Other post offices have nicer customers conversation about where items where with people in line felt awkward .... I was not able to get my place in line back RUDE!!! However, the staff was very courteous. I explained my experience to the woman in the front and she said next time just come back up to the front so I wouldn't lose my place in line so while some of the customers were a bit rude, the staff is efficient and kind! the line moved quickly both times that I was in it. I would definitely come back here. As I walked out, there was a nice gentleman that held the door for me. Shivery is not dead. read more

I hate having to come to this location when my mail is held. When it's busy there is often a line that is so long it wraps around the lobby and the inside of the building. The staff often just has an empty, no-nonsense attitude, provides terrible customer service and rude. It's so unpleasant because the line extends down the hallway so the people in line are standing right next to the mail-pickup window and you can hear everyone's conversations with the staff lol. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service and unbelievably rude staff. All I did was politely ask a simple question and was met with attitude and mockery. read more

Went to drop off some packages with a QR code. A friendly woman approached me and redirected me to where I could drop them off at the self service instead of waiting in line. That girl cleared the rest of the line herself with quickness and politeness!! Redirected everyone. I believe her name was Alycia (I know I spelled that wrong) read more

I would rate it a 0 if I could. Every time I put a hold on my mail, they do not hold it, but rather, deliver it still daily. I have tried both online and in person. When I try to call they never have any availability to speak with a person and place you in voicemail hell. These folks are incompetent. read more

So today around 4:?? Pm i pulled up to the drop off mailbox There was a person taking the mail out of the mailbox as I was putting my mail in the slot one of my pieces didn't fit through as the slot was to thin Unfortunately I wasn't able to get out of my car and i asked the person in a very polite voice if they wouldn't mind grabbing it for me. I honestly didn't think they would but i thought possibly due to my situation they might.... Unbelievable response I got Instead of " I'm sorry " I'm not able to " I got are you serious you want me to stop and grab your mail you can put it in the drop ok that was being nice how i wrote it.... This employee was so rude and how she looked and talked to me was so very unprofessional So in a calm voice I just said thank you and You have a wonderful day and drove away.. I definitely have never had that kind of treatment from any post office before... you might want to think about the kind of people you hire I definitely will never stop at that post office again read more

Kenneth sandell is by far one of the worst supervisors there is. I would stay away from this branch. He has a lack of communication skills and the ability to understand. He does not care about the income of the usps corporation. He cares about going home. Talking with other supervisors we are being told they are going to accommodate our needs. 30 minutes later is a nasty email from Kenneth. As a supervisor you would think he would care about business not his own arrogant needs. I would post zero stars if I could. read more

Not sure who yall have been hiring for the third party delivery, but they keep mixing mail up. I went straight to my mail box when I got the message that said it was delivered and nothing was there. This is a constant issue. And of course it's for something that was expensive and that I've been waiting a week for. read more

You dont even knock on the door to deliver a package, the missed you tag was already filled out before you walked up to my door and put in mailbox. So you expect me to go to the post office to pickup package. And by the way he didn't even have a package. I can provide the video from 3 different angles if you would like. read more

Fine service if you're in person, but phone service is awful. It either just rings, or someone picks up, and then disconnects you. Ridiculous. It happened a few times in a row. I sprained my foot and can't go down there, answer the phone for your customers. read more

Busy location in Roseville Except for mailbox drop offs I haven't used the post office in ages since I ceased selling on eBay many moons ago when I was a stay-at-home mom. That child is turning 19 soon so that gives you an idea how long ago it was when I used the post office. I was contemplating in doing this transaction during my 30-min lunch schedule. I went. 10-min drive to this location: I arrived at the post office and saw the line -holy moly- the line wrapped around where the private P.O. Boxes (mailbox rental) were. I decided to just chance it and hopefully there were enough clerks inside to handle the crowd. I made my way to the queue. 7-min standing in line: Surprisingly, the line went pretty fast! [yay!] and before I knew it I am being assisted by a postal worker. There were two of them at the window at the time. I inquired if the box I used was the most cost-saving for me and she said yes so I was glad that I didn't have to take it back with me and re-package. It even included insurance and tracking # for free. I got lucky in this experience as I'm sure it isn't always this way. 10-min back to work: I made it back to work within my lunch break... They process US Passport applications in this location also. This post office gets crowded and a long line but the postal workers were very pleasant and helpful. I was given an estimated delivery time of 5 business days to the 808 (Hawaii). Mailed on Friday and recipient received on Monday. That was fast! Review #2164 read more

I am not sure why this location has so many poor reviews. I have consistently had good experiences at the Sierra Gardens location over the years. During the Christmas season, I have mailed dozens of packages out from this location and have never had an issue. The staff working the counter have been helpful and efficient. My favorite thing about this location is that the lobby is open 24/7 - if you need to buy stamps or ship a package, you can do that at any hour of the day via the self-service kiosk. It has been super convenient since I am not able to get to the post office during business hours due to my work schedule. read more

The people at this post office have a major attitude problem, it's really sad , It piss me off and the thing is I can get one right back ain't gonna let them talk to me like I'm their child for my own package that the delivery driver never tried to deliver and lied and said I asked for it to be delivered to the post office get it together. I would also like to add that I waited on the phone for over an hour as well to get a rude woman on the phone acting like she is in charge of me ma'am have several seats because who you talking to like a fool ? Before I cuss her out I had to just say forget it . read more

In the past I've had horrible experiences here. I could never get ahold of anyone on the phone, I'd wait in endless lines. I dreaded signature required deliveries from USPS because I knew that mean I'd have to deal with them directly now. However, for the first time I called in and got a human on the phone within a minute. The guy was able to find my package (there was an address issue on the package) and he made sure I'd be able to pick it up the next Saturday. Hopefully this is how things go with this USPS store from here on out and this wasn't a one time lucky incident. Maybe 2024 is the year this store gets it together and hires enough staff to operate such a heavy traffic store read more

The staff here is phenomenal! My niece left her glasses at my house this weekend and no one realized it until my family was well on their way home to Nevada. I told them I would overnight them this morning since she needs them for school. The woman at the counter helped me package them securely and pick the best shipping option. She was very patient since I was kind of clueless, not at the post office much. She even took the time to make sure I got the right amount of change from my payment. I had not been to the bank and my only payment method was a $100 bill. She was able to find change and go above and beyond by doing so. She could have just said, NO. Thanks for helping my little niece get her glasses asap and in one piece. Got an adorable book of stamps too. read more

Went here today to drop off a package. The bag I was sending was still open, I didn't want to tape it up if they didn't want me using the bag that my item was shipped in. I started to explain that and the lady (middle aged with glasses that was working around 1:30pm) with a major attitude, cut me off immediately telling me she can't do anything with it open. I said to her "please let me finish" and I went to explain again, and again she cut me off. Said "you need to go over there and tape it". So I did and asked where the tape was. Her response "you can buy it over there for $3.99." Soooo rude. Mind you, there was a huge line when I got there and I listened to her complain to every customer about how mad she is that they only have 2 people working today. I had no problem with the wait, but I had a huge problem with how rude this woman was. I told her she probably needed to go home and she said no I don't. Another customer in line said that they need to do away with USPS offices (considering how mean the workers are). It's just unfortunate that an actual employee is this rude to a customer. Thankfully I can handle bad attitude, but someone that was having a terrible day for whatever reason, could really be affected by someone like this lady. Do better as a person. There is more to life than being angry. read more

Consistently slow, consistently under staffed. This office has little motivation to move things along in a thrifty manner. It doesn't matter what time of the year, week, or day. Don't bother coming to this office if you can avoid it. Go to the Rocklin Post Office. Their staff are friendlier, thrifty and we'll-organized. read more

Never picks up their phone!!!!They are so lazy workers are rude service not good what so ever

I get that they are federal employees and they are not going to do a single thing that they are not absolutely required to do, but when you go into self-service and can't mail a package because they haven't dumped the bins all weekend is a bit much. This is why the post office is failing, and why they are nothing more than another bloated government agency. I don't care about having to deal with a person. When it comes right down to it, machines make many fewer mistakes. But it would be nice if the overpaid undereducated idiots in the back would at least do their jobs. read more

This is definitely not my favorite post office in the area. It's unfortunate that it is our main post office. The parking situation is really bad and just has gotten worse over the last couple of months. It's near impossible to find a spot some days. The employees are kind of hit or miss on friendliness. Sometimes I feel as though I am totally inconveniencing them by just being there. But you do get the ones that will match your attitude and remain friendly. I've had a few issues with packages not being delivered over the last few months and had to come here to figure out where they are. Most the time it's pointless because the employees here don't really ever have any information to give me on where things are or what I can do to find out. The last time I was here they told me that if I had an issue I just needed to go to West Sacramento and talk to the post office there, which is frustrating. Overall not a terrible location, but usually it's my last resort. read more

Thanks for making me wait in line to tell me you don't have enough cash on hand to pay my money order. Fourth Post Office I've tried today and none of these losers can honor a denomination of money order they print themselves. I don't need lame excuses about people usually buy them with debit card. How people purchase them has nothing to do with paying the people to whom they are made out to. Do better at something other than making BS excuses, guys. I expect a money order printed by you to be honored without some frustrating four hour trek around the county just to hear you apologize insincerely for not doing your damn job. read more

Would leave zero stars if I could. I got there with ample time before closing. The person working the window where you pick up keys was very unhelpful and should be ashamed of himself. He took forever helping the customers in front of me so by the time he came out it was 2 minutes after 5 and said he couldn't help me because he had to go since he was 2 minutes over the end of his shift. I kindly explained to him that I was just there to pick up keys and I was here waiting for a while before he was even closing. He just told me he couldn't help me and closed his window. VERY unprofessional and really crappy customer service to say the least. read more

We usually ship quite a few packages thru the mail and fill out a form on line for these packages to be picked up, by the USPS, it never fails that on the weekend they put there worst driver on the rout , some time I dont think they can read as they always forget to pick up our packages , with all the problems the post office has had over the last few years you would think they would try to get something right . But no they keep raising the rate on postage one more comment please hire people with High school diplomas that can read and do this basic Job read more

What else do people expect a review of the USPS besides they're horrible. Within the last 12 months I've had 3 packages get stuck somewhere for no reason then go back and forth to different regions of the country.. something called looping. Their staff over the phone may be friendly but they're absolutely no help, as well as the leads. I don't even go to the USPS in Granite Bay because I've found an employee there to be no help as well, including very "short", not in regards to height. I'd rather spend 3x as much $$ going through UPS or FEDEX. I would like to add that our mail person Ellie is great! read more

2 months ago I left a 1 star review because this post office does not answer calls. I went into the office and the person I needed to speak with, for a second mailbox, was not in but a lady left the woman a very thorough message for her to know what I was inquiring about and could get back to me. Two months later I have heard from no one. This place is horrible. Again, I would give 0 stars for their 0 business help if I could on Yelp. read more

The postal workers here CONSTANTLY deliver to the wrong address. This location keeps its phone off the hook so you can't talk to the local person to get it straightened out. The people that are supposed to help you here are your typical government workers who don't give a crap because they know they won't get fired. Sucks we're FORCED to use USPS. Also sucks that they force UPS and FedEx to use them on the last leg of many shipments. Lose a package? You're SOL. That has happened way too many times for me to count. read more

Absolutely disgusted. I tried getting a hold of them on the phone for over an hour, 916 789-4502, and the line is either busy or simply no one picks-up. Absolutely ZERO customer service.
