They lost a customer over $1 Below is the reason they lost me a customer, and below that is my thoughts on the business otherwise. I was here in December of 2024 went to the parking lot and showed my wife what I printed. She suggested I print it a bit larger so I returned, printed, and was told the price of the print along with the fee for using the computer. I told the man (Tom) that I paid to use the computer earlier (5 minutes ago), and he said I had to pay to use the computer again since I left the store. I paid and left the store in silence being both frustrated and bewildered at such a strange rule. The next month I had more printing to do and thought I would give Cheap Copy Center an opportunity to make things right. As I explained the situation to this woman she interrupted me as she was evidently told about it (or overheard it). I then explained one of the two things was going to happen: 1) She could return the $1 computer fee, and I would continue being a customer. 2) She could refuse to return the $1, lose out on future business, and I would leave reviews of my experience there. As soon as I mentioned returning the $1 she interrupted restating her rule, and as I explained the second option she again interrupted essentially saying that's fine. So due to her unwillingness to retain a customer because of their unreasonable rule, Cheap Copy Center has lost out on my future business for $1. Congratulations. Other than this Cheap Copy Center has good prices, though they are a bit complicated and subject to change. If you have to use the computer it is $1, but the price increases after 15 minutes of use. Their cheap prices only exist after you print a certain amount, so if you print just one or two you will pay more. There is no website so you have to either trust what you find online, read all the signs they have posted in the store, or ask them a bunch of questions when you show up. The employees do not seem very knowledgable on how to use the computer, so many things you will have to figure out on your own. Also (at least Tom) seems very worried about germs as he asks people to use hand sanitizer before they touch anything. Essentially the saying that describes Cheap Copy Center is "you get what you pay for", though you may also get less than you pay for. read more

The business was not open on a particular day as was displayed in their hours, and as a result my entire family was deported because we were not able to print out very important forms in time. However, this setback was remedied when I returned on a separate day; the savings that I have been able to incur from this establishment -- savings otherwise seized by greedy college book-printing corporations -- have made all of my losses worth it in the end. The place was very small and shabby. It appears to be a minor daytime side business thrown together by a random Vietnamese family to make a few extra bucks. But the end experience for the customer cannot be understated: you enter to print paper at an amazingly economical (affordable, low-cost) expense, and you should be able to leave having done so. $1 to use the computer to print and only 3 cents per black & white copy! No frills print shop that has three computers for self service so you don't have to worry about waiting around. Arrived at 1PM and was able to immediately use a computer to print five copies. The owner was very helpful and instructed me how to use the printers. He also only charged me $1 and gave me the prints free of charge! This was an absolute steal and a refreshing change to expensive services like staples. Spoke to nice gentleman/manager the day prior and he remembered me from the phone when I came in on Saturday the next day, The store closes at 3, but he guided me to use the computer and print from their computer a very big project I needed in black and white standard one-sided over 2250 pages. This went past closing time, and the gentleman and his wife were very kind to accommodate my needs. In addition, I needed binding which they stated extra time to help me with as well. Time menu is off most days; i.e., may not open until Noon many days! The time changes happen way too often for the business to be reliable. I've been there when they weren't open and I've been there before 3:00 p.m and they have been closed. Many times people are standing outside waiting for them to open. They don't seem to be a reliable or stable business, although the prices are less expensive than other printers. Also, their "policy" if there is any is to have people use THEIR printer(s), and their own time, plus pay the company. I've read text from dates February, March, and May 2023 and I can hardly believe what I've read. Must be a mom-and-pop store with no other help. I don't know how they keep their business open. I actually called since it has been so long and someone answered immediately; they were nice and friendly and answered all of my questions. Cash only!!! I decided to come to this place because it is the cheapest copy center (like their business name) in Orange County. Thus, the price, of course, is very affordable. Only 3 cents a page for a black and white copy. To use the computer, they will charge you extra $1 for the first 10 minutes or waive if your total is $10 or more. It is located in a plaza, so there are many parking lot. Overall, the service was so quick, the owners were very nice, attentive and helpful, and the price was incredibly cheap. There's honestly nothing to complain about this place. Cheap Copy Center definitely deserves their five stars! Their prices are super affordable. I came in to print 3 sheets of paper in color and it totaled to $1.60 ($1 fee for printing under $10 worth and 20¢ per page for color). Service is super quick! All you do is speak to the owner and she'll have you seated to a computer. From there, you pull out what you need to print and then you confirm with the owner on what needs to be printed and... viola! Your necessities are printed, you pay, and you're good to go. :) I honestly spent about only five minutes in the store to get everything finished. I've also used this place years ago in high school to print out a bulk order of winter grams (are those still a current thing for high schoolers??? As a struggling college student, I wish I knew about this place years ago so that I could've saved my money on textbooks by just copying it all and then returning it. My only issue last here (definitely not a major one but it was something that I noticed) is that the paper tended to smell like it was sprayed with sharpie odor and the other being that the book binding can be a little finicky. I really wish I could give this place more stars. They are unbelievable. I needed a book copied and it is about 240 pages. The rate is three cents per black-and-white and $.20 per colored page. I dropped the book off towards closing time. She told me I could pick it up the next day. she calculated the price right then and there for me. For this particular book it was $10.40. And they do the pages front to back which I was not expecting. It was really busy when I came that day but she helped me right away and gave me a pick up slip. my boyfriend picked it up for me the next day with no hassle. When I had called them they had a 5000 page minimum, but I only had 2000 pages to print. I called and asked because I needed it ASAP in hopes that they could accommodate. They answered and they were so helpful and willing to do it for me. I went there and their quality is so good. They printed the cover page in color for free and made everything look so nice. The lady that helped me also was asking me what it was for and wished me luck on my test. Also, a very reasonable price per page at 3 cents a page.
