First, I came in like around 9:20ish I read the reviews and I'm like I'm not waiting over an hour I got to work. Anyways around 10:25 they sent me a text message to come on in and get my blood work. I was happy. I was not worried no more since I work this day. Then Dominique she was super wonderful. She made everything so smooth. If I need to get my blood work again I want Dominique to do it again. She was gentle she made everything smooth. I asked questions and she answered them. The facility inside looks clean bathroom clean too. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Yes I do. My experience was different from everyone else. I came out the facility before 11 am. read more

I've continued to visit this location since my last review so I thought that I'd report that this location continues to be quick and efficient. Today I was assisted by Claudia for bloodwork. She was friendly and quick. This location was clean and there was definitely enough seating. They call their patients quick so I have always been able to grab a seat while I wait for my appointment. read more

When I came in on the next working day September 2 they said sorry but they can't honor not over ride the computer. Super frustrated as it's a dating blood test and that a person can't override the system that booked me the days previously. read more

I see so many complaints , but what y'all don't understand that. First of all They don't get paid enough hourly with all the stress and extra work they have to do and that is including reception job, which is typing up y'all orders! And the appts are scheduled every 10 minutes which the employees also hate because some patients can take up to 20-30 depending on the paperwork blood order, very hard stick and language barrier. If you are going in as a walk-in expect to wait a very long time! So make an appt! Though there will be some appts that end up having to wait a little longer like 30 because of the complications with the patients ahead of you! & with patients complaining and yelling at the worker does not make it any easier! It's not just a simple blood draw and pick up urine like someone said below it's more than that. Some patients maybe easy and some patients maybe difficult to get blood from and you also have to consider that some end up passing out and having seizures that may cause the delay of your wait time and appts & oh don't forgot when they get the screaming, kicking and crying kids or when the Afghanistan and Russian family that brings their whole family and kids! The employees don't like how shit is run there either! It's a VERY stressful place! So just shut your hole and learn to have more patience!! read more

Why does it take them forever even when you have an appointment Quest is so big on making people schedule an appointment but the moment you have one you're still waiting over 30+ minutes I schedule an appointment all of the time when I come in here and I always get seen 30 minutes late. Very good experience at this Quest Diagnostics of my lab works for my annual body checkup. I made an appointment online and they have me finish most of the paper works online before I come in. They texted me one day in advance to confirm my appointment. They texted me again one hour before to remind me. And they sent me a link to check in when I'm there. Excellent of using the technology! I'm in the lab 10 minutes before my appointment and I check in as soon as I'm walking into the front door. They call me inside as soon as I set down on a chair. I'm in and out of the office in less than 10 minutes. What else I can ask for? I guess the key is to make sure you have your appointment set up online as soon as your doctor sends you to the labs. Everything is so easy and no waiting at all. Don't complain if you're decided to walk in with no appointment. They can't control how many and when all the customers are coming at the same time! read more

I walked in after checking in 10 mins early online...( mind you they had about 5 appts available an hour before this) and the first woman I talked to says " I'm busy with a patient right now I can't help you" ( the woman behind the front desk)(she was tall with tan skin and dark hair) she said it very rudely...like i was in the wrong place... 25 mins into our original appt time...waiting ... wondering when some will actually help us and treat us with some common courtesy. Maybe this woman should show the common courtesy that they ask for from us, the patients. The other lady that helped us was nice...that's the only reason they got stars. They moved location across the street in a new building with parking and a easier process than before. When you walk in you check in on the iPad and your name will show up on the screen with your wait time. I noticed they have 6 rooms inside and they process your paper work and do your labs at the same time. Now I wait for something bad to happen ;) Prior to coming, I tried to make an appointment approx 24hrs in advance, but they didn't have anything I needed. Then when I went looking for the old Quest on Scripps, I quickly realized I forgot about the new one. The new spot is nice and clean. The iPads, which I believe you use to check in, were down. She went old school with a paper check-in list. Not an issue at all. The waiting room is one huge square with chairs line all around the room. We all strategically placed ourselves with plenty of empty chairs between us. They call your name, then ask you to wait in the hallways. Inside there are cubby like rooms for each person. An employee will come get you when it's your turn. From here is the same as usual. Name. Blah. Blah. Blah. Can't don't veins well. Poke. Switch vile. Nah. Blah. Self. Done. Pro Tip: Even if your fasting juice up those veins with water! Then they send you in your way! Painless and in a nicer setting. Observed employees being very rude and uncaring to other patients in the waiting area. They seemed unwilling to help an elderly man checkin for his appointment and some of the people working there outright dismissed him. She did my blood draw just 5 mins before closure and was very professional. She spoke to me like a human being. The receptionist was super friendly and all staff including the person who drew my grandma's blood was very kind. If you think making an appointment is any guarantee you will be seen at that time......forget it. Plan on AT LEAST a 1 hour wait past your appointment time. This has happened to me consistently and to all the other folks in the waiting room. I have tried to schedule my appointments on different days and/or times with the same outcome. Just over a year since I last reviewed this laboratory station and since I'm sitting here right now thought to myself; oh what the hell lets do it. Whenever possible I recommend scheduling your lab tests using Quest.com's website. Of course that's not always feasible since more times than not the reason you're having said tests done in the first place is because your sick and feel like a hammered piece of crap. I lucked out the first few times I walked-in sans an appointment back in 2014 however every single time since then I have walked into an overcrowded, all seats taken, standing room only setting. And immediately turn around and walk right back out. Hell to the no! The phlebotomy staff has always been decent sticks and more pleasant than the front desk staff who just like today lived up to their nearly 2 year record of snotty rude and immature behavior. This has become one of my least favorite blood draw stations due solely to the unprofessional and lacking in basic mannerism and etiquette front office girls and I say girls as today's draw looks to be under 18 at best. Wow.... Today I'm listening involuntarily nonetheless to the girls discuss how to get their personal passports and arrange for international travel and how the rudest one who isn't wearing a Quest name badge was just hired recently. QD, open your wallet and hire more people!!! I need a morning appointment for my son and all of Sacramento is booked two weeks in advanced. I'm told that they are not accepting walk-ins. QD is now officially a menace to the health care system by delaying critical information to doctors. You can go to UCD health and have a blood test within minutes. You may need to wait as long as 30 minutes at Kaiser, but Hills Physicians forces us to use Quest Diagnostics which is the poster child of medical rationing. This may well be a good lab. I don't know. The parking is atrocious, and although I had an appointment I wasn't able to park, so I couldn't get in. The lab is located in a shopping center with a restaurant nearby, and a Safeway supermarket, and my appointment was at noon, so that was probably the source of my inability to park. I spent about 15 minutes crawling around the parking lot looking for a place in vain.
