I have visited this UPS Store many times because it is conveniently located near my sons school. I…read moremostly only go there to return Amazon items. My household and business make a lot of purchases on Amazon each month so returns are pretty routine for me. My experience with the store has generally been average at best. Short lines, staff doing their jobs, and customer service that is never particularly friendly but usually acceptable. Today was different. When I walked in there was only one customer ahead of me. There was an older gentleman working who I have seen multiple times before. Out of the 2 3 employees he is consistently the least friendly. He gave me that "Oh it is you again" look as soon as he saw me. I had two Amazon returns. One was an HP ink cartridge Amazon sent me twice by mistake. That one just needed a barcode scan. The second was a set of flood lights that did not meet my needs. I printed the label and attached it to the box. He told me the label was placed wrong and should have been on a separate outer box. I mean that is fine and I appreciate knowing for next time. BUT the problem was not what he said. It was how he said it. He spoke in a condescending tone and started saying that Amazon return customers abuse the system because they know they will get their money back anyway followed by a smirk. He basically implied we are irresponsible for returning things even though it is part of Amazons system. This attitude is NOT OK. Amazon sets their own return policies and they pay UPS to handle them. He also knows nothing about my situation. Both returns were legitimate. Wrong ink sent twice and lights that did not fit my needs. BUT this is irrelevant, it is not his place to judge customers. I also find it funny that he said he cares about Amazon items because I have seen him toss Amazon return packages across the counter from a distance multiple times as if he does not care if the contents get damaged. Hey... if he has concerns about Amazons policies he should take it up with them not lecture customers just for using the service. I will not be returning to this location. There are plenty of other UPS Stores nearby and I would rather support a business that treats customers with professionalism and respect.

I felt embarrassed since it was my first time returning an item and even wanted to give an explanation for my lack of knowledge, but again you don't need to explain why you should be treated kindly from a service worker. I kept myself quiet since it was only a less than two minute interaction, which is insane that I was even able to pick up an attitude from him in such little time. I understand they deal with these type of people everyday, but it's also your job and I wasn't rude at all, just very confused which might've annoyed them. Service itself was fast, but maybe lose the attitude before they run into actual angry customers.

I came to this location to open a mailbox June 4th 1pm and unfortunately had one of the most…read morefrustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. The process began with confusion regarding mailbox pricing, fees, and identification requirements. The employee assisting me, Carlos, appeared unsure about the mailbox agreement, the forms of ID that were acceptable, and the fees that applied. The agreement I was given appeared to contain terms and pricing that did not match what I was being told at the counter. When I requested a copy of the agreement I was signing, I was told I would be charged 40 cents per page for a copy of my own signed agreement. When a copy was eventually made, only the first page was copied. After I requested a complete copy of the agreement, the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. During the discussion, Carlos became argumentative and called me a "rude ass." I felt verbally abused and harassed by the way I was spoken to. No customer should be insulted or spoken to that way for asking questions about a contract they are being asked to sign. After that interaction, I requested a refund because I no longer felt comfortable doing business with the store. I was told I would have to wait for management approval. During that time, another employee, Moesis, informed me that only a manager could approve the refund. The process continued to drag on, and what should have been a simple mailbox setup turned into an ordeal lasting approximately an hour, including time spent speaking with corporate customer service. While attempting to understand why the fees and agreement did not match, I was informed that the mailbox agreement had not been updated. I was told that the store manager, Carol Lee, had not updated the agreement being provided to customers, which may have contributed to the confusion regarding pricing, fees, and terms. I also had to specifically request the return of paperwork containing my personal information. I ultimately left without opening a mailbox and with serious concerns about the professionalism, training, management, and customer service at this location. Between the confusion over fees, the outdated agreement, the lengthy delay, and being called a "rude ass" by an employee, this experience fell far below what I would expect from a business handling customers' personal information and mailbox services. I hope UPS Store management reviews the conduct of the employees involved, the accuracy of the agreements being provided to customers, and the overall customer service practices at this location so that future customers do not have a similar experience.

She went to this store and bought a box and shipped it, apparently 3 day shipping on 10/3/25. It is expected to arrive to me tomorrow. She paid $161 for a box and shipping for this $50 item. I saw it at my Costco a few days later and knew she got it so I let her ship it. Had I known they were going to charge that much, I would have had her return it. They said she was there with another lady (she usually drives with someone else). Tell your elderly loved ones to watch out. They said there is nothing they can do now. Glad they made some money off of her. Feels like bad business. Thanks for your reply. You wrapped it up then Saif, "that will be $161.34." She didn't know what to say and she is a very nice lady so she paid. She said she was stunned and will go to her regular place by Vons. It was sent UPS and it hasn't even arrived yet. Was shipped 10/3 in the morning and today is 10/7 in the evening. Apparently you sold her a box. Can't wait to see how huge is it, but I see it is not itemized on the receipt. Again...seems you targeted an elderly woman who didn't know how to say no. At least you got that much from her! Sad.
