I am writing this message to United States Postal Service management because the level of customer service at your office is completely unacceptable. I honestly cannot understand how, in modern times, such disgusting customer service is still possible. Every time I leave this post office, I leave with a ruined mood. Instead of receiving help, customers are treated with rudeness, indifference, and visible irritation. This raises a very serious question: how do you hire your employees? What criteria do you use? Where do you find people who clearly hate their job, everyone around them, and take their anger out on customers? This behavior is not normal and should never be tolerated in a customer-facing role. Your employees appear lazy, unmotivated, and unwilling to do their jobs. They deliberately delay service while customers wait 10-20 minutes, including elderly people with canes who physically struggle to stand for long periods. During this time, staff members are simply standing around and doing absolutely nothing. I have witnessed this repeatedly -- this is not a one-time incident. This is constant. I strongly urge you to reconsider who you hire and to provide mandatory customer service training. What is happening in this office cannot be called customer service at all. It is disrespectful, careless, and deeply unprofessional. At this point, I am honestly willing to pay more money and go to UPS or FedEx just to be treated with basic human decency. I don't normally write negative reviews, but the woman at the front desk was very very rude. I brought in a package with the barcode return. The return I was making was not sealed (every return I've ever made at UPS didn't need to be sealed). Even so, a simple "hey so normally we need this bag to be sealed, but I'll do it this time" would've sufficed. Instead, she made multiple comments about how this was common sense and I should know this while shaking her head and belittling me. Over the weekend my boyfriend and I stopped in to pick out some Christmas Stamps to mail out our Christmas photo cards we purchased, shout out to Misty @mtphotos.sac on Instagram! Their staff member was both courteous and helpful, I picked out the Holiday Delights which come with 20 stamps and my boyfriend picked out their Madonna and Child which comes with 20 stamps as well. We loved the designs and know our friends and family will as well when they receive their cards! I would definitely recommend this location! Awesome - not only have they lost my mail at least 3 times, continue to deliver to the wrong address, ripped checks in half, lost my PO Box payment ...now they and SSD can't control the bums and thieves from breaking into the PO Boxes. It would seem that a strip mall this large cud hire night time security, but no, now I get to be inconvenienced and can no longer check my mail on Sunday or after 6 PM - awesome US Post Office - you are and embarrassment. I am disappointed as I went into the Orangevale post office at 6:30 am (before I needed to be at work at 7pm) to use the electronic mailing machine in the lobby to mail a package. The mailing machine was not available as it was off line for a software update and staff did not know how long this would take. Suggestion: Ask your IT people to program this software updates in the early AM, so it does not interfere with customer service when the post office lobby opens at 6:30. read more

I came here today looking for a functioning self-service machine. The machine here in the outer lobby works great. I was able to purchase the exact postage for my soft envelope, and place it in a collection been. I was in and out within three minutes. Very convenient. Especially given that this post office does not open until 10, I was able to contact the business at my personal convenience. read more

If you enjoy getting a card in your box telling you there's a parcel to pick up & you furthermore enjoy ringing the placebo bell to get them to ignore your ringing & making you go to the front & stand in line: this is your place. The counter people are stellar/friendly and unfortunately apologetic about the walking dead in the back, but if you think state workers are slow, get a package slip in your PO Box & prepare for a frustrating experience. This is not an isolated occasion, this is a reoccurring method at this location. Keep the counter personnel (they are great!), but fire those in the back who are "always it seams: on a break". read more

I came in to drop something off to deliver and I was attended by Lindsee and I came up to her and was nice but then she replied to me rudely when I was wanted to ship something out and all I needed was tape she said I had to buy some and talked to me like I was stupid, I've never shipped something out and I let her know that, and I go to buy the tape and tape my box up. Then a white lady comes in and she forgot her tape too but Lindsee offers her the stores tape to use, she was really nice to her and I realized that she was probably racist because the attitude compared to the white lady and I changed in and instant, complete opposite. Easily the worst mailman I have ever had. He is extremely inconsistent. Will deliver something at 11 one day and then days like today were its 5 and I still havent recieved my mail. This office is a lifesaver! I missed my carrier on a sat & i went in at 2pm to see if he had returned. The postmaster called the carrier directly who finished his route & returned to the office promptly so i could get my parcel! Service above & beyond! You guys ROCK! read more

I like this post office. nothing bad to report, and it is nice that it is in a shopping center so you can just stop in when you are out running other errands. I was just dropping off some things to mail so I didn't deal with any lines or people, but the location was well laid out and was able to navigate my way to where i needed to go. the lines seemed to move pretty quickly, and will return here when I need to. read more

I really like the people at the counters. They also have a roaming person with a hand-held who handles easy transactions when the line is super long. Why only 2 stars? To keep the story short: 1 - found out week before Christmas my mail station key would go into the lock but not turn it. I told them. 2 - they forced me to do a mail hold while they figured it out 3 - the mail carrier refused to empty the box and deliver the accumulated mail to my house, which is only 50 feet from the mail station (gift packages and cards were in there) 4 - when I picked up my mail at the P.O., I told them my key was working again (interesting, don't you think?) 5 - they changed the locks anyway, didn't tell me, AND (drum roll), didn't provide me with any new keys. SOOOO.... 6 - I attempted to check my mail today and my key won't even go into the lock and neither does my husband's key, which is how I know step 5 occurred. Now I have to leave work early to make it to the P.O. before they close to ask them WTH? and attempt to get new keys. Why is getting mail so difficult and why can't the mail carriers be productive, helpful, and caring like the people at the counter? read more

My very favorite Post Office. I try and save all my P.Office things for when I am in this area (twice a week). It is very retro in a Mad Man way on the outside, excellent parking and the employees are so, so, so sweet. I most of all love Robert, he is the nicest man. Even the people that are waiting in line are nice, and will chat you up, no snotty bitches to be found. Prices and rules are always changing it's hard to keep up. It needs to be simplified. Way too many options! From the machine outside to the counter clerk you can get two different prices. The line is always long at this location and it's super dirty. Young homeless drug users are always hanging around outside and there's no security. They even charge their cell phones outside and the postmaster does nothing about it. Be safe don't go at night. read more

Yeah its Ok. I mean its a Post Office. Its quite outdated and takes foreverrrrr if you have to stand in line. The stamp machine never works correctly. I've heard numerous stories of other patrons that they have missing/stolen parcels quite constantly. read more

Very convenient in and out although the lines are sometimes long. The staff seems to work diligently to help everyone and go the extra mile. I have never seen it dirty or homeless people staying in the lobby as others have said, but maybe quit being so antagonistic to the homeless and quit expecting some armed guard here after hours. Had the best service today! Was painless and I learned a lot! The gal in the lobby was so very helpful and was very kind.
