It is only a couple of blocks from the park and is so perfect for book and book themed/related shopping. They have lots of different genres and the store is organized so you can easily find what you are looking for. They have tons of bookmarks, stickers, keychains, reading lights etc.. The shop is beautiful inside, there's a couch by the big windows where you could spend some time hanging out in the natural light, the staff were super nice and friendly, and the prices are affordable/standard but not overpriced. I love that this shop, like so many other local's businesses/bookstores, prioritizes not only supporting their community but being inclusive and welcoming to all during a time like now. She understood my frustration with the pricing mix-ups and invited me back to give the shop another chance. Her kindness made Crystal Vibez a top priority for whenever I finally made it back to Sacramento. It turns out I actually know Tina! Because of the memory issues I've had since my car accident, I just didn't recognize the shortened version of her name. That was such a sweet connection to discover! This time, Ayla helped my friend and me throughout the store, and let me tell you... it was soooo tempting to buy one of everything! My friend picked up a few things, including an incense holder and a bracelet. I bought a bracelet and was able to get my Virgo candle at the advertised $10 sale price. Tina had also offered a little something extra to make up for my first experience. Although I initially didn't want to accept, she still found a way to turn my purchase into a gift. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture and her effort to make things right. I was disappointed I didn't get to catch up with Tina in person, but I asked Ayla to tell her hello for me! Ayla was kind and helpful, and this visit left me feeling so much better about the shop. Next time, I'm bringing my daughter, who also loves exploring cute crystal shops. I'm already thinking one of their little dolls would make a perfect Christmas gift for my sister. She had her eyes on those during our first visit! The team here is so friendly and the space itself is inviting and in the perfect area. They have a parking lot which is already a plus, but if they're having a special event and the lot is full you can easily find parking on the street. It's located in a neighborhood and surrounded by cute homes, is close to the park, and is walking distance from other stores and restaurants. We've come here for some of their pop-ups and then walked around the neighborhood with our dog before heading back over for a fun day out. I love that they support other local businesses by providing a space to sell their items, bring their pop-up businesses, and offer classes to the community. They have themed events throughout the year which adds extra fun, and while they don't have food the events often have a food truck or other pop up vendors. When I need a gift this is a great spot to stop, there's always a variety of cute items and they carry some of my favorite local candles. The prices vary by items and brand, but they're well worth it to support the local brands and the quality is always great.
