I made this review to highlight Tae B., who was an absolute delight! I had a HORRIBLE experience at the Timberlake location where the phlebotomist literally didn't care about me. ZERO stars. She stuck me twice and couldn't get it done. Because of her incompetence, I was referred to their Scripps location where I had a completely different experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tae B. was kind, patient and caring. She made sure I was comfortable (I'm a hard stick and I HATE getting my labs done) and gave me all the tricks of the trade on how to make future blood draws a positive experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She went out of her way to reassure me and she is excellent at her job. I felt a tiny pinch, but no pain. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The gentleman at the desk was a hoot as well. He made jokes and it seemed like he understood that blood draws cause anxiety for some.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole experience was easy going even though I was a bundle of nerves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I won't forget how I was made to feel at this location. BEST Labcorp operation in their system. From check-in to the blood draw, everything runs smoothly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a lot of people needing labs, so I recommend making an appointment online. The online appointment process is simple & you can check-in virtually from the parking lot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One if their greatest assets is the technician who checks you in (haven't got his name). He is very friendly, kind, tries to make you smile, and super helpful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. When the other technicians are busy, he also steps away to draw blood as well. He is very skilled and makes the entire process a breeze. I actually look forward to coming back whenever labs may be due again. I've been to other LabCorp locations in CA and AZ, and can affirm that this location at 1 Scripps Drive is the best. I'm not sure what has changed but this location for LabCorps is incredibly disorganized and short staffed. Currently 10:30a and I only see one phlebotomist and no one is at the front desk. And there's a gentleman who's been here since 9:00a for his 9:30 appt! (Shout out to that guy, he was really nice) [[HIGHLIGHT]]They changed their availability to appointment only. Which they let everyone know by taping a paper to the front door...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The older gentleman who seems to be running the operation seemed frazzled and stressed and the only other employee in the house looked like she was training.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From the waiting room, it looks like there is very little time to give care to the patients. How come there aren't more people working at this location? And why has it gotten to this point where wait times are over an hour long for a 5-10 minute appt? I came here for a routine urine drug screen for school and had the worst experience. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give a full sample on my first attempt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead of handling the situation with patience and professionalism, the woman leading the exam raised her voice at me and made unnecessary, rude comments saying things like I "do everything last minute."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That is simply untrue, as I came in the very same day my program notified me. The way I was treated was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. A medical testing facility should provide a supportive and courteous environment, not hostility. Because of this encounter, I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I made an appointment at another location but when I arrived there they had a sign on the door stating that it was closed and to go to this location. I did and they were luckily able to see me at this location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The phlebotomist that helped me out was very nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], however, my 3 hour glucose test was preformed incorrectly (not correct time frames for a glucose test) and my OB said I have to redo it and recommended that I go to Quest. Type of Care: routine blood work Office experience: good enough! Care Quality: good enough! Google Maps is weird and doesn't quite get you there as of Aug 2023. It's most easily accessed off an adjacent, larger road. Give yourself extra time if you've not been to the office before. I can understand why the reviews comment on the (lack of?) customer service. The front desk staff present when I was there appear to also be the routine care staff. They're no nonsense. Recommend making an appointment online (most streamline experience I've had with that type of service, better than my own primary care's portal system). Use the tablet to check-in, get in, out, and on with your day. More complex lab work mileage may vary, but I was satisfied with my level of care. read more

Raquita is by far the most amazing person in that facility. So welcoming and warm, very educated and has excellent customer service. If you don't like needles like myself she will make you feel so comfortable and lets you know what she's doing step by step. She even PRAYED over me since not being able to draw blood at another facility before coming here and getting pricked almost 8 times!!! I mistakenly walked into the new Quest across the street and tried to check in before realizing I wasn't at Labcorp. No caffeine and fasting and running late and never having been to this Labcorp, I wasn't paying attention. Quest had a waiting room that was packed. When I realized I was in the wrong place, I crossed the street and walked into the correct office. There was one other person waiting and one person seeking a drug screen that apparently is not a service this location provides. I was greeted by a young woman who told me how to check in. I then ran back out to the car and came right back, and they were ready for me. I also had a text indicating so. Another young woman escorted me into the drawing room where she effortlessly collected the routine sample. I was out of there in just a few minutes. read more

Came in today for my pre-employment drug screening. I had made an appointment beforehand for 2:00pm. I waited a little over 30 minutes for my drug screening but it was no problem. The older caucasian gentleman at the front desk assisted me and he was really friendly. He was also the same person to assist me with my drug screening procedure. He made the entire process a breeze. I went in for a drug test for school, while the girl who was working seemed pleasant and happy, the older guy was not. The guy dropped my urine cup on the floor and proceeded to give it to me anyway...eww. Then after i gave him my sample and sanitized my hands, signed everything, i asked not once but twice if i could wash my hands, the first time he said the other bathroom was occupied and i couldnt (even tho there were two sinks near me) and the second time he also said the same thing even tho it was empty. The girl replied back as she heard me asked and said it was okay since it wasn't occupied. Mansss totally just doesn't care if you wash your hands. Here on a Wednesday at 1:30pm for a drug screen and been waiting for a good 30 minutes. Door is locked but hours state they are open from 7am-11:30am and 12:30pm-4pm. There are people inside because we can hear them from the outside. There is currently 15 people out here waiting. I wouldn't recommend this location. Update: one guy decided to open the door and to our surprise, it was open. There were 2 ladies at the front desk, both with a smirk on their faces. One of them said, "Some people have trouble opening the door." 4 people tried to open the door, I just wished one of them came out and open the door for us. Customer service is poor. The specimen collector by the name I believe Sterling, J. was one of The funniest guys at a lab (or medical setting) I've ever met. He had me laughing the whole time. The WORST lab I have ever been to. They close at 4:00 so I got here at 3:05 for my drug screen. The cut off for drug screening is 3:00 and the older man with short gray hair told me to come back the next day. HE DID NIT GIVE ME A SPECIFIC TIME. I came back the next day. I couldn't pee quite enough the this extremely rude, large blonde woman was going to give me a refusal! I told her I just needed a few minutes because I just drank a 30 oz tea. She didn't care, she FORCED me to drink more water or THREATENED to give me a refusal. Then she proceeds to shame, talk down to me and rush me because it's almost her lunch time. I was also NOT TOLD that there are specific drug screening hours. Absolutely disgusting behavior and extremely unprofessional. read more

Waited an hour and a half to be seen after checking in at my appointment time. Lobbed full of angry patients also waiting.

Very satisfied with the service. No appointments needed the service is very quick. From the time I got and out, it took me less than 5 minuets. You come in, register in the computer and go to pee. I'm really glad because when I was doing drug test for employment, I was there in line for 2 hours in quest diagnostics. So I'm happy. Moreover the results came back to me 24 hours later. When I walked in there was a lady behind the front desk of Indian dissent who looked up at me with a very rude look on her face I greeted her and said hello she did not respond I waited a moment and I said hello again that is when she finally acknowledged me after looking at me and said how she could help me I advise that I was there to do a pre-employment screening and the lady was so rude in regards to this and it wouldn't have probably been that big Of deal had she handled it a little better I'm a firm believer if you are going to be the one at the front desk you should be at least friendly somewhat and greet someone not stare at them like they have something wrong with them read more

Someone comes then asks if I have checked in, I said no that's why I have been waiting her for 10 min. He then tells me I need to check In at the kiosk.
