I can't get…read moreAmazon packages sent home because I'm never home (work) in time to get my stuff before package thieves claim them, so I've been utilizing Amazon lockers lately, especially with the nearby Amazon Fresh store in FV closed now. My usual Amazon locker was full, and AIM Mail Center popped up as a Amazon Counter. Cool! Once I received my package-ready-for-pickup email from Amazon, I made my way over the following morning to get my package. The store opens at 8am sharp - and the guy was on-time. He was friendly, prompt, scanned my email barcode and started to sort through the pile of packages behind the counter. No lines. No wait. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. In addition to Amazon package pickup services, there's a few walls of PMB (private mailboxes) - which are sorta like PO Boxes, except they can prob accept Fedex/UPS packages for you in that the USPS can't. Assortment of greeting cards, display signs, mailing supplies, copy machine services - you can even get your keys cut here. Not sure about the prices, but I imagine the value is that you can avoid the crowd at the post office if you ship here. Plenty of parking upfront depending on time and day - it's in the busy Albertson's shopping center with like 7 Kei Concepts restaurants.

Needed my fingerprint for a live scan services. Called & asked if I need an appointment. Was told…read moreno. Came in... two men working slow as a snail. Noted the customer in front of me had over 10 boxes. But each box took him like 5 minutes to scan and print a label. ‍ I was on my lunch break so ask them how long it will be. They replied: "I am next!" .... Omg...20 minutes later, he's still helping the customer who came before me and on his 4th box. OMG!! I asked again how long do they think it will be and both men laughed & one replied "soon"....So I left. All I ask was some courtesy communication like "this may take 20 minutes if you would like to wait. Or we will be able to help you in 10 minutes". Why does this seem like a big ask to just say one or 2 extra lines to communicate with your customers. My UPS guy has scan in 10 boxes for me in 5 min. This facility is 5 min per box if u r lucky. SLOW AS a SNAIL!

I then found Star Box & Shipping through Google search. Not only did they have the large-scale supplies I needed, but Ken went above and beyond by offering to look at my gear and handle the entire packaging and shipping process himself. To top it off, the shipping rate was incredibly reasonable given the weight and dimensions. Skip the big chains and come here, especially if you have a complex or unique request. I even found all the colors to the Papermate Bright and Metallic colors. I also found these routers, modems, and even modem router combos. However the boxes are empty, and I don't know what kind of policy they have in this store for why their boxes are empty. But in all honesty, I'm surprised to see how this place sells routers that are a combo of router and modem. I also love how this place sells prescription-free hearing aids. They are so professional and it's great to know the local DHL drop off location is reliable. I often ship DHL but the headquarters aren't nearby so this is a great value added. P.S. I hear they plan on offering free coffee too which is such a nice community building touch.
