I took my very confused dementia ridden Mother to this quest location today. It's is not her regular Quest location she frequents so that caused some confusion and discomfort. I told her I chose this one because it's cleaner, friendly and less crowded. Well our experience today confirmed my position in choosing this location. We were helped by a young man named Miguel who was kind, caring, attentive, and patient. We did not have our typical Jack in the box drive thru experience as we usually do at our former location (Howe and Fair Oaks). Kudos to Miguel and who ever manages this location. read more

This place is so poorly set up. You need an appointment just to do a urine test. I had a UTI and was in so much pain. My doctor sent me here to get a urine test done. Had to wait over an hour to pee in a cup while hurting so bad and basically peeing myself. They need to do better and have a better system. The employees have such little compassion for those waiting. I unfortunately couldn't get an appointment and could not take my prescribed antibiotics until I did the test. read more

As a person who regularly faints when getting blood drawn, I am appreciative of my experience here this morning. My phlebotomists name was either Jessica or Jennifer, and after I told her that I'm prone to fainting with blood work, she had me lie down instead of sitting in the chair. She completed the draw very quickly and was friendly and not judgemental. I was in and out within 10 minutes of my appointment time. I will definitely return here for next year's labs. read more

One at mercy I've had to use the Jst facility many time. Never had an issue. Now lately ( so Covid issues) can't be helped. When you call. It takes forever. If you miss something recording starts over. Can't just walk in either get reprimanded an told to sit down an wait. Which I was doing already. Other day waited 20 min just to pick up a sample cup. You could hear them talking in the back about there house the weekend etc. if you get upset with a few of them you will wait longer. Not all staff are like this. But they who they are. read more

Loved that this location offers Saturday appointments. The staff is efficient and friendly. You can do mobile check-in. I parked in the garage and ended up paying $4. You could look for street parking if you are feeling lucky. But with the price of gas these days, you might as well pay the $4. read more

Happened again. They didnt have my appt in their ipad. No live person to figure out the problem. 4 th time in 6 months. I signed up as walk in until i could get a live person. while waiting 2 other people who showed up could not sign in and the walk ins where filled for the day. Its 8 AM. Accosted the lady who does the work as she opened the door. Took my name. Other clients she let in left and she never came back to tell me status. I left, this visit was last straw. I already told our doctors of the issue we are having with quest, ine told me name of another service, and advised to check insurance first. I have a copy of the confirmation text that i resent myself, otherwise no original text or email qr code to be found. Spent 30 min trying to find, junkmail everything searched, especially in this day and age of tons of spam emails. When you make an appt, even online, you expect to find it, but if your ipad receptionist cant help you, its time to take back that bonus you gave your IT executive for firing all the receptionists. Not enough openings for appointments, cutbacks that benefit profits but compromises patient health! I had to wait two days for an appointment for a blood draw which included searching all Sacramento area Quest Diagnostics labs. This is an unacceptable delay to my heath care. Kaiser and UC Davis Medical that dominate the region provides same day lab service with no appointments and small wait times. Quest's substandard performance, or, in other words, healthcare rationing is causing delays in treatment that should be criminal. Quest brags that they serve 5 million in this county but fail to mentioned that this represents only 1.5 percent of the population. That is, 98.5 percent of Americans don't use their crappy service. People should complain to their health insurance provider and remind them that that we have choices and can easily move to different medical group that doesn't use Quest unless there is improvement. read more

Just 24 hours after having a blood draw done in Arden Arcade with less than a savory experience returned at the Professional Drive location I found myself in downtown Sac having an ultrasound and in need of yet another round of blood tests. So what to do when your sick as all hell, weak, exhausted, nauseated and just want to return home to sleep but also sorta wishing someone would just accidentally mow ya down in the street just to end the misery? Ya Yelp for the closet Quest Lab in the area. Unfortunately this lil gem of a location did not appear in the search results but I stumbled upon it while in the Mercy Medical Plaza on this day from hell. So either people have been keeping this sweet spot to themselves or people really don't know it's here. Jill unlocked the doors to this rather tucked away Quest Diagnostics Labratory located on the ground level floor at promptly 1230pm as they close for lunch. I was the only person there waiting to be serviced. Score!!! There's a comfortable bench which can seat a solid 3 people located right outside their doors which was beyond appreciated as I was too weak to stand while waiting. Unable to snap photos once inside the doors due to privacy regulations in place which is also a good thing in my book. This location is not open on Saturdays. Parking? There is onsite parking for a fee in their covered garage which I've used many times however one can also find free "2 hour parking" along the street BUT be sure to look for the city of Sac signs very carefully for if you don't you may very well return with a $30+ parking ticket from the cops. This has happened to me twice. Bastards... Toggled back and forth as to the should I publically disclose this hidden gem of a clean, quick and friendly lab as they are beyond hard to find so I sorta wanted to keep it all to myself but decided to share the discovery with the world instead so be kind to Jill as her genuinely kind disposition, empathetic and professional ways are exactly what we need and appreciate when we're in need of medical services and not at our best. read more

Customer service is terrible. Impossible to get ahold of a person to schedule an appointment, only stupid robots. My son is disabled and I need to talk to a person about his care and draw before making an appointment. Quest does not want to talk to people a head of time. The people that check you in at 3000 " Q" Street can be nice or pushy, they definitely are unprofessional.They were loudly discussing football games, while they needed to concentrate on processing clients for blood draws.My veins are small and can be a challenge to stick, Darrell and Gary are excellent, if someone misses 2 times , they get another person, and they make you wait 20 minutes . Recently they lied to me. Refused to send my blood results to My Quest( they always sent it , and were suppose to) . I called to complained and was nice during call, but they hung up, unprofessional. Will go somewhere else. First time coming to this location. I've been to many quest diagnostics and this was my best experience. Gianna greeted me at the front desk and she was very inviting, friendly and energetic. Makes it nice when you know that you have to get blood drawn! Then she was the one to assist me with drawing my blood. She found my vein right away and was very gentle and effective. The best part is she kept a great conversation going and 7 tubes later, I couldn't believe I was done! She made the time fly by and I didn't even feel the needle. My favorite part about this visit was when a doctor came in as a patient (I saw his Dignity Health badge) because he needed a blood draw. He was considered a "walk-in." After about 5 minutes, he literally walked to the back room and asked to be seen next as he had patient appointments to get to (The time was about 7:35 am, so I assume his patient's appointments began at 8:00am). The lab tech very politely said he needed to honor the check-in times and get to those that had appointments first. That made me feel good. Made an appointment for 8:45am on a Saturday morning for a fasted blood draw.... wasn't actually taken back until 9:10. 25 minute wait. And while I was waiting a walk in pregnant woman came in and she asked the wait time and the receptionist told her 30 minutes.
