this place has multiple locations that meet your needs. for the past couple years this specific location has been my go to place for new job hire process (drug test, livescan finger printing, physical exam and t.b test) *****if the new job uses wellnessmart***** you can definitely make an appointment and/or walk-in to get any of these important process completed. i have never waited more than 15 minute, even when i did not have an appointment. the nurses and techs are very kind and helpful. they always also print you completed paperwork or email if you would like. (helps to have an extra copy just incase your employer needs it/ anything like that) the whole process time is effective and professional. they are payient with you and help to make sure you have everything completed correctly. definitely recommend!!!!!!! read more

The sign in the door said they would return at 9:00.there were 3 young ladies sitting by the door, very smug and giggling and shrugging their shoulders. I love this place! We send our nursing students here to get FIT tested because their prices are very reasonable and nursing school is expensive! I recently had to get a TB skin test so I went here and had a great experience. The staff is VERY nice and professional. They are fast and the prices are very affordable. I did not have to make an appointment and I was in and out in 10-15 minutes max. I missed the window to get my TB test read (which is good--it means they are upholding standards, which is what you want from a healthcare provider) and they replaced my second test for half the price. Came here twice. First time for a TB test at 10AM on a Saturday & second time around 2PM on a Monday afternoon for a physical assessment. Staff is friendly and professional. UNSANITARY! Do NOT recommend!! Came here for a pre-employment drug screen and TB test. Instead of using the typical medical-grade sterile cup for a urine sample, they had me pee into a Dixie cup (completely not-sterile). Also, there was no lock box for my personal belongings. While I was in the restroom, I was forced to leave my valuables (purse, wallet, cell phone, car keys, etc) out in the open area where other people could have had access to them. In addition, I had to verbally request the gal placing my TB test to please wear sterile gloves when handling the medication container and needle, as she was about to touch/pierce my skin with said needle after she touched items that were not sanitized. (I was watching closely, and she had not washed her hands before handling the medication container and needle either- who knows what fluids she came in contact with with the previous client or what else she touched that was not clean/sanitized.) In a "fun" turn of events this place also sells insect repellent. I have worked in healthcare and medical quality control for over 15 years, and this place takes the cake with breaking all the proper sterile procedures. This place is a joke. There was little to no pain and everything went by super quickly. The staff is very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I needed to get a live scan done and a physical on short notice. I saw that this place took appointments and walk-ins so I gave this place a shot. I came in around noon without an appointment and the kind nurse in the front told me they had a few appointments ahead of me but they'll see me as quick as possible. I was afraid I would be waiting for about an hour to be seen but they were able to get me started with my live scan within 15 minutes after I signed in on the iPad and signed a few forms. The workers here were super kind and helpful and super efficient. I have been here for TB testing twice now and this time around I also used them for fingerprinting because the Serna center was closed. The clients could have social distanced better, but the staff could not have been kinder or more professional. I did not realize the tertiary forms needed if you use a passport instead of a drivers license and they were patient and helpful for an hour. I just got a job with a major hospital and needed TB testing done. I will admit I was a bit stressed about this because I do not currently have insurance. Last time I had to get a TB test sans insurance, it cost $100 at an urgent care. Via a Gogle search, I found a link offering $27 TB shots in Sacramento. I figured this was way too good to be true; just another silly advertisement leading nowhere. I found my pessimissm relinquished once I made a call to the office. The staff member, Christina, confirmed the price of $27 for TB, no insurance needed. I was psyched and headed over. Note: the office is not so easy to find. Not at all, considering the plaza signs do not say WellnessMart anywhere. I had to do some driving around. To save you the trouble, it inside the middle strip, directly across from Kinetic Cycles. I waited for about a half hour, but Christina was working alone, so this was very understandable. In fact, I told her how impressed I was with how calm and collected she remained while assisting so many people. She was very friendly and detailed. I hope this girl gets paid well. She deserves it. I went in to get a LIVE SCAN done and a couple months ago, I went in to get a flu shot. When I first walked in, I was a bit intimidated because it was really quiet and not crowded by people. The best thing about this though is that you can get one on one attention. The workers here while speaking to them casually, I found they are working medical professionals. They are either an RN or an LVN. They are also very friendly and not so uptight. They had a conversation with me about why I came and what it was for. They had a lot of great knowledge about the different types of professionals in the medical field. It was really less intimidating. Also the paper work before signing your life away to get a shot or their services are seamless and modern. When I say modern, there are no papers to sign. You are working directly onto a tablet that transfers your information to their database. Everything is paperless which shows they care about the environment and stress free papers. I've been going to this location, for a few years now, to get my labs done for school/employment. They are very clear with their instructions and the cost is reasonable. I would suggest this place for chest x-rays. Other send the chest x-ray results straight to your employer/school without providing you your own copy. This place will hand you your x-ray result, so you can reuse it somewhere else and not have to pay separately for school x-ray, work x-ray, another work x-ray, etc. Of course, they have other services, too. I had my titers done for school at this location a few years back, and I still have the document on my email. They email the results and print for their patients/customers as well. read more

I needed some last minute blood work redrawn that was time sensitive. I was nervous about this place because of the reviews, but so glad I went. The three women working there went above and beyond to get my blood drawn. They were professional, and got me right in. Turns out, I was dehydrated and it was freezing in there; so it was hard to get a vein. They patiently waited for me to drink water and warmed up my arm so the draw would work. They were kind, positive and understanding of my situation. When we finally could get the draw to work, we all were so excited and I wanted to hug them all. I would have if it wasn't covid times. You have to sign in on a tablet and wait to be called however there's two tiny tablets -- the one in front is lying flat and barely visible and the one on the side is the one with the sign saying to sign in on it. I told them I wasn't aware of sign in requirement and that two people who came in after me signed in before me but them still helped them first. Then they asked if my employer was paying even though their billing info was on form (they asked again at end too). The fingerprinting took forever because the lady didn't know what she was doing. What's the point in making an appointment if they won't honor it? I scheduled an appointment for noon and live all the way in Fairfield. I had to get a live scan and TB test done and this was the only place my new company had an account with. So after driving an hour to get here I find that there is only one nurse working and twelve people waiting in line. I didn't even get a chance to talk to her until 20 minutes later because she wouldn't even acknowledge anyone! ONE HOUR LATER I was finally seen. Absolutely ridiculous. I warned other people while I was waiting that it would take a while and several left early because this lack of customer service and help behind the counter is ridiculous. The staff were very inattentive. As I walked in, one staff was assiting another customer while the two other staff were on the computer. The staff that was helping the customer advised me to sign in on their ipad. After doing so, I waited by the counter for about 5 minutes until deciding to take a seat. Once seated, I waited about 40 minutes and none of the two other staff acknowledged me. As I approached the counter, the other staff was now on the phone and the other staff is in her office sitting down. I feel like I was being ignored the entire time. Very bad, nightmare experience. One woman was trying to do all of the patient registration, perform all of the TB testing, perform all of the physicals, do all of the live scans, and handle all of the drug testing for dozens of people at once, with no back-up from anyone. As soon as a new person would come in she would start telling them how long they'd be there in an effort to discourage them from staying. It was awful. Worse, she started asking illegal questions. Since I was there for pre-employment screening, I found this extremely inappropriate and it made me highly uncomfortable. They do not provide verifiable drug tests either. Not two-step urine specimen screening, and no blood tests. So if you wind up with a false positive, which can destroy your reputation and cause extremely severe negative consequences, there's nothing you can do about it. And OF COURSE they have you sign an agreement to arbitration, so you can't even sue them if they destroy your professional reputation. I was so uncomfortable after going here that I sent an advisory email to my prospective employer's HR person, in case there turns out to be problems. Employers may be trying to cut costs by using this place, but it's also putting their recruitment efforts at risk, because good solid people are not likely to tolerate this sort of flaky entity. Very scary place to have to come to, and if you can possibly avoid this place, do it. And there is no medical doctor or physician in the building when the "physical" that's supposed to screen you for employment purposes is completed. Very frightening that this sort of fly-by-night operation is happening in 2018. read more
