Before using the car and returning it, I filled the gas tank to the same level as when I first used it and returned it. I drove a total of 29 miles and returned the car with exactly the same amount of gas as the first time I used it, but the Uhaul woman later marked it under halfway and charged me $7.42 for gas. After I complained about this, they said they would refund me but refused to apologize. I'm very upset at how disrespectful Hhaul is to consumers. It's not about the $7. If you're wrong, admit it and apologize, not keep making excuses.

They both looked at myself and the other customer and asked the manager politely to please wait while they finish working with us. She continued to just stand there, never once looked up and greeted either myself or the other customer, didn't awknowledge us in any form and just stood between the two workers waiting for them. One of them handed her what she was looking for and she stomped off. Later on Wednesday, 11/19, I called looking for a vehicle exchange and she was rude on the phone didn't even bother attempting to help me and just said "I can't help you" I explained the website was letting me make another reservation, but I was just looking to extend my current reservation and exchange vehicles and she proceeded to state "it will just get denied once you put the request it, when you book it is just a waitlist not a guarantee of anything" she didn't bother to look for options or find a way to help at all. I use this location almost on a monthly basis and Trey and his partner are always etremely helpful, this is now the 3rd time the manager has had attitude and lack of customer service and while I am finally writing a review. Follow up: My husband went in person to switch out the vehicle and was given 3, 7 passenger vehicle options.....was told as long as it is returned by Thursday (which i told her on the phone is what I needed) it was no big deal for him to exchange the vehicles.

The manager (Jose Godinez) said that "a customer made changes to their reservation online and it's throwing everything off." Which is fine, changes happen. But, the stupid part was that they didn't have the decency or the common sense to call me and let me know that the van was not available. I had to find out when I got to the 920 W. Commonwealth location. There were 4 people working when I arrived and no one was able to make a call to notify me that my reservation was not available. So, Jose Godinez tells one of his incompetent children that was helping me (a black kid) to find another van that's available. So, what does he do? He decides to sit there and socialize and chat with his other two coworkers instead of looking for another available van. He was literally talking about things not related to finding a van. The little kid couldn't care less about finding another van. I quickly go on the app and see that there's a 10' van available just down the street on North Euclid in Anaheim. So, I ask the rep if he could place a hold on it. He says he can, but it's a one-way only reservation, meaning that I'm not able to return it to the same location... WHAT?!!! WTF, DOES THAT EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE? So, I asked him if he can call and place the van on hold. He calls and hangs up. Says no one is picking up at that location. As soon as he hangs up, literally the very next second I call the Anaheim location. Scott immediately picks up the phone and advises that he has a 10' van available for rent. I drive 5 minutes down the street and I am immediately serviced by Scott. Nothing but INCOMPETENT children working here that barely have enough training to know what customer service means. We moved from a 2b2ba condo and the team was communicative and helpful during booking and even flexible with my last minute changes the day before when we decided to add a 3rd mover to our reservation. Carlos x2 and Bruno called me when they were about 20 minutes out from arrival, they worked efficiently and were extremely respectful of property and all items we were moving. They took direction well, were beyond professional and courtesy and truly made the experience an enjoyable one.
