliver to the correct address within the hour! read more

There is no real set protocol, the clerks ignore you, and then they promise to deliver the next day to make it right only to have the package be delivered days later. Very disappointing for such a slow facility read more

I would like to give 5 stars to their manager Sherif Mansour (I hope I spelled it right) for providing the best service. I stop getting mails and packages for some reason and he handled it very good. He made sure my problem resolves and he spoke to the carriers personally. He even called me numerous time to update me and made sure I get my mails and packages. Thank you!!! read more

Worst service and management team. Inefficient and incompetence married into lazy civil service employees. You wait in line, only to find out 1.) "They don't do...",2.)"You need an appointment for....",3.)"We can't find....you need to come back...." - and every other excuse on the planet. This place is not a US Post Office, despite what the sign says....it feels like an inept group of rude, government wasting tax dollars at the expense of the customers and taxpayers. I only ever come to a post office to stick envelopes in the slot...so I've never had to deal with the staff...not at this place anyway. So no complaints here. I don't even buy stamps at the post office...I buy them at the grocery store & they end up lasting me a year cuz, who mails letters anymore? Only when I have to. read more

Worst Post office ever. I called prior to going to ask about passport services and times. They told me till 3:30. Took off work drove down there only to be rudely told 3:00 was the end of passports. I wish I could give this place zero stars. The help here is typically grumpy and not helpful if you ask them for anything other than stamps or to purchase postage to ship a package. I went to drop off a few pre-paid packages and asked them for a receipt and they refused. Said they don't do that. I told them I needed proof that I dropped off these expensive and insured packages. After giving me a look that said, "too bad," she finally agreed to scan them in this one time, but still no receipt. This is not the first time they gave me the impression that they have no interest in helping out their customers. Avoid this place if you can. read more

This post office staff is so incompetent. I am always getting other people's mail in my PO Box, then to top it off they claim they delivered an over night envelope on the 7th which is not true at all as I check my PO Box daily around 11:00am. So this woman claims it must have been delivered after 10:30am, well if so wouldn't I have received it yesterday on the 9th since mail IS NOT delivered on Sundays? So this stupid woman asked the employee who swears she delivered this notice to my box on the 7th. Of course that employee will lie! (Duh) I guess I need to begin to take a video of the inside of my PO Box to prove up that I check it daily and I know I did and even run my hand inside to make sure I did not possibly miss anything. I was expecting it that notice. There is always a huge line out the door to even pick up mail. How frustrating, as I think this one just sucks and they never have enough staff on hand which is why the line is always so long plus it is very disorganized. I hope soon they do away with all the US Post Offices. I can't count how many times mail just disappears completely. I wish everyone would use UPS at least you know your mail or package will get from point A to point B. Yea it would be nice if most of them spoke better English so you could at least understand them. If you can avoid this location for the US Post Office than do so. Unfortunately I will re-think that box and go elsewhere for my service. read more

Tried calling them for 2 days now with no response, never picked up the phone. Went in store and they were more helpful than I expected. In my case, I was unable to receive much help with a lost international package in transit, but at least they tried. read more

This location is by far my favorite. Not only is it close to where I work; the staff is extremely nice and friendly here. They are fast and efficient workers. The area is neat, clean and bright unlike the other post office I normally go to in Garden Grove. This office is a bit on the small side but that's ok because there's never a super long line. read more

Renewing your passport? Beware of the horrible service you will receive at the Tustin Post Office. I am a single mom with two small boys and needed to renew their expired passports, so I made an appointment online. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and went over to check in with Deborah, who was processing passport application that day. She was not helping anyone else while I was there, with my children, waiting for my appointment. She never looked at my applications and rudely told me to stand in the general line and wait my turn. She told me it did not matter if I had an appointment. I stood in line. Then, I had to check in with someone else for my appointment. Then, I stood there in front of Deborah's working area waiting. She could clearly see and knew I was waiting for her. She had no one else there for passports. When she finally called me over she looked at my paperwork and told me I used the wrong color ink. I was so upset and my children frustrated. She could have said that to me earlier. I would have been done by the time she finally called me over. What a horrible way to treat your customers. The lack of compassion was worse. read more

My mailman is the laziest SOB. He shoves my mail and packages into my mailbox so that they are completely wadded up, torn, and crinkled like trash when I retrieve it everyday. And when I do have a package that's too large to place in the mailbox, he doesn't bring it to my doorstep. He leaves it on top of my mailbox, curbside. I'm so furious at what a !$&@! head this guy is. He also regularly mixes up our neighbors mail with ours. I don't know if he is disgruntled or just insanely incompetent. In all the places I've lived, I've never experienced problems with my mail carrier until I moved to this city. If anyone knows how I can file a formal complaint, please let me know. I couldn't find anywhere on USPS.com where I could do so. read more

If this Post Office is any indication of the Postal Service in general, no wonder FedEx and UPS are doing so well, Absolutely the WORST Customer Service of ANY organization - public or private. At least when you go to the DMV, you'll hear English. The counter lady laughed at the big gaping hole in the side of my package that I was picking up because "Business Closed - pickup at Post Office, attempted delivery Friday 3:20PM" My business was most certainly open at that time!!! No note left on door. I watched the package (online) go from Santa Ana to Newport Beach, back to Santa Ana and then finally to Tustin. I bought something online and was shipped with USPS. I kept tracking the package and said it was already shipped and recieved. So i went to check my mail, nope nothing. I thought maybe it'll take a few more days...As i waited about 4 more days nothing. I went to the postal office and told a worker there ive been expecting a package and i have the tracking number. Next thing u know...she comes out and says ,"the supervisor will be here to talk to you." AUTOMATICALLY i knew this was not a good sign! And like I imagined they lost my package. This is NOT okay! Not only is it a BIG dissapointment waiting on something youve really been wanting, its also a waste of time to drive down there for nothing, PLUS its $ lost that both the seller or i had no fault in!!! The manager is a Asian who employ Asians only. Few exception are old employs. So is like a private club, where it doesn't matter if you complain. Like the guy demanding cash, or the lady barely speaking English. I called in to complain of a package that shows as delivered on line but it was not. The manager talking with an accent, was making me a liar, saying that he trust the delivery worker, and if it shows delivered it was delivered .A week later, a neighbor two streets away showed up with the package. USPS should be privatized closed down. I am in support for that. read more

We had an appointment today to get a passport for our 4 year old daughter. Keeping a toddler entertained without a nap is pretty tough, but the employees at this branch were so understanding and put my daughter at ease. Tani especially was so nice to her even when she was not cooperating during the passport photo taking. It was a great experience and we could not have been happier. read more

If the people who work here are common throughout USPS offices it's no wonder USPS is bankrupt and forcing the tax payers to pay for all their union benefits and union protections from being fired. it's time to snip this cancerous government business off the tax dollar. this office doesn't even know how to do anything nor would let me use their USPS app to scan my packages, snatching away from me my own package. They also have called people up to the front and then they turn around and take their break leaving them standing there. Myself and three other people were moved out of line this morning to a separate line because we had an transaction that did not involve cash. In other words, we had a parcel to pick up from a card left by the postal delivery person. Why we waited for someone to show up to help us, every single person in line was helped, left and new people coming in were helped, etc. When I asked what the heck, why are we waiting and you can't help us, I was told "we have to keep the line moving, a supervisor has been called to help you." I said oh, heaven forbid the people in line can't wait but we can! He said we would have to go to the back to get the item and the line would get longer. That is terrible customer service and makes no sense what so ever! So we are not as valuable of a customer as those that are waiting in the other line because we have a no cash transaction!! AVOID THIS POST OFFICE AND SUPERVISOR MARGO!!! The postal service lost my certified letter. Seventeen days after sending my letter and no reply after eight days of my 'search for lost mail' claim, I returned to the post office of origin with a spring in my step and a spark of optimism. Supervisor Margo was called in with her post office expertise to assist me with my problem. Even before I could explain my entire situation she took my receipt and started walking away with no explanation. Confused, I quickly let her know that "no, I wasn't here to pick-up the letter, that the letter wasn't here, but stuck at a sorting facility in Playa del Rey, Ca" It was like watching Mo from The Three Stooges in the episode of 'Slowly I Turn, Step by Step', she turned back to face me with the evil eye. It was downhill from there. I explained my letter had been missing for over two weeks and showed no activity after August 1 on the USPS website using the tracking number. She told me I needed to phone the post office it was stuck at. I told her I had tried to phone both the Playa del Rey, Ca and Venice, Ca locations for three days at various times and no one ever answers the phone. Without courtesy or concern she threw my receipt back to me and told me she couldn't help me. When I asked how do I get my letter back she suggested I go get it at the location it's was at. Now it gets really good... I expressed that as far as I was concerned this was the post office's mess-up. She started to get blustery and puffed up and started screaming at me like a Howler Monkey in the lobby of the post office in front of other customers and her fellow associates. I told her it was an extremely important document and what next step would she take if she were me? And what did she have the nerve to screech at me? Wait for it... "If you stop talking I can go check on it". Yes, you read that correctly. Supervisor Margo, who using all her super supervising skills, who only seconds ago had tossed my receipt at me with no intention of helping me (and had yet to pick it up again on her quest to 'check' on it) was accusing me of being un-cooperative. Can you believe it readers? After seeing red, I screeched right back at her "it's not me keeping you, you had no intention of helping me seconds ago and don't even have the receipt now" My encounter with Supervisor Margo ended in a heightened argument, her walking away and ignoring me; the other postal workers, customers and me highly embarrassed and the three year old I was with asking me "why is she so mean?" And yes, I phoned Supervisor Margo's superior to report her meltdown only to be pacified with "I will take your complaint under advisement and speak with all my supervisors about being polite to customers". What? How many supervisors are being complained about and I don't give a flying fig about them, I only want Supervisor Margo singled out and shown as the epitome of the stereotypical, lazy, rude postal worker she is. And, according to her supervisor, there is a way to have my very important, life changing document returned to me that didn't require me having to take time off work, drive 50 miles in un-bearable Summer heat sitting in L. A. gridlock traffic. Oh, thank goodness for the speed and convenience of using the U. S. Postal Service. And to you, Supervisor Margo, bravo for your unwavering loyalty, incomparable work ethic and incompetent ability to uphold their stellar reputation for sub-par customer service with your inadequacies. read more
