They close early - before the doctors stop seeing patients. So it is not possible to get the labs your doctor ordered at your visit when the lab closes before you get out of your doctor appointment. Parking is insane- garage parking a few blocks away. I did walk into the lab waiting room once - it was dark and dank. I just don't understand why they close SO EARLY. Having to come back and pay MORE expensive garage parking fees is outrageous. read more

I had to go get some X-ray done. I arrived at the facility, super clean +++. Yes!!! I'm that one the checks the window sills. Because if you can't keep your building clean, you sho can't do nothing for me. Long story short I didn't have to walk away. The employees where super kind. I was checked in without a problem. The employee instructed me on where to go next, after I sit down probably 25 mins. Later they were calling my names. I went in was in there about 10 minutes and I was don't. Great job guy. Until next time. read more

What a seamless experience. Checkin was fast, efficient and friendly. After a very short wait I was called back to the procedure area. The lady who brought me back was friendly, conversational and kind. The changing room had a few stray gowns. Minus 0.01 star deduction for that atrocity. The lady quickly tidied it up before I went in to change. Plus a full star for that. The shining star for me was a very kind individual by the name of Brooke. She was the radiologist for the procedure. She was so very kind to explain everything so clearly and answered any questions completely and thoroughly. Brooke got everything in place before the physician arrived. From the point on she was still so very compassionate in her demeanor which was so welcomed. The physic was also quite good in answering all my questions. Brooke was kind enough to take me from the procedure area to my waiting transportation. 100 stars for Brooke! read more

Amazing staff, they are all so sweet and caring. They make me feel very comfortable.....thanks everyone

The only reason I am giving a one star is due to the receptionist rude attitude. We arrived around 9:53am to check in for X-ray and she rudely informed us about she's not checking in anyone else until 10:30am to go to lunch. There was no sign in list for people waiting or no sign that indicated she's out to lunch for a specified time. Usually, I have a five star experience, rudeness isn't acceptable to me. read more

Efficient and clean environment with professional and compassionate staff. I received stellar care.

Sutter is amazingly busy and trying to get an appointment for a ANY specialist OR specialty imaging is nearly impossible. But we happened to strike goal and my husband got his appointment fairly quickly. (We were on a waiting list for any cancellations) BUT the service and treatment were tops at Sutter Imaging downtown. Everyone was kind. Expressed concern and really knew and did their job well! My husband felt comfortable even during the tests. Results were received by our doctor quickly as well. No hiccups! And that's a good thing. read more

I see so many good reviews, but how do you make an appointment to get in? Over the last several days, I was on hold 3 times for at least 1/2 hour each before finally hanging up. I thought maybe I was calling the wrong number which was listed on line as (916) 453-9999. So then I called the number posted on Yelp (916) 262-9301. I got exactly the same set of recordings and the same background music . . . so far I've been on hold 15 minutes with no updates like, "you are 4th in line" or "enter your number and we will call you back". I am not very hopeful that the phone will ever be answered. read more

I have never waited more than 5 minutes at this facility. The staff is outgoing and very accommodating. The building is clean, waiting area is decent size. They always have snacks and drinks for sale for the March of dimes everything is 1.00. So if your feeling like snacking be sure to ask. I came for X-rays of hands, feet and x ray of hips. They were getting ready to close so Dr.Bennett walked me over and requested for them to do my scans and send the information to him. They willing took me in without a problem. read more

Seeings as how I've had multiple ultrasounds, mammograms and tissue biopsies performed at this very location including yet another biopsy this week it's time for a review. To date I'd have to say that when your ill and don't know why, feel like total crap, are weak, weary and in need of scheduled medical procedures it makes a tremendous difference when you're treated like royalty. Every single time. From their prompt and thorough scheduler Alexis to the valet parking offered as one pulls up to the main entrance, to the calm quiet private changing and procedure waiting room I've always had a positive experience. They run on time too verses being hours behind which often times occurs in diagnostic facilities. I know as I've had enough tests and the like to rival most people in my age group. Sutter Capitol Pavilion Diagnostic Imagining is one of the most well run, organized and professional diagnostic imaging locations I've yet to patron. Located off of Capitol and L Street in midtown Sacramento. Here's some stuff I love about this Sutter Imaging Facility: ~ FREE wifi. It's fast, has a long range and even makes it into the back private waiting room area verses crapping out due to the steel walls. ~ Quiet peaceful environment. From the main lobby waiting area to the back office. No drama or screaming kids or loud obnoxious humans ~ Soothing music plays over the surround sound. I find this very comforting and relaxing ~ App check-in available for android and iPhones. Allows you to check in remotely. Super convenient. ~ They call you to gently remind you of your appointment and have FREE valet parking and seating as you await the return of your vehicle. ~ Great radiologists! I've had 3 different ones so far and all 3 have been truly excellent and spoke with me throughout the procedures. ~ MRI's; they perform them as well as ultrasounds, X-rays etc. ~ Great hours of operation: Monday thru Friday from 7am to 6pm with STAT appointments also available. No need to say more ;) read more

I was treated promptly and with such kindness -- everyone from the woman at the front desk to the mammogram technician to the ultrasound technician to the radiologist. Very good experience. read more

Frustrating when ppl in your lobby are allowed to listen to their phones on full blast. They are listening to political or religious shows forcing all of the waiting room to suffer through it. Told staff and they don't care cuz they don't have to suffer through it. It's horrible when you don't feel well. If they don't have headphones they need to read or look at pics but dear god this was a horrible experience read more

The X-ray technician, Faye, was awesome by informing me everything coding the process and even joked a bit to ease my mind just in case if I'd have any hesitation about the process read more

5 stars ... in and out mri this morning .... very smooth ... funny staff as well .... thanks guys .

This place deserves 10 stars. The staff is courteous and professional. ALL of them. Hermoz and cara the techs that did my bone scan were amazing. Facing a possible diagnosis of a rare disease is nerve wrecking and scary, they were so kind and compassionate. At one point I began to cry just nervous and they were so attentive. The front office staff are all literally the same..I would recommend this place to anyone.. read more

The building is clean, there is free valet parking, well displayed signs to direct you to the right office and did I mention it's clean? I had an awful diagnostic test done here, so the fact that I am giving it 5 stars tells you something. My appointment was at 10:30 and they were very prompt at calling me in. The front staff and the gentleman that walked me back were both helpful and patient, and the room I was lead to was comfortable and the gown I was given was cloth and full coverage so there was no butt in the wind sitcom scene going to happen. I was handed a warm blanket to keep me comfortable, and offered a key entry locker for my clothes and personal items. The most wonderful part of my experience was the nurse/technician who assisted in my procedure, Faye. She was a kind and extremely helpful person who calmly explained every detail that was about to happen in a way that I could understand and was able to answer any question I had. The doctor was nice, and did an overview of the procedure, but I was very grateful for Faye's detailed description beforehand. The room and equipment seemed clean, up to date and both Faye and the doctor were very aware I was nervous and if I was in too much pain, he would stop and try to talk me through the pain while she applied a cold compress to my forehead, rubbed my arm and just generally tried to make me feel more comfortable. After it was all done I gave Faye a hug and am so very grateful that even though this procedure was unpleasant, I could not have been happier with the Imagine facility and the staff. read more

Unbelievable service when I needed to take some Xrays today. I waited about 10 minutes and soon was ushered into the Xray room. Finished in about 12 minutes and out the door I went! Also, "Free Valet Parking" at the entrance to the medical center. Great because it was raining this morning. Brand new and very nice facilities along with courteous and friendly personnel. read more

Free valet parking is a plus... And it's free for the entire building here and not just the imaging suite. Had a 3pm Friday afternoon appointment and only two other people were in the waiting room when we first got there. But, I think they were actually waiting on someone else who had already gone in... Even with an appointment, still waited over 30 minutes before getting called in. In fact, there were other people who came in after us and got called in before us (we were there for an ultrasound and other people were just there for x-rays or other services). When you're with a pregnant person who has to drink lots of water and not use the restroom, the wait time should be kept to a minimum... When we did get called in, there was only 2 ultrasound rooms and both were empty, so why the long wait? To make things worse, the request for the service wouldn't show up in their computer. So we had to wait for them to figure that out also. (I think our doctor had requested one service, but the radiologist cancelled it and switched it to something else). I'm not sure if our technician was new, but he was horrible... Took a personal call prior to starting the ultrasound session (making us wait longer). And since he took the call while we were waiting in the room, I could hear him say that he was going to be late for something, so we now knew that he was only interested in getting off of work (Friday afternoon...) He also didn't seem competent with the machine or process. Perhaps he was new, because he only took the measurements that were requested and didn't give us any views of our new baby. It is not our first child, but doesn't he know that people want to see their whole baby (and not just the head/measurements)? It also would have been nice to get a printout or two also... read more

Exquisite care!!!!! Everybody is so friendly.... Valet ( free ) staff- when arriving and leaving, were kind and professional. The receptionist was also kind we talked and even laughed together. Lady who took me to ct was welcoming and shared a lovely smile with me. Ct tech new what he was doing and got it done quick. X-ray tech ( day ) was also awesome. The craziest part was that I had a ct chest and a three view wrist done so quick. From check in to check out was 19 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Terrific Staff! I had to go in for MRI of complete spine & Mammogram. The scheduling Dept got on three-way call to best coordinate the two imaging appt. I got in quick, Plus every other time at the God Forsaken Mercy, I had to have valium!! I am extremely chlosterphobic & once I had to come out of machine because the Tech at mercy left me without speaking to me, ensuring i was okay. This time literally I fell asleep! Awesome! Sutter Health is light years ahead of Mercy facilities. read more

Fantastic service and the best UT ever. She is older but surely cares about all of her patients. This place is beautiful. Has locker rooms and separate dressing areas indicative of dressing rooms. I love that. The huge scene in the mammography room is soothing and wonderfully placed. Sutter makes sure to hire top notch staff that really know how to treat their patients. I am happy to be a patient of this age old organization and will continue to book all my healthcare needs here. read more

Clean, comfortable, and friendly is how I would describe this place. It sure beats the cold, clinical feel of a typical X-ray lab. The interior design fabrics are ugly (IMO), but there is a warm feeling in the wood tones and colors. The warmth is more than echoed in the attitudes of the helpful and caring staff. Short wait time, too, on a late Tuesday morning. Free valet parking included. read more

Took a friend in for an MRI of back. Staff were all pleasant and nice to us. Eric Radiology Tech. was great in getting uncle squared away & helped him relax for procedure. Very impressed by all for making it a good experience vs something else. Thank you. read more

I was incredibly nervous about my first transvaginal ultrasound but the reception staff and the tech were really nice which helped a lot. The facility is clean and calm, not "cold" like most hospitals. My tech was compassionate and explained everything thoroughly, mindful of my comfort level physically and emotionally. The procedure was relatively quick and not painful at all. Excellent staff at Sutter Imaging. read more

Professional, friendly staff, fast results... and oh my goodness, I LOVE the free valet parking!!!!

The rad tech was super friendly as were the receptionists. Met and exceeded expectations.

I had a great experience there today. I had the earliest appointment of the day. I had a check-in time of 7:15 am. Unfortunately, no one showed up until 7:22, so me and the security guard for the building had no idea what the deal was. There was no one there to give me any info. The receptionist that showed up told me she was supposed to start work at 7:30 am. So, clearly that needs to be fixed. After that, it was a smooth transaction. I got my ultrasound and continued with my day. :) Thanks! read more

I had arrived about 40 minutes early for a 9:00 am appointment since I did not know what to expect and the location of the building. About 5 minutes after I had competed the " paperwork", I was called in for the procedure. Afterwards, I was lead back to the main waiting area to receive my image cd. I was out the door at by 9:05 !! All the staff that I had encountered was very relaxed, courteous, comfortable and professional; all set in a airy, bright establishment. Yes, my experience was quite expedited and favorable to my Monday morning start of the week! read more

Had a transvaginal ultrasound at this office yesterday. My appointment was late in the day and the valet parking was closing. The valet gentleman tapped on my window and said just lock up the car and leave it where it was. No problem. I went inside, easy check in, and after a few minutes was called in. The radiologist explained how this was going to go, checked frequently to make sure I was okay, and was very professional and respectful, but kind and concerned for my welfare as well. I was relaxed from the time I drove up to the time I went home. Awesome. read more

Avoid this place because they do not seem to care about their patients. My doctor sent an urgent order over to have something done and the scheduling dept said they never received it. I then hung up obviously upset and called right back and spoke with a different person who said the order was received but they are waiting for auth from my insurance. I called my insurance the next day and was told that they had approved the auth to have it done so I called this imaging place to check status and schedule my appointment and the lady I spoke with they did not have they auth from my insurance and took my name and number and said someone would call me back. It's now 2 days later and still no call back and 4 days after my doctor sent in my order. I just tried calling and got their after hours message saying they are closed and that their hours are M-F 7a to 7p and to press 1 to leave a non-urgent message. When you press 1 it loops you to another message that says they are closed and that their hours are M-F 7a to 6p and to press 1 to leave a non-urgent message. Then when you press 1 it sends you to a voice mail system that DOES NOT allow you to leave a message. It asks you to enter a mailbox number or to press stay on the line or press 0 for operator assistance. If you press 0 it says that it does not recognize the entry, and if you don't press anything and stay on the line it says that it does not recognize the entry and hangs up on you. With such incompetence with the staff when you get a hold of them, and inability to get a hold of them to follow up because they keep dropping the ball....it leaves you to wonder if you really want to trust them to care for you. read more

This place is always amazing and I'm giving this one star to one person and not this Sutter imaging location as a whole. Richard, a regular who helps us normally, is amazing and really cares about patients. However when I brought a patient in today we were "assisted" by a young lady in a red and black flannel and a bandana. You read that right. The rest of the staff was dressed in scrubs professionally and this employee was wearing a red and black flannel and a bandana. Her attitude was terrible. She was almost angry she had to help this patient. She was rude and disrespectful to him in her tone and got upset because the facility hadn't sent the proper paper work which is completely out of the patient's control. She made an obvious effort to chastise the patient over the fact the facility hadn't sent the wrong paper work three separate time despite the fact I'd told her this wasn't the patients fault. She didn't care. Her demeanor was rude, disrespectful, and down right mean. She was dressed more like a member of Nirvana than a medical professional. This imaging center is amazing and Richard is so nice and professional, along with the rest of the staff. Who is this person? read more
