Efficient location that generally has shorter lines and two self service kiosks. Only negative is it closes earlier than other locations. Plenty of parking.

Unpolite staff, can't convey information correctly, high prices, Self Chec doesn't work and doesn't scan QR codes.

There were maybe 5 people ahead of me. I was able to be in and out in about 30 minutes. Around 2:25 PM, people were crowding inside. One booth was partially reserved only for passports. I decided to come here since most locations are either closed on Saturdays or have very reduced hours. I even visited a tiny USPS in Whittier recently that felt super deserted. The downsides are the fact that it is stinky inside (old people funk), and the person behind me got so close as if she was trying to cut the line. But glad I found this place, as it was pretty much the only option for me, due to the availability of hours. My COA was pending and got denied. The employee let me get back in line 3 times, however. I had to fill out a form in person, since the online application was timed out. Hopefully, the system sorts my mail correctly, since the e-mail they sent was extremely insightful. Employees are very kind, and apologized to customers for the wait. They also have ratings for service. FYI: It seems they are also out of tape today. Also, it was really confusing to exit the parking lot since I think they're only three ways to go out and I believe two lead you through residential alleyways.

An employee quickly assisted me by providing the correct form and guiding me through the process. There was barely any wait, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Efficient, straightforward, and hassle-free--exactly what you hope for in this kind of errand.

In terms of customer service, this was one of the best USPSes I've been to. However, I am puzzled…read moreby how the line can be way out the door and they still only decide to open two reception desks. The clerks are doing what they can to keep the line open, asking mini services they can preform if there is a hold up with their current client. I have to say too that the public needs to be mindful of the people around them and should conduct all of their finished packaging and mail writing before entering the line... or at the very least before the service desk. If we all work together, we can make the service a lot faster and happier for everyone. Thank you.

She didn't even stop and see if she caused any damages. She sped away. The parking lot has a lot of dead angles where people who shouldn't be driving come and go. Ahhh the beauty of Irvine shines through here quite brightly. It's not so much because of the poor service rendered by the actual postal workers that makes this location so terrible. It's the behaviors of the customers that causes a lot of delays and frustration. I am still experiencing secondhand embarrassment days later. Some are not the most prepared with their stuff before their turn. Like not having the address needed to send the package. As always, there's always someone who tries to haggle, complain about the prices, or try to get the whole transaction redone to switch to a cheaper no frills option. It's honestly astonishing to me how little concerns those expensive car driving people have for others once inside. Very low class and one of many reasons why I absolutely abhor Irvine area anything. Talking loudly on the phone and failing to realize it's their turn for example. Or trying to cut in line even though there's a long line of people. My goodness. I am just gonna stick with my neighborhood postal office. The amount of stress incurred by coming here is not worth it.

For the notary, they were careful and detail-oriented. When it came to my baby's passport photo, they initially suggested taking the photo at home since it can be easier for babies. However, when I arrived, they were more than willing to try taking the photo there--and my baby did just fine. The photo was printed within about ten minutes and it cost $18.31 for two copies of 2x2. This price is reasonable compared to other places. The staff member who helped us was very kind and patient with both me and my baby. I also noticed they assist with TSA PreCheck processing, which is super convenient. The location is clean, the staff are helpful, and I highly recommend Postal Annex for notary services, passports, and shipping needs.

I had heard that PostalAnnex specialized in multiple sizes passport and visa photos (Postal Annex came recommended to me for Chinese Visas - you can even pay them to fill out and submit the application for you! But I opted to do it myself but I still needed the photo). I called just to make sure and they told me they indeed do passport and visa photos (including for China) and when I asked if I needed to make an appointment - they said "no you can just show up anytime during opening hours but it's good to come at least 15 minutes before closing because the whole process takes about 15 minutes) When I showed up there was plenty of parking (it is located on the intersection of Culver and Irvine Center Drive in the main shopping center across from the McDonalds. There was also a sign on the window advertising that they do photos and the Chinese Visas so that was a good sign. The man who took my photo was very nice and knowledgeable - I liked that he seemed very experienced and had done a ton of these before. I also liked how he showed me my photo to make sure I liked it for final approval before he just printed it. You give them your email address for the digital copy and then you also get 2 printed photos for $24.99 which came to about $26 after tax. I just waited in the store (they have 3 chairs you can wait in and have a fridge with drinks to purchase too - or you can walk around the center while you wait). The woman Amrit who works there was also very reassuring and friendly and super helpful as was the man (whose name I didn't get). I chose this location because the other Postal Annex has received some negative Yelp reviews for unfriendly service but at this location (15333 Culver Dr) the service was OUTSTANDING and I will be coming here for all my future passport and visa photo needs! (They also do mailing, have mailboxes, etc.)

She joked alittle, and I loved it. I wish all the tellers knew their stuff like her, and made the atmosphere more enjoyable. An older lady got really cranky/upset with her and I watched the whole thing play out. IMO, the customer seemed dead set on being a hater of this employee. Anyhow, if only all employees could be more like Elaine, I'd enjoy waiting in line and coming in more! (We had a package we missed delivery on, so had to come get it.) Thanks Elaine for being efficient and a ray of fun sunshine. I took a photo so if you see her there and say hi if you see her. Hopefully you too leave alittle happier than when you came in.

So even though I got there at 8:05 am and I was by far the first in line I had the misfortune to stand by the door they opened second (outside door) so I ended up being 7th in line and the people that got there after me at the inside door got in first. The lady employee literally walked by me standing at the door to open the other door! Frustrating! TIP: at least today December 2025 they open the INTERIOR door before the exterior door. Unlike some locations that are appointment only for passports you can do occasional walk ins here but check the days/times first since they are very specific! Also be warned: if you show up after hours and want to drop off mail in the outdoor drive thru mailbox: you CAN'T because they lock the exterior mailboxes (you know the big blue ones) after hours now to prevent mail theft!
