I needed a 8ftx6ft birthday backdrop to be done in two days. I submitted a project quote here on Yelp and I had several responses from other printing shops including RedDot Printing. I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. I knew that I placed this order last minute and I knew I was an amateur with the design, but Z made my vision into reality. Z, thank you so much for everything. Your work is impeccable! So if you're new here, like me, don't expect good, welcoming and friendly service. When it was my turn I said hello to the associate, gave her my package and she scanned my phone, and gave me my receipt. Then it was my boyfriend's turn after. He said, "Hello, sorry I have a lot." She didn't say anything, no hello, no it's okay, how can I help, NOTHING....First sign of rudeness and bad customer service. If someone doesn't greet me, that's already a big no no & red flag. She starts scanning the codes and taking the packages, all this while she looks annoyed, like we're bothering her. After a few scans she tells him, "can you turn up your brightness." But with attitude. Once he noticed there were 2 people in line he told her that was it and we ended up going to the kiosk to do it ourselves. While we're at the kiosk when people would come in she would say, "Welcome." But not in a friendly way or ready to help. An older lady came in, went to the counter, said hello and tried to make small talk with the associate. The associate didn't greet her or go along with the small talk. No smile, nothing. I felt bad for the lady. Then other people start coming in and all of a sudden her attitude changes. She starts greeting them by name, asking how they're doing and being all nice. The other associate in the back also comes to the counter and starts small talk with one of those customers. I was like, wow. So now you know, if you come in here, just get straight to business, don't expect friendliness and good customer service....unless you are a regular & they know you. Unfortunately, this one is about 4 min from where I live, but won't be coming here anymore. Don't want to go somewhere where I feel like I'm bothering them and feel rushed. I'll drive the extra 5 min to the Woodburry location. Nicer, cleaner and better customer service.

I live in Irvine, so the most distance-wise choice would be to go to my nearest two Postal Annex locations, right? Wrong! I have found that a shorter distance does not equal excellent customer service and/or customer satisfaction. And I would like to add, I have gone to the two shorter-distance locations--- one of them as recently as today, May 2, 2015, and have been disappointed by the complete nonchalance of the employees. That experience has never been the case with Postal Annex No. 56. Why? Well, twelve years ago my daughter, who was barely twenty, came home praising the service of No. 56. At the time, she worked at the B&N across the street, and had to urgently send a package to a friend. My daughter only had her 1/2 hour lunch break to ship it, so that the package would arrive on time. She told me that the whole process only took a few minutes. But, based on my then-recent experience at a physically closer store, I could not believe that such a good customer service existed. About a year later--- when I needed to send legal documents at the last minute--- I decided to try that location. I thought to myself, why not? I had never been impressed by the other two locations, right? Anyway, I went to No. 56 and was flabbergasted by the helpfulness, knowledge, and efficiency of the management. I realized that I had become so used to nonchalance, that I was just astonished by people who actually were attentive and fast. They actualized realized that MY time was as valuable as THEIR time. Since then, my family and I go out of our way to give No. 56 our business. No. 56 is a GEM. read more

Good value for my money... I shipped a FedEx box and it was cheaper than the FedEx store ... rude service by man behind the counter , I also had a drop off package return and requested a receipt for proof that I dropped off my IPhone and the Caucasian male behind the counter with long hair made me write out my email on a piece of paper and refused to take the email verbally .. what a ridiculous joke! One more quick mention is that the store is so cluttered there are boxes EVERYWHERE at the front counter almost giving me no space to stand ! Also the gentleman behind the counter started publicly bashing our president with another customer with no regard of who is in the store! Glad it was almost closing so there was no line ... all in all was a good experience with the pricing but the gentleman behind the counter seemed like he needed training in public awareness. This is the second or third time I have came here and the service is usually fast. They have also never lost my packages and they have got there on time all 3 times. I am also posting this review post return and even though they did not want to provide a physical drop off receipt, my package (iPhone 16PRO) did still get delivered on time. Seems like a good place to ship overall, just needs a better employee behind the counter . Like seriously dude. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE : thank you for the update and saying you will improve ... I just left this place and...wow! The level of customer service was extremely high. The person behind the counter (possibly the owner) went out of his way to accommodate each customer. He made helpful suggestions which saved money and worked quickly to acknowledge and assist everyone. I went in for a notarized signature and was in and out in a few minutes. The notary price was slightly higher than the bottom rate I've found elsewhere, but well worth it. I was so impressed with my experience that I felt compelled to write this review as soon as I walked out. I'll definitely be back. read more

They work so hard to make sure everything you need to have shipped, copied, mailed, faxed, notarized... gets taken care of properly and on a timely basis. I came to this place to make copies. The receptionist/owner was very helpful and provided extra services that I didn't expect it. She was offering to punch holes on my copies. While she was doing my copies, I have a great time looking around to see a lot of cool stuffs that the store selling. These are one of a kind gifts. Been going there for 10 years plus,it doesn't get any better then this location. i can always rely on Mr.Shah's advice on mailing, especially regarding my Law Office documents,to the east coast,when time filings must be there on or before a certain day. Since the new owner took over, the level of professionalism and reliability has changed dramatically. My last three visits in November were all problematic. On one morning, the owner arrived about eight minutes late, and another customer was waiting with me. On the other two mornings, I arrived at 9:00 AM (their posted opening time) and the store was still closed at around 9:12 AM. I never saw the owner arrive on those days, and I eventually had to leave because I couldn't wait indefinitely. I have photos documenting these late openings. These late openings were not isolated mistakes. They formed a clear pattern over multiple visits. After failing to pick up my mail during these three visits, I stopped going in person because I could no longer trust that the business would open at its posted hours. Because of these repeated delays, I asked the new owner to confirm a 9 AM pickup time for my remaining mail. I wasn't asking for anything outside their posted business hours. I even gave a wide range of possible days. Despite that, my messages were ignored for two full business days, even though I replied within a couple of hours during their business hours. When I finally received a response, it was a single word "Monday" with no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the previous delays or missed openings. The communication was consistently cold, minimal, and unprofessional. Update: I went in on 1/26/2026 to pick up my remaining mail. The owner arrived at 8:58 AM, and I was finally able to collect everything. I asked for a one‑month refund because I was unable to access my mailbox on two separate mornings in November. I waited until around 9:10-9:12 AM both times, and the store never opened while I was there. When I requested a refund, the owner responded by saying, "I called you," even though I never spoke with her. Regardless of whether she called, the issue was that I physically showed up during posted business hours and could not access the mailbox I was paying for. The time I lost waiting outside cannot be recovered, and her response showed no understanding of that point. This experience is completely different from the reliable service I received for years under the previous owners. After 8-9 years as a customer, I ultimately decided to cancel my account because the service under the new ownership no longer meets basic expectations. Everything in this review is based on my actual experience, with photos and message timestamps to support it. I also want to note that the current 4.6 rating on Yelp was built over many years by the previous owners, George and Kay, who were consistently reliable and professional. My recent experience reflects the new ownership, not the service that earned those earlier reviews.

Parking is available in the street and in the back of the location, NOT in the driveway (there are signs that state this clearly). Service is excellent.
