I have visited this UPS Store many times because it is conveniently located near my sons school. I mostly only go there to return Amazon items. My household and business make a lot of purchases on Amazon each month so returns are pretty routine for me. My experience with the store has generally been average at best. Short lines, staff doing their jobs, and customer service that is never particularly friendly but usually acceptable. Today was different. When I walked in there was only one customer ahead of me. There was an older gentleman working who I have seen multiple times before. Out of the 2 3 employees he is consistently the least friendly. He gave me that "Oh it is you again" look as soon as he saw me. I had two Amazon returns. One was an HP ink cartridge Amazon sent me twice by mistake. That one just needed a barcode scan. The second was a set of flood lights that did not meet my needs. I printed the label and attached it to the box. He told me the label was placed wrong and should have been on a separate outer box. I mean that is fine and I appreciate knowing for next time. BUT the problem was not what he said. It was how he said it. He spoke in a condescending tone and started saying that Amazon return customers abuse the system because they know they will get their money back anyway followed by a smirk. He basically implied we are irresponsible for returning things even though it is part of Amazons system. This attitude is NOT OK. Amazon sets their own return policies and they pay UPS to handle them. He also knows nothing about my situation. Both returns were legitimate. Wrong ink sent twice and lights that did not fit my needs. BUT this is irrelevant, it is not his place to judge customers. I also find it funny that he said he cares about Amazon items because I have seen him toss Amazon return packages across the counter from a distance multiple times as if he does not care if the contents get damaged. Hey... if he has concerns about Amazons policies he should take it up with them not lecture customers just for using the service. I will not be returning to this location. There are plenty of other UPS Stores nearby and I would rather support a business that treats customers with professionalism and respect. read more

The worker was very passive aggressive. I'm not a big complainer or anything but as someone who does work in customer service, it really doesn't take much to be nice to someone who just met you. I felt embarrassed since it was my first time returning an item and even wanted to give an explanation for my lack of knowledge, but again you don't need to explain why you should be treated kindly from a service worker. I kept myself quiet since it was only a less than two minute interaction, which is insane that I was even able to pick up an attitude from him in such little time. I understand they deal with these type of people everyday, but it's also your job and I wasn't rude at all, just very confused which might've annoyed them. Service itself was fast, but maybe lose the attitude before they run into actual angry customers. read more

They tried to charge me $600+ to ship my PC for ground services. I had to make sure if I heard that right so I asked again. They then said $300+. I checked the UPS site it told me it was supposed to only be less than $140. I went to another store and they only charged me $105 insurance. I'm not sure why this store tried to swindle me. read more

11;30 am today...no other Customers ... Associate doesn't say Hello not a word. I say Good Morning...he repeats. I show him my 2 scan codes...he scans them...gives me a receipt...Not a word ! I say you guys don't talk much at this location...he smiles. I leave. ONLY REASON I Use this location because its 5 minutes from my home. Otherwise I prefer to use the Brea and Huntington Beach Locations. This is my 2nd review of this Anaheim location. Had hoped they would improve on their Customer Service. I always come to this UPS because the team here is consistently welcoming, friendly, and reliable. The manager or owner is incredibly kind, and the whole staff creates a warm, positive atmosphere every time I walk in. There's a young woman who's always especially helpful. I don't know her name, but she deserves a shoutout too. I choose this location over any other because the service and hospitality are just unmatched. read more

Honestly, I have to update this review because it's even better. Danielle single handedly is exceptional employee and goes above and beyond for every single customer. I've witnessed her so patiently help every single tech inclined person coming through with amazon return issues. My son loves to take packages with me and remembers her as the auntie who gives out toys. Additionally, this is a one stop for everything I've needed such as notary, Amazon returns, and happy returns! The only UPS I go to. read more

Avoid this UPS Store if you can. Read all the 1 star reviews, they are 100% accurate. This is the only UPS Store near me that refuses to take packages from Amazon that are not packaged - even though Amazon says a package is not required and to just bring the item. They force you to package it up or buy a box from them. I went to a different UPS Store and they accepted the return without the weird push back. Very deceptive business practices here, I've just reported them to UPS corporate. I also think it's hilarious that they need their own employees to write 5 star reviews on here. read more

I can see why they have bad reviews.. They don't care! They do the bare minimum. The prices for items are way too overpriced that I would recommend taking the time to go to Target next door and get it there. Every time I've gone in there, the employees dread people, which makes me wonder if they have a high turnover rate. Also, they will close and lock up before closing time. And when you make eye contact with the worker, mind you, it's fairly close to closing time, (I know that can be frustrating for an employee to have someone come in close to closing time however my package was literally a drop off. It would take 10 -20 seconds top to scan. I would never go and be that person who needs 20 mins, so benefit of the doubt, the employee didnt know and couldve been javing a bad day), however, the worker will go to the back and ignore you. Then why advertise you close at a certain time if you will not stick to it? Change your hours if you're going to close early. Then I and others wouldn't be upset. I've gone to other UPS stores where they lock up at the actual time, so I was under the impression it would still be open. This is fruatrating because this spot was at a convenient location. But seems like they'll do things to not work. However, those employees make your business look bad. There's only been one man that I've interacted with who is kind, but the other negative or aloof attitudes overpower what little good is there. read more

I've used this store to ship many packages and NEVER had an issue. Fast, friendly and very seldom a wait of over 2 minutes due to other customers in line. I'm just a customer so if you don't believe me try them yourself. read more

I returned several items to this store today for my business going to Spectrum. Danielle was incredibly helpful, informative and fast!! She returned each item separately to prevent issues other customers had where they said an item was missing (this has happened to me with Directv but I kept my receipts). She quickly helped another drop off customer while I was fumbling with some of the electrical cords. She was very friendly and reassured me everything was addressed correctly and labeled my receipts. I do a lot of shipping for mine and my husband's companies over the years with UPS and she was splendid. Definitely worth mentioning for such hard work and great customer service. read more

I went in with somethings to ship and the girl at the front with tattoos started to help me pack my stuff into a box and begins taking my items out of my personal bag and packs them in the box when they weren't items I was going to ship, I had a carefully arranged basket of gifts that she took apart and stuffed in the box. I came here to ship boxes to a PO Box and the worker told me it was impossible and UPS doesn't even ship to PO Boxes. I told him that I had previously used UPS to ship to my PO Box and I even had the receipt from UPS to prove it. Then he told me that he could try to do it but it would be like $5000 to $7000. I asked him to try and then he began to say it was impossible and he couldn't do it. Went to another UPS and got my boxes shipped. Avoid this UPS at all cost. After two attempts to retrieve a work related package that I paid to have rerouted to this store out of convenience, I'm sorry to say that I've lost faith in the UPS brand and it's employees and will switch to FedEx. Raj, the store owner, has no soft skills (and after reading reviews dating back to 2015 it's clear he's a crook) and dismissed me after I showed him everything but my birth certificate and social security card proving that the package belonged to my company and I was there on behalf of my company to pick it up. I asked him, "Why would UPS allow me to pay for this package to be rerouted to this store, but not release the package to me?" I spoke with customer service and they instructed me to bring my work I.D. and it should be fine, but I was denied by Raj again and told what UPS customer service says is not what he accepts at his store. His store is separate from UPS; there LIES the confusion. If I knew the UPS store has a different set of rules than UPS I would've saved my time, money and headaches and had it held at the hub center. Now the package is going to be sent back to the sender because Raj didn't accept my forms of I.D., the inforeceipt left on the company door by the UPS driver or the proof showing I paid for the package to be rerouted to his store. If you have to set foot in this store, be warned that there's a strong, offensive odor that requires a mask greater than N95; a gas mask might work. I recommend the UPS store on Lincoln and Harbor next to Vons if you must go through UPS. That store offers free N95 masks to senior citizens. read more

This UPS store is a joke and clearly "customer service" is not in their vocabulary. First of all this UPS store will nickel and dime you for everything! I'm surprised they don't charger a "breathing store oxygen" fee. They want to charge two dollars for about a foot of shipping tape. Secondly I took an Amazon return here, the instructions clearly said, take to the UPS store where they will scan the code, PACK and ship the item for free. When I got there this very rude employee told me I had to pack it myself. I showed him the instructions I had and he said he didn't care. Last time I set foot in that store, I also filed a complaint with UPS corporate. Honestly I don't know how UPS is even associated with this place. read more

Came into UPS today to have my I-9 form notarized for out-of-state unemployment. The notary refused to notarize my documents, arguing that I needed a passport, which I DO NOT NEED as long as I have other forms of ID (which I pointed out repeatedly only to be argued with and HE REFUSED TO READ THE ACTUAL DIRECTIONS. HMMMMMM). Here's a helpful link since you apparently do not know what you are doing: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-acceptable-documents I WILL not be coming here again. Perhaps some education on notarizing documents and perhaps some basic reading comprehension skills are in order. Maybe also inject some service into your "customer service." Beyond rude. read more
