2-21-2026 I arrived a little before 2 PM, and there appeared to be a long line. But, a lady before me was polite enough to tell us that one was only for passports. There were maybe 5 people ahead of me. I was able to be in and out in about 30 minutes. Around 2:25 PM, people were crowding inside. One booth was partially reserved only for passports. I decided to come here since most locations are either closed on Saturdays or have very reduced hours. I even visited a tiny USPS in Whittier recently that felt super deserted. The downsides are the fact that it is stinky inside (old people funk), and the person behind me got so close as if she was trying to cut the line. But glad I found this place, as it was pretty much the only option for me, due to the availability of hours. My COA was pending and got denied. The employee let me get back in line 3 times, however. I had to fill out a form in person, since the online application was timed out. Hopefully, the system sorts my mail correctly, since the e-mail they sent was extremely insightful. Employees are very kind, and apologized to customers for the wait. They also have ratings for service. FYI: It seems they are also out of tape today. Also, it was really confusing to exit the parking lot since I think they're only three ways to go out and I believe two lead you through residential alleyways. read more

I came here to ship out a package and get a receipt for it. It took me some time to find one that still had paper in it. After scanning the package I put it in the box. I put in a request for a new key for my home mailbox almost 2 months ago and still have not received it. I've visited USPS literally 4 times to check the status of my new key, but they keep saying to check back the following week. Constant mail theft at this location. I had to mail a payment to the city of Santa Ana for my business. Walked inside and dealt with the worker at the counter and mailed my check. Within hours someone went to the local branch and deposited my check into their account.. how can this be when I literally handed the envelope to the worker inside and it's in thier possession. Also have mailed several packages in the past that I walked inside the location and mailed in person. The packages never left the location ever according to the tracking. Scummy people working here clearly. Beware....Now dealing with fraud department wasting tons of time and the city has a lean against my business due to not receiving payment. Thanks!!!! read more

You can really, REALLY see the impact of the horrible job Louis DeJoy is doing while in charge of this place. Every corner is cut, and despite me visiting this location to do my part to keep the venerable US Postal Service afloat, I may have to just give up and go to the FedEx which is closer to my house, even though they're pretty terrible themselves. This place is so understaffed due to the budget cuts. I also don't see anyone under the age of 60 working the counter, which helps contribute to this place moving so damn slow. I've never been in here with a line of fewer than 6-7 people, and there's always only 1 or 2 people working. Now that they refuse to let the self-service machines print out paper receipts, my only option at this location is to deal with the slow line. (Why not just email a receipt? Maybe because I don't trust a business that is literally cutting EVERY corner possible to deal with protecting my privacy.) Some of the staff here are taking the pinch every penny attitude from the top way too enthusiastically, charging to use tape from their office, attempting to sneakily charge you the higher rate and pretend that they didn't hear you asking for a different one, or other such things. It's so sad to see just how far the US Post Office has fallen due to sabotage from the top, and it's definitely trickled down to the service at this spot. read more

I came to collect and urgent recorded delivery letter from this post office. I went to the window and pressed the bell twice and was being ignored by the staff who were literally standing right next to the window. This is easily the slowest post office I've been to in Orange County. If you need any service at the front booth during after-work hours in the late afternoon/ evening, expect to spend a minimum of 15-25 minutes in line. The postal workers there are generally friendly but they move at a snail's pace compared to other offices I've patroned. There could be 8+ people in line and I've witnessed their workers engaging in pointless small talk with customers instead of making an effort to clear the line. I went here to pick up a package that was missed because it needed a signature. I was told to go to the window for pick up and ring the doorbell. Well, the only helpful person was the custodian who was the only person who acknowledged that I was even standing there. I rang the doorbell and was ignored. The custodian came by to ask if I was already helped, and I told him no. So, he said to ring the bell. I rang it a second time. Then I waited for maybe five minutes and rang it AGAIN. The custodian passed by again and saw that I still was not being helped, so he went and got someone for me. If they're busy, I understand. But at least ACKNOWLEDGE that there's a customer there instead of everyone just passing by and not making eye contact. read more

Went in for renewal of passport . There was a long line of customers with only 2 service personnel . No signs , instructions re passports and the passport application form boxes were empty . Finally found another line for " special services " with no person behind the desk . We lined up here and a staff person Deborah came after about 10 min wait . We were third in line with 3 more behind us . When she started processing the person before us , she told the rest of us that an appt. Is needed to see her . I tried asking her if they accept applications in this branch ( not to mail them ) because that's basically what we wanted to know but she just rudely said we have to get an appt for our questions to be answered . Frustrating ! Simple Written signs on the walls on passport processing , or Yes , this branch can accept and take passport pictures and available forms in their respective boxes would have helped customers a lot ! My accountant has a office right down the street. She told me to come here to mail out my taxes to the IRS. In the middle of the day it's not very busy here. Iij was inland out in about 10 minutes. I pay $160 a year for a P.O. Box and now all of the sudden they aren't open after hours. I work weird hours and I'm not the only person that does. I went to the post office without an appointment to submit an application for a passport. I was unfamiliar with the process and very stressed to get it done on time, before an upcoming vacation. An employee named Jessica, was extremely understanding and helped squeeze me in to get it done, although they were fully booked with appointments that day. Simon, behind the counter helped me process my application quickly and efficiently, and both employees were both so kind and helpful. The cost of having my PO box here has more than doubled since I got it. Break ins are common despite the Tustin PD being a block behind it. Doors lock at 8 pm now. They rarely use the locker system for your packages which is frustrating because those of us who work can't always make it down here by 5 pm to spend half an hour trying to pick up our packages. The guy with dark hair and glasses rude always! Told me Saturday at 1:40 they were closed. I told him I purposely checked the time they close on line. He said " well next time we are closed at 1:30! Honestly hands down the worse post office. I have a small business and I ship a lot, I've recently shipped out of this location and my customers are complaining that their candles are broken, shattered. They take pics and have sent me the proof, they are local from Tustin, I just dropped off some boxes and this Asian older man got mad that he had to scan more boxes, then he threw my boxes , I told him wtf is his problem and why he's throwing my boxes like that, he ignored me. Don't get all the negative reviews. I have been here 3 times and each time it has been a smooth experience 1. Passport - quick in and out with appointment, professional staff that knows how to deal w kids when taking their pics 2. Mailing packages- helpful staff advised me well on selecting a cost effective method of shipment which was less than half what Ups would've charged 3. Lines are never that long if you plan ahead. I really hate the risk of sending something to someone and it being given to the wrong person/people especially when there's no chance you're given a full refund for everything you purchased. Its like throwing money down the drain. This post office is unreliable and will never be used by me again. The delivery drivers are trained poorly and don't care about their job at all. I made an appointment a week prior for my daughters passport renewal and photos, I arrived before my app time and there was a line for passports. There was only one female working on the passports with another customer. Not sure what the situation was that took so long but I really tried to remain patient, given the fact that for renewing a passport for a minor requires both parents, dad had another appointment to go to at 1. We did not get helped until 1 pm, by this time I was already frustrated and annoyed at what the whole wait up was. By this time they had to bring in someone else to help out for passport appointments as someone else was already waiting in front of me when I arrived. The rest of the staff was helpful and kept reassuring we would get helped, but this doesn't remedy the fact that the whole point to make an appointment is to get helped at that time or at least around that time, not a whole hour past. I would suggest having more team members trained to jump on to assist with passports rather than saying that they can't help because there's only one person trained. read more

My PO box got broken into and the contents stolen. No surprise since the Post Office doors are open 24/7 at this location, and I doubt they even have quality cameras. Even though this post office is literally blocks away from the Police Department, and this being a Federal crime, that wasn't enough to deter the criminals. It's an ongoing issue at this site, as I've seen in previous months other mailboxes that were opened. Absolutely not secure, and not worth the 40% price increases that USPS has been doing every year for an renting a PO Box. read more
