Confirmation of an appt when business is closed.

I made an appointment for August 29 at 110. I got to the lab at 1230 and they were closed. When I came in on the next working day September 2 they said sorry but they can't honor not over ride the computer. Super frustrated as it's a dating blood test and that a person can't override the system that booked me the days previously.

If I could give 0 stars that's what I would give. Been here over an hour, the self check in said 30-60 minutes yet we are still here. They work so slow I don't understand why they are so slow, all they are doing is drawing blood and picking up piss! SMDH! We have been stuck at 5 for 45 minutes WTF! Had I not been here this long already, I would have left! This is why I stick with kaiser!

Very good experience at this Quest Diagnostics of my lab works for my annual body checkup. I made an appointment online and they have me finish most of the paper works online before I come in. They texted me one day in advance to confirm my appointment. They texted me again one hour before to remind me. And they sent me a link to check in when I'm there. Excellent of using the technology! I'm in the lab 10 minutes before my appointment and I check in as soon as I'm walking into the front door. They call me inside as soon as I set down on a chair. I'm in and out of the office in less than 10 minutes. What else I can ask for? I guess the key is to make sure you have your appointment set up online as soon as your doctor sends you to the labs. Everything is so easy and no waiting at all. Don't complain if you're decided to walk in with no appointment. They can't control how many and when all the customers are coming at the same time!

The courtesy they ask of patients...that they don't show in return.

I walked in after checking in 10 mins early online...( mind you they had about 5 appts available an hour before this) and the first woman I talked to says " I'm busy with a patient right now I can't help you" ( the woman behind the front desk)(she was tall with tan skin and dark hair) she said it very rudely...like i was in the wrong place... 25 mins into our original appt time...waiting ... wondering when some will actually help us and treat us with some common courtesy. Maybe this woman should show the common courtesy that they ask for from us, the patients. The other lady that helped us was nice...that's the only reason they got stars. Update...finally seems almost an hour after set appt. The cool lady with the hippy headband drew her blood..and was very kind in doing it. But it just goes to show...one bad person can make a whole nice team look bad.

They moved location across the street in a new building with parking and a easier process than before. When you walk in you check in on the iPad and your name will show up on the screen with your wait time. I noticed they have 6 rooms inside and they process your paper work and do your labs at the same time. Staff was great , wait time still busy so make an appointment for quicker process. painless , LIKE THE NEW PLACE

1 1/2 already.... walk in...

Are you usually a patient person? Are you generally flexible? Do you understand their business model (P&L's)? Do people usually brag about how fun you are and 99% of people enjoy your presence? Do you have too many things to do? Is your office…

It's crazy busy and the kiosk told me to come back 4 1/2 hours later. OK, no problem. But I was feeling a little concerned so I tried to call the customer service line to make sure they can take my paperwork. Still no human to talk to. Only an AI assistant who can make or break an appointment for you. They cannot answer any questions. So I go back at the time it told me to, wait in the waiting area for 20 minutes. They call me back and the attendant was very nice, but she had never seen the type of paperwork I had for the preemployment drug screening. So long story short, they could not do my test and I spent most of the business day trying to figure it out. They were nice and they did give me a list of labs that might possibly do it. I would return to this business, it seems like they do a lot of lab tests that are reasonably priced that you can pay for independently. Stuff that your doctor might give you a hard time about like hormone, testing, etc. But don't come here with a preemployment drug screening.

I took my very confused dementia ridden Mother to this quest location today. It's is not her…read moreregular Quest location she frequents so that caused some confusion and discomfort. I told her I chose this one because it's cleaner, friendly and less crowded. Well our experience today confirmed my position in choosing this location. We were helped by a young man named Miguel who was kind, caring, attentive, and patient. We did not have our typical Jack in the box drive thru experience as we usually do at our former location (Howe and Fair Oaks). Kudos to Miguel and who ever manages this location.

Unacceptable 15-Minute Notice Cancellation…read more I arrived at 7:00 AM for a scheduled 7:30 AM fasting blood draw. There was zero physical signage on the door indicating the Quest lab was closed for building maintenance. I only received a digital cancellation notice at 7:15 AM. Furthermore, this happened on a Monday morning. There is no excuse for corporate management not to notify patients over the weekend that scheduled building maintenance would close the lab. Because this building offers a 20-minute parking grace period, a simple sign on the front door would have allowed patients to immediately turn around and exit the parking lot for free. By leaving no physical notice, waiting patients were forced to exceed that 20-minute window and pay for parking at a closed facility. A last-minute cancellation like this is completely unacceptable for patients who are actively fasting or relying on strict medical transport and family schedules. Leaving patients stranded outside with no physical sign on the door is incredibly poor management.
