I have used this postal annex for years and until yesterday enjoyed the convenience and customer service. Last Thursday I went in with an express envelope a friend had already provided postage for. My intent was to just drop it off for mail pick up. My friend's post office in SoCal used international postage and this caused quite an upset to Jessica. Jessica check the amount was correct but was just unsure. I told her I was willing to put it another envelope and pay the higher postal annex cost (nearly double the postage on the envelope). She insisted she wanted to check with USPS that would pick up and would call me. Her intensity around it triggered a customer behind me to say "couldn't she just take it to the post office." I told him I enjoy the convenience of this Postal Annex. She did call me later and was unsure. By then I had spoken with my friend and explained to Jessica that the post office placed the postage. She decided it would be ok and would send it out. This was priority mail and by Monday my friends post office had not received it. I called the annex to inquire if they MIGHT have scanned. A different employee said no but she would check with her driver on Wed as he did scan it. On Tuesday, I get an unsolicited, agitated call from Jessica saying she had a note, basically super pissy at me that no one scanned it, why would they, etc. I was like hey "I just called to see if you might have scanned it since I told you it needed to be there next day. I wish I had just put it a new envelope and paid the $50. But you talked me out of doing that." She began to deny that she had done so and continued her intensity over the scanning and international stamps. So I ended the call and this ends my years of use and adoration for this small, local business. read more

We came by for their lamination service. I thought we would see the standard shipping/mailing products, but once inside, there was so much more that I didn't anticipate browsing. There was only 1 lady working who was helping a customer ahead of us, so we waited for a little while. We kept ourselves occupied looking at everything. Some of the products they sell on top of shipping supplies-- Greeting cards (a lot of them) Small bags, pouches, wallets Magnets Socks Oven mitts Gift bags Candles Keys & keychains Stickers Office supplies Wine bottle holders The lady was very friendly and conversational. The customer service at this location is TERRIBLE, specifically the service from the short woman with red hair. On my first visit, she appeared visibly irritated when I inadvertently attached a label incorrectly. While I initially dismissed this as a one off occurrence, I experienced similar rudeness during my visit today. After taking my package, she abruptly asked, "Is there something else?" When I requested a receipt, she sharply replied, "If you want a receipt, you need to ask for a receipt!" Due to her rudeness, I will never visit this location again! read more

Big lady with short red hair and freckles has horrible customer service. Was telling some lady off in front of us when walking in which we thought was strange then was extremely rude to us. She should not be working here. If I could give zero stars I would. She's soooo rude and does not belong in customer service. She canceled my apt the day before last minute then did NOT tell us that the fingerprinting lady doesn't come in until after 11. So we wasted our time two days in a row. read more

I used to avoid this place at ALL COST, due to its poor service and horrendously unfriendly management. I was in a pinch and simply needed to drop off mail so I wandered in to the best surprise ever... are you sitting down? NEW OWNERSHIP! Man, what a transformation. The new owner has turned this business around completely. The customer service is now phenomenal, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend giving this place another try if you haven't been here in a while. It's now one of my favorite spots! read more

Hands down one of the WORST postal annex places I've ever been to. Both girls they work there are is so rude and completely unhelpful. They also limit USPS drop-offs to FIVE packages, which is absurd for a place that claims to be a shipping center. If you have actual shipping needs, this is not the place. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. Avoid this Postal Annex at all costs. read more

This Postal Annex store has really nice and helpful staff!! I stopped by today to return a few Amazon packages, and sadly, I wasn't able to return two of them since the shipping cost with tracking would have been more than triple what I paid for them (I'll check to see if I can get a hold of the seller). Anyways, Jessica B was so kind and went out of her way to check where the packages were sent from, how much it would cost to return them with or without tracking, and she also gave me some good advice for future Amazon purchases so I don't run into this issue again. Very poor customer service. Agent had me wait for the other personnel who is in charge of live scan as she was on break. I waited patiently for 15 minutes. When more customers came in i was told they will finish the line first as I was just doing live scan. So, this is not a first come first served business, and personnel will humiliate you infront of other customers. No respect for customer's time as well. read more

I went here for the first time a bit ago because it is one of the only locations in the Roseville area that partners with DHL for return packages. Before my necessary return, I had yet to learn this place existed. The staff is exceptionally friendly when you walk in, but the store is small and overwhelming. Upon entering, the paid mailboxes are directly in the front and can cause a traffic jam at the front of the building. When you get past that point, there still is little room. Most of the space is taken up by nicknacks that people can buy and throw in their packages, but as you get further into the store, you find the actual packing and mail things (i.e., tape, boxes, labels, etc.). If you are coming here to drop something off, it's a great place. The parking is massive because it backs up to a grocery store, and you can be in and out. Although I have been a steady customer for the past 11 years, I can honestly say, the business is absolutely better than it's ever been. New owners took over earlier this year and the quality of services provided improved greatly. We used to walk on eggshells with the previous ownership. This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Two of their customer service representatives hung up on me when they were in the wrong. One of them completely blew off a live scan appointment that was prepaid for. The manager never showed up or called like he promised he would on the Monday following his employees rude behavior. I would never go to this place again. I give zero stars. read more
