Anyways around 10:25 they sent me a text message to come on in and get my blood work. I was happy. I was not worried no more since I work this day. Then Dominique she was super wonderful. She made everything so smooth. If I need to get my blood work again I want Dominique to do it again. She was gentle she made everything smooth. I asked questions and she answered them. The facility inside looks clean bathroom clean too. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Yes I do. My experience was different from everyone else. I came out the facility before 11 am.

This has to be one of the best labs I've ever had the "pleasure" of getting tortured. Well I…read morewouldn't say tortured but getting blood drawn is not my idea of fun. Getting my kids blood drawn is even less of a good time. Well I've been to a few but when it comes to my children I will only bring them here. My son gets blood drawn quite a few times a year. He has Autism and he has the hardest time letting anyone (strangers) touch him. I have always taken him here because although there's always a different person, they always approach him with lots of patience, lots of compassion and lots of care. I sit my son on my lap and between the phlebotomist and myself we make sure that he is comfortable and that his arm is in a stable position as not to hurt him in the process. Some days are easier than others but it always gets done. I am writing this review because if you have no issues getting blood drawn then where you go doesn't really matter but if you have a child with SPECIAL NEEDS then this place is absolutely the one to go to for wonderful staff and getting the job done.

Clean lobby area and friendly staff. Checked in on my phone at 10:20, called into the room at 10:30, my scheduled time. Greeted by technician Mirla, who was funny, personable and professional at the same time. We had small talk and she literally told me she enjoys her job; what a great employee attitude! I went at opening because I've had to do a drug test for another workplace at another place in the past, first come-first serve, and it was longer than I wanted to be there.. Figured it wouldn't be busy at opening and it wasn't. I filled out a form at the window, the guy took my ID.. after the paperwork, he lead me towards his desk where I put my bag in a filing cabinet, locked and was given the key. I took a plastic cup from the desk and went into the restroom with the red door and peed. It hella smelled like piss in that bathroom (and I went at opening). They give you instructions and how much pee is needed to no flushing and I couldn't wash my hands afterward. I put the pee filled cup on a paper towel on his desk where he took the temp and did the instant test on it and allowed me to go back and wash my hands.. That door handle must be pretty nasty through the day. I was in-and-out. I don't want to get into drug testing debates. It's a headache but if you want to work in some places, it's a reality.

Communication with the phlebotomist will help to minimize miscommunication, provide clarification and eliminate unnecessary pokes. You are your best historian, so speak up about your veins, i.e. small, like to peek & retreat, rollover, needle type that has worked in the past such as a 'Butterfly', ecetera. With an appointment, being seen on time is the result, because Quest policy is to provide service to all scheduled appointments prior to servicing walk-ins. Waiting area is sufficient for mobility devices such as wheelchairs , walkers, canes and more. Blood draw area can be a tight squeeze for wheelchairs but the phlebotomists rearrange things to make access. With a scheduled appointment, an experience at Quest has the potential to be optimum. Oh, have insurance card or payment ready at the time of appointment or optionally, input health insurance information under the profile section in the MyQuest system when scheduling appointment. Anything to save time. Time is a priceless commodity.
