I needed to ship internationally, and that's normally a complicated ordeal worth dreading. Candace made my day with friendly chit-chat and the smoothest quick service. Will be using this place for my shipping needs in the future! read more

I have been here numerous times and the staff is always so friendly and quick! Great service!

This clean, well-organized, locally own little store has nice staff. They offer lots of box options, a few greeting cards, packing materials and UPS shipping. They might offer others carriers, but not sure. I went there for passport pics and notary services. They showed me the pics for my approval before printing, which was nice. They notarized my Irish citizenship application documents for about $15 per document. It was fairly time consuming transaction but eventually got what I needed. I did run into an issue; they wouldn't notarize my passport photos, which was a requirement of my application. I was able to go down the street to the UPS Store who did notarize my photos using a standard form. read more

I love this place. The employees are so wonderful and helpful. You can meet all of your mailing needs easily and the notary service is also outstanding. I use this store probably on a weekly basis. What really makes it is that the employees are just so great! read more

Always very attentive. Get the job done while explaining things, very friendly. The Boxshop is so much better than going to the Post Office or UPS. It is also very convenient . The hours are great and pick-up times too!! read more

Just walked in without any appointment and got my passport photos taken care of in 10 minutes, the staff were so friendly with my son and went out of their way to make him comfortable and even found some stickers for him. These days, it's hard to find businesses that offer this kind of customer service. Highly recommend this place and I am leaving with a huge smile on my face. Thank you so much read more

I just moved to the area and stopped in today to drop off a pre-paid FedEx return. My husband and I were standing inside near entrance trying to figure out if we needed to wait for someone or if we could do it ourself, and less than a minute later, an employee who was off the clock came by to let us know we could just slap our label on and leave it so we didn't have to wait. She then went a step further and helped us attach the receipt to the rug. Not long after, another employee (who was on the clock) came by to take care of the rest. We needed to tape up part of the package and she let us know she would handle it. A++ service. read more

Excellent customer service by every associate that has greeted me. The notary service is top notch too.

They have helped me send packages to Peru twice! Very friendly and gave me the entire rundown on international shipping/ rules.

I've had to come here twice to mail important documents internationally and they always help me and show me all the services (fedex, ups, dhl) and the options each offers. They help figure out which takes how long and price comparison too. I recommend this place. read more

Absolutely love this store! Easy in, many shipping choices, helpful employees and fast service! I was greeted immediately by Logan last week and called to his counter. He was very helpful and efficient! Logan is a great employee of this store, in my opinion. I left feeling confident that all was done properly. Prices are reasonable and I did feel that my package was a good value shipping choice! I will return to this location again. I will only use this store in the future for package delivery service. Went here for a live finger scan & was greeted by the employees. TJ ended helping me out. Everyone here had awesome customer service.

I have had a mailbox here for a long time now several years. Is it for my business now mail. I get notified when I get a package. Everyone is pleasant and a recognize me when I come in. They typically have my stuff ready before I reach the counter, I recommend this place anyone that needs a business address or has any shipping needs they also have a good selection of boxes and packaging material notary public and live scan fingerprinting. I like it especially for the security peace of mind in knowing that my package will be there until I get there to pick it up and no one will steal it off my doorstep. read more

I'll try to write this again. Clicked on wrong button and my extensive praise filled review disappeared. Staff here always friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with. They explain options and go above and beyond. In an age where I see customer service lacking they excel and will always be our go to place for our shipping needs. As a customer service/marketing professional I know that the owners/management must be great to retain staff and instill such exemplary upbeat atmosphere. read more

I recently went to send a valuable family airloom to my sister in Alabama. When I entered the store there was a short line. A man at the counter was agitated and using profane words and acting aggressivly towards the staff. It was clear he was projecting his problem onto the staff. He even made racist remarks. The staff stayed proffessional and made every attempt to meets his needs and keep him from escalating. He had made quit a scene, however, the staff handled him with respect and dignity. After he left, they rebounded quickly and professionally, maintaining the grace and warmth of a nieghborhood, yet community box store. Ive been coming here for years and they always deliver. read more

Friendly staff that knows what great customer service is. Local up-and-coming businesses should use this one as a shining example. Small shop located in the Bel-Air shopping center at the Manzanita/Fair Oaks Blvd split next to Starbucks. Look for the neon "Notary" sign in the window. Love the fact they have mobile notary services as well as walk-ins. read more

Stopped in for the first time today to mail a package and was blown away by the awesome customer service (thanks, Candace!). Candace was friendly and knowledgeable, making pleasant conversation with us during our transaction. Need something shipped? No problem! Pick your poison: USPS, DHL, UPS, FedEx...they've got it all! The store has GREAT prices on boxes (and a good variety of sizes as well), passport photos, live scan fingerprinting services, notary services, a copy/fax machine, and P.O. Box rental service to boot. They also have funny greeting cards for sale....a cool touch that make local businesses like Carmichael Box Shop worth visiting. I'm heading back there today to mail out another package. read more

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Being my first time to do something I had no hesitations and wasn't afraid. Thank you!!

We have been using them for years. They are the friendliest and most helpful staff ever and are 100% reliable.

The customer service at the box shop is always amazing! So glad they have a notary on staff and rates were very good!

Talk about a bad experience not only did I wait in line I pay for a box and then the lady who help me doesn't give me complete directions on how to cut the box she does hand me scissors to do it myself because I guess they're too busy so by the time I'm done cutting it the box isn't even completely covered when I folded over and she looks at me like I am supposed to still send my stuff with the box that has a hole in the center of it this is kind of ridiculous I ended up leaving the box there wasted eight dollarsThey try to get me to use that other Postal Service shipping like ups But when they compare the rates they only show you the post office priority rate and none of the others like ground etc. I don't recommend coming here and I sure won't ever again I ended up just leaving the eight dollar box I spent paying for what a waste of my time do you self a favor and don't waste your time coming here I sure won't read more

Rented a box for several months and all interactions with staff were awesome! Brandon in particular stands out but all great. Once I bought stamps and paid full price (didn't know I was eligible for discount on stamps) but on my next visit they acknowledged their mistake and gave me a refund! Wow! I'm sad to say that I'm not impressed! I had to send a one page fax. When we walked in there were 2 people behind the counter and one single customer. They had already completed their transaction and were chatting. I wasn't greeted and when my kids were looking at the bags of packing noodles, the lady behind the counter said "uh huh!" rather sharply then sat down behind the counter and said nothing more. The customer left and the young man asked if he could help me. He seemed to have a rather dour expression. I said I needed to send a fax and he asked if I needed a cover sheet. I filled it out while my kids were looking at the spinning carols of greeting cards. They were quiet and behaving themselves. There were no cards coming out of their holders nor any unruly behavior. I gave the fellow my 2 pages and he typed in the fax number. He rang my transaction for $2 and held onto the papers while the transmission completed and my confirmation sheet came out. He paper clipped everything together and said thank you. I felt very unwelcome and will def be doing my occasional faxing elsewhere. Not all children terrorize retail establishments and I would certainly hope to not be discriminated against for bringing in my children! The store has packing & shipping options and a few misc retail items on their counter shelves. The main crux of their business is post office boxes, greeting cards and mailing. read more
