I've been a customer here since 2016, and for many years everything ran smoothly under the previous owners, George and Kay. I never had a single issue with them. Since the new owner took over, the level of professionalism and reliability has changed dramatically. My last three visits in November were all problematic. On one morning, the owner arrived about eight minutes late, and another customer was waiting with me. On the other two mornings, I arrived at 9:00 AM (their posted opening time) and the store was still closed at around 9:12 AM. I never saw the owner arrive on those days, and I eventually had to leave because I couldn't wait indefinitely. I have photos documenting these late openings. These late openings were not isolated mistakes. They formed a clear pattern over multiple visits. After failing to pick up my mail during these three visits, I stopped going in person because I could no longer trust that the business would open at its posted hours. Because of these repeated delays, I asked the new owner to confirm a 9 AM pickup time for my remaining mail. I wasn't asking for anything outside their posted business hours. I even gave a wide range of possible days. Despite that, my messages were ignored for two full business days, even though I replied within a couple of hours during their business hours. When I finally received a response, it was a single word "Monday" with no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the previous delays or missed openings. The communication was consistently cold, minimal, and unprofessional. Update: I went in on 1/26/2026 to pick up my remaining mail. The owner arrived at 8:58 AM, and I was finally able to collect everything. I asked for a one‑month refund because I was unable to access my mailbox on two separate mornings in November. I waited until around 9:10-9:12 AM both times, and the store never opened while I was there. When I requested a refund, the owner responded by saying, "I called you," even though I never spoke with her. Regardless of whether she called, the issue was that I physically showed up during posted business hours and could not access the mailbox I was paying for. The time I lost waiting outside cannot be recovered, and her response showed no understanding of that point. This experience is completely different from the reliable service I received for years under the previous owners. After 8-9 years as a customer, I ultimately decided to cancel my account because the service under the new ownership no longer meets basic expectations. Everything in this review is based on my actual experience, with photos and message timestamps to support it. I also want to note that the current 4.6 rating on Yelp was built over many years by the previous owners, George and Kay, who were consistently reliable and professional. I got my fingerprinting for work done here on a Saturday which is awesome because lots of fingerprinting places don't have any Saturday hours. The lady who did my fingerprints was very sweet and helpful. There was a guy there who I guess was like a security guard kind of a guy just not really in a security guard uniform who was basically just there to make sure I don't cause harm or whatever but he was I guess not overtly aggressive or anything, I just thought maybe he didn't read the clues very well and could've been a bit more friendly towards me. The cost of the fingerprinting isn't relevant to Orange Hill Mailbox but it wasn't bad, at $39 per set. It was an interesting drive to a new area for me! read more

The Post office is small and "takes you back to a simpler time. I need to send a package through DHL and had no clue of how to get started. There were to people behind the counter that greeted me with kind smiles and they were both more than helpful. They showed me exactly what to do to ship my package internationally. They even wrote the number to call and sealed the package for me. I would truly recommend this post office because of the personal service, attention, and education they gave me. I can't recommend Orange Hill Mail Box highly enough!.  The staff (led by the owner George) is super knowledgeable and friendly.  They always greet their customers with a friendly smile, and there are no attitude problems here like I've seen at a lot of similar businesses. OHM isn't the closest package shipping place to my house, but I take the time to drive her for all my shipping needs because they are just so efficient, fast, and economical!  They've never lost or mishandled any of my packages, so I feel safe doing business here :-) read more

1st time trying to use this office. Showed up with a labeled and sealed return package to be shipped DHL. Was informed that they wouldn't take my package and I would need to call and make arrangements for pickup as they don't have DHL come daily. I understand it is uncommon since DHL is mostly international but it seems like they probably shouldn't be listed as a partner on DHLs website for this service. read more

Went here today to have something notarized. I called b4 going to make sure we didn't need an appt and was advised, no. The process was quick and easy and relatively inexpensive. The girl who took care of it was pleasant and nice, especially since I haven't been able to renew my driver's license. She gave me some useful information about it which eases my mind since I am going to be closing escrow soon and have to go through the process again. Thanks!!! read more

First of all let me say that there are more than one notaries at this location and Suzy has been wonderful, but I will not visit this location again and I'm glad I took my business elsewhere. I had a tricky document to notarize, unfortunately Suzy was not available. When I first walked in there was no greeting. I waited at least a couple of minutes while the man at the counter gossiped with a customer next to me. When I finally moved closer to the counter to get his attention (and this is a tiny place), he asked what I want, told him I was there for notary, he took a look at my document and declared it couldn't be notarized. In the meantime, he continued to gossip with the other customer like I don't exist. I patiently explained that I had similar documents notarized there previously, he said no way and told me to come back when I have what he needs, all the while, within earshot of the other customer, inferred that I was lying and treating me as if I were a criminal trying to talk my way into getting his autograph. Luckily, I remembered seeing the UPS store around the corner and figured that I'd have to pay more money, but I didn't care, so I pulled in. There were two people chatting in the store, seeing a customer walk in, they stopped the conversation immediately to greet me. I asked for the notary, explained the situation and she knew exactly what to do. She was knowledgeable and super friendly. So it's not that the document couldn't be notarized, it's that the Orange Hill guy didn't know how to do it. The problem is not that the guy didn't know how to notarize the document, it's ok, I'm not an unreasonable customer. It's the attitude that I could do without. BTW - I didn't have to pay more at the UPS store. For the same price as Orange Hill, I got free copies, they are open longer hours, and most important of all made me feel like they care about my business. read more

A hidden gem is right! I visited OHMB on the recommendation of a friend, and boy, am I glad I did! I have used them numerous times now for shipping and notorial services, and I will not go anywhere else. The service is second to none and the prices are very reasonable. I am a notary myself but since notaries are unable to sign their own docs, it's helpful to have a reliable and local notary, and since there are two at this location, one is always available. I would like to respond to the comment from "gotmylifeback" and say that I have never experienced anything like he/she described. I have also been to the UPS Store mentioned, and while the notary fee is exactly the same as OHMB, ($10.00 fee per signature, as is allowed by law) the shipping charges at the UPS Store are more than double what I was charged at Orange Hill for a near identical parcel. As I said, I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommended! Support your local small businesses! read more
