I went here to print color copies for my daughter's birthday tags for her party favor bags. I only needed 5 color pages, so I expected the total to be around $15-20. Since I don't know much about paper types or thickness, I asked the worker for advice. They suggested cardstock, and I agreed, thinking it was a basic option. To my surprise, the total came out to $32.33 for just 5 copies. On top of that, I had to email them the file, and it took 3 hours for the job to be completed. While the tags turned out fine, the cost and the long wait time made the experience disappointing. read more

I came in to have 60 5x7 cards printed. Total cost was $86. The next day when I picked up the cards, the cards were not printed centered. The lady at the front claimed it was because the file I sent was formatted as 8x10 instead. She initially said they would fix it for me for another $86 plus $12 resizing fee. I find this practice as horrible customer service. Why not give the customer a phone call to let them know the file was the wrong size and ask the customer to send in the correct file size or offer the resizing fee instead of printing out all the copies off centered and then expecting the customer to pay again for corrected prints? I declined and then she offered half off at $43 plus $12 resizing fee. Again I declined since I did not feel this was my fault. I would have gladly sent in the correct file size or just pay the $12 resizing fee if they bothered to give me a call. I have been going to Copy 4 Less for years and printed all of wedding invites and papers here and have recommended many friends. I will no longer be going here or recommending this place to anyone. read more

I walked in straight to self serve copy machines and the gal behind the counter asked me what I need and I told her I just need to make copies. She said "I can do it for you" After making my copies she charged me the full service price instead of the self serve price and when I asked her why since I was walking for self serve and she told me she can do them. She said "not once did you say you can do it" and not once did she apologize for the misunderstanding. I wouldn't care but I had to pay $30 more when I could have done it myself. I needed printed copies of four different documents, some just a few copies, some a few dozen, some single-sided, some double, some color... I called ahead to find out their turnaround time and pricing. The phone was answered quickly, and all my questions were answered as well. I was able to email my docs over, called ahead to let them know, and they had them ready within an hour. When I arrived to pick them up, the staff knew exactly who I was and what job was mine. Even though it was a little complex due to the different documents and numbers of them, I was rung up quickly and on my way. I will say that the website for this chain is terrible. It's extremely basic. It looks like it was set up in the 90s and has3nt been changed. It has no pricing or ability to upload documents or set up your print job independently. This forces customers to call the location they want to use and make a worker stop what they're doing to answer the same questions over and over. Even the official email addresses are free accounts, not company ones. It's very inefficient. The owners of the company need to get on this. It's not the fault of the individual locations, which seem to be franchises. Regardless, they're cheaper than other places, efficient, friendly, personable, and reliable. went to have 300 copies made. Go there often. Asked the counter guy to print me a sample because they sometimes print too light. He threw the paper down saying "you always ask for a sample, I'm not going to put up with this anymore. I'm not printing a sample." Words were exchanged about it and then he TOLD me to leave - he didn't want my damn business. I asked to speak with the manager - he said he was the manager! I asked to speak with the owner and he stated that he WAS the owner and he was throwing me out! More heated words - then a girl that worked there and witnessed the whole event walked over and politely asked me to please leave, and I did. Copy 4 Less once had 4 stores in the area, now they have two - looks like the Huntington Beach store will be the next to close because of the people they hire! read more

Nice and patient staffs! First time here but will be coming more often. Needed to print a color booklet and it was around .78 cent a page which is not bad at all! Compare to those big name stores. At first didn't save the file as pdf before emailing so it come are blurring but they were nice enough to redo it for me. You can also email them ahead to get your order ready and don't have to wait. The price was reasonable. 12 cents for double sided. The first machine was out of paper. However, their stupid machine could not handle a 72 page document. The original was single sided. It managed to jam itself twice, without completing the print job, and then it managed to mangle the original so badly that I had to cancel the unfinished job. And the B&W looks really gray. It looks like they have found a low cost toner that reminds me of unheated toner - a graphite color. I'll be back eventually - maybe. If my Epson ink jet printer dies. read more

Most of the staff seem to care about quality and customer service, except when I returned to show that the photo I had laminated did not seal properly, the person I got at the counter argued it was sealed, said he would do whatever I wanted, but did not offer a refund and argued with my proposed solutions.
