I went here to get a preemployment drug screening. It's kind of a strange business model. You walk…read morein and there's no person anywhere to talk to. You check in on a kiosk. It's crazy busy and the kiosk told me to come back 4 1/2 hours later. OK, no problem. But I was feeling a little concerned so I tried to call the customer service line to make sure they can take my paperwork. Still no human to talk to. Only an AI assistant who can make or break an appointment for you. They cannot answer any questions. So I go back at the time it told me to, wait in the waiting area for 20 minutes. They call me back and the attendant was very nice, but she had never seen the type of paperwork I had for the preemployment drug screening. So long story short, they could not do my test and I spent most of the business day trying to figure it out. They were nice and they did give me a list of labs that might possibly do it. I would return to this business, it seems like they do a lot of lab tests that are reasonably priced that you can pay for independently. Stuff that your doctor might give you a hard time about like hormone, testing, etc. But don't come here with a preemployment drug screening.

She stuck me twice and couldn't get it done. Because of her incompetence, I was referred to their Scripps location where I had a completely different experience! Tae B. was kind, patient and caring. She made sure I was comfortable (I'm a hard stick and I HATE getting my labs done) and gave me all the tricks of the trade on how to make future blood draws a positive experience. She went out of her way to reassure me and she is excellent at her job. I felt a tiny pinch, but no pain. The gentleman at the desk was a hoot as well. He made jokes and it seemed like he understood that blood draws cause anxiety for some. The whole experience was easy going even though I was a bundle of nerves. I won't forget how I was made to feel at this location. I was filled to the brim with anxiety and Tae made me feel seen. She said she's been a phlebotomist for over 20 years. The online appointment process is simple & you can check-in virtually from the parking lot. One if their greatest assets is the technician who checks you in (haven't got his name). He is very friendly, kind, tries to make you smile, and super helpful. When the other technicians are busy, he also steps away to draw blood as well. He is very skilled and makes the entire process a breeze. I actually look forward to coming back whenever labs may be due again. I've been to other LabCorp locations in CA and AZ, and can affirm that this location at 1 Scripps Drive is the best. Their operations & genuine friendly care for patients should be replicated throughout the LabCorp network. Kudos LabCorp!!

I told her I chose this one because it's cleaner, friendly and less crowded. Well our experience today confirmed my position in choosing this location. We were helped by a young man named Miguel who was kind, caring, attentive, and patient. We did not have our typical Jack in the box drive thru experience as we usually do at our former location (Howe and Fair Oaks). Kudos to Miguel and who ever manages this location.

There was zero physical signage on the door indicating the Quest lab was closed for building maintenance. I only received a digital cancellation notice at 7:15 AM. Furthermore, this happened on a Monday morning. There is no excuse for corporate management not to notify patients over the weekend that scheduled building maintenance would close the lab. Because this building offers a 20-minute parking grace period, a simple sign on the front door would have allowed patients to immediately turn around and exit the parking lot for free. By leaving no physical notice, waiting patients were forced to exceed that 20-minute window and pay for parking at a closed facility. A last-minute cancellation like this is completely unacceptable for patients who are actively fasting or relying on strict medical transport and family schedules. Leaving patients stranded outside with no physical sign on the door is incredibly poor management.

Waiting area is sufficient for mobility devices such as wheelchairs , walkers, canes and more. Blood draw area can be a tight squeeze for wheelchairs but the phlebotomists rearrange things to make access. With a scheduled appointment, an experience at Quest has the potential to be optimum. Oh, have insurance card or payment ready at the time of appointment or optionally, input health insurance information under the profile section in the MyQuest system when scheduling appointment. Designated place for a workplace drug test…read more. I went at opening because I've had to do a drug test for another workplace at another place in the past, first come-first serve, and it was longer than I wanted to be there.. Figured it wouldn't be busy at opening and it wasn't. I filled out a form at the window, the guy took my ID.. after the paperwork, he lead me towards his desk where I put my bag in a filing cabinet, locked and was given the key. I took a plastic cup from the desk and went into the restroom with the red door and peed. It hella smelled like piss in that bathroom (and I went at opening). They give you instructions and how much pee is needed to no flushing and I couldn't wash my hands afterward. I put the pee filled cup on a paper towel on his desk where he took the temp and did the instant test on it and allowed me to go back and wash my hands.. That door handle must be pretty nasty through the day. I was in-and-out. I don't want to get into drug testing debates. It's a headache but if you want to work in some places, it's a reality.

Anyways around 10:25 they sent me a text message to come on in and get my blood work. I was happy. I was not worried no more since I work this day. Then Dominique she was super wonderful. She made everything so smooth. If I need to get my blood work again I want Dominique to do it again. She was gentle she made everything smooth. I asked questions and she answered them. The facility inside looks clean bathroom clean too. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Yes I do. My experience was different from everyone else. I came out the facility before 11 am.
