I got my daughters passport done here. Didn't take that long till our names got called to pay for her passport. I guess it's less busy on Thursdays? Front desk guy was really nice too, I didn't get his name, but he let us stay inside because it was really hot outside (although the signs inside said "when you're done filling up your application, wait OUTSIDE or else you won't be called). read more

This is the worse run post office if you have to go inside. The click n ship website is always broken and you have to go in to drop it is disorganized with multiple lines no ticket numbers and generally the worst run PO I have ever been to read more

Benzan is one of the window clerk employee that is not so helpful and so unfriendly to customers. If you say good morning he'll just look at you.(RUDEometer!) strike 1. I asked how much will I pay if I want to have a tracking number on my mail instead he gave me something else because it's cheaper. Strike#2. I don't care if I have to pay for the tracking for as long as I know I can keep track of it, I have money to pay for it. I also asked him what time they will close for the day and he told me it's too early to close now. Strike#3. He doesn't give a a very satisfactory customer service. read more

The USPS seems to find a way to hire all the morons into one place. Great career with a lot of like minded individuals being a waste of oxygen. Horrible slow service, dumb looks if you actually speak to them, horrible insurance. Basically if anything goes wrong, don't attempt to contact them. When it works, it's alright. If anything goes wrong, you're screwed. Dealing with these losers makes my head hurt. Hopefully one day they shut down this government run postal service and send these retards out to sea on an iceberg. read more

Efficient - patient - helpful! Supervisor, Ashley, walked me through challenges of multiple forwards and change of address AND advised me on the best way to send some important documents. So appreciate the expertise and help! read more

Yay! I'm a fan of mailing stuff :) Well my visit today was to make an appointment for my daughter to get a passport. -- IF they actually had someone answering the phone, it would have saved me a trip over there, but it's always nice being able to rack up another check-in, am i right? My previous trip: I am sure NOT mailing holiday gifts to the mainland family would have been the easiest LOL Buuut since all those sisters, parents and nieces want their goodies, I'll brave the dreaded "mail by" delivery deadline. Let me tell you, people, you NEED to swing by in advance and stockpile a few USPS Priority boxes. Then make sure all the goodies you buy to mail will FIT in said boxes. Lots of packing tape later, log onto USPS website and follow the steps to print out your own shipping labels. NEVER FEAR, these priority boxes are like one-size-fits-all! Pre-priced for one flat rate. say it with me, "SuWeet!" Print, tape to the box and pile into the car. You're headed to the PO where you simple drop off, let me repeat that so it's clear ...Drop Off... your boxes. No lines! No wait. I literally walked up to the package deposit boxes out front at the Do It Yourself shipping center and shoved my boxes in. Easy Peasy. *huge sigh of relief* Also a friendly shout out to the parking lot attendant guys who were on point helping traffic flow. That was a nice touch USPS. read more

I usually come here to get my packages if not sent to my home directly and today around 9:20am (10.22.18) I went to go pick up a package here and the lady who was helping me was VERY RUDE even though I was being respectful and patient the whole time. Don't work in the front if you can't deal with customers respectfully. read more

They are one of the fastest usps I have been to. On the other hand, they NEVER, repeat NEVER, answer their phone. I have no idea why they even have a phone. Trying to make an appointment (which states it's required by the website) for a passport. I will have to make an extra trip over to make an appointment because they will not answer the phone. read more

Although they provide a self-service kiosk that is available 24-7, it's fairly useless because they lock the package drop off doors when they aren't open. read more

Worst post office ever! Never answer their phone. I've called them 3 days straight like 20x and no one answered nor did the voicemail work. The mailman delivered my mail to the wrong address and did not know which address they delivered it to. Just horrible. Luckily the company I ordered from sent me a replacement order. There is no acountability or customer service. I would recommend sending packages via FEDEX. read more

I usually go to the post office at Ala Moana but since I was at home this was closer. Usually I don't mind waiting because the service is quick, but the worker who was helping me the day I went in completely left me waiting at the counter for 15 minutes while she went on her break. I wouldn't have minded and would have gladly went to stand back in line if I had known she was going to go on break. I finally had to ask another worker where she went and I'm guessing she told her coworker I've been waiting so she finally came out to help me. Regardless of the poor service from this one worker, whom I would not like to name, everything else about this location is great. read more

I was so surprised when the person on the other end of the phone call actually picked it up after just one ring! Then he surprised me further when he was pleasantly and efficiently informative. I am sad I do not know who it was but i am sure he is still there. When I got there, things went quickly, for passport purposes. I expected to be there for many hours, but I had my things together (since the aforementioned person advised me what to bring), and it took less than an hour. Other post offices seem to never answer, or even care about your issue once you get them (finally) on the phone. This place is the best! read more

They were nice, friendly, patient with me, suggested practical alternatives to high shipping prices (I was shipping stuff to my home on the mainland). Man, I wish I got the name of the lady that helped me because she was AWESOME. I usually walk in to a post office expecting a fight but she was super and really understanding. Thank you lady that helped me because you are the reason that I will keep using the post office even here at home. read more

This is my post office of choice. There is plenty of parking. The staff is friendly. The lines move quickly, so don't get discouraged if you walk in and the line is to the door. They have convenient drive up boxes. read more

YAY LET'S GO TO THE POST OFFICE, said no one ever. But honestly, this post office is legit. I can only really make it on the weekends, but the workers are so darn fast I can barely set a new high score in Tsumstsums before it's my turn! The employees are also mostly friendly and helpful in telling you the exact steps you need to take to get your mail to the right place! Again, the post office is not the new hangout, but if I need to mail something I would definitely come to this location. read more

This is my go to post office because there is usually always parking and although the line is almost always long, it goes by pretty fast! The workers are usually friendly and helpful and there are a lot working at the same time. read more

Line went quickly. Even tho there was a four person line. Sometimes a line that long can take forever at a post office... but it didnt. Lady was very friendly. I had no issues and would prefer a USPS like this one everywhere. read more

They NEVER answer their phone. It has been a week and a supervisor has still not investigated my missing packages nor called me back! We were given a parcel locker key for two packages delivered last week. The locker for which the key belonged was already open (with key inserted) and empty. Multiple keys can open the same lockers and no one seems to care. I am out about $150 and a week's worth of time and stress. read more

Open until 6pm on weekdays ....Adequate # of drive-up mailboxes ...

Come early morning when they open. Pm line is brutal

I recently applied text msg alerts to my device so I would know when my package would be delivered... received a text ready to be picked up at this location. On site, clerk didn't even know about text messaging alerts. Showed her my notifications on my phone she then showed her peer and totally just shut me down without checking if my package came in. Also, she mentioned that my package will be available the next day at 9am. But my pick up slip states that they are open at 830am...very disappointed to experience this service. read more

Saved up an arm load of packages to send & finally made my way to the USPS to get them off my apartment floor & in the homes of the intended recipients. Early Saturday AM, there were few cars & no lines. I used an entire counter to set out my packages to begin the laborious task of completing customs, insurance & confirmation forms. Finally organized, the staff processed my multiple packages swiftly & courteously. I was in & out before I knew it! read more

This post office is a great location which stays open till about 6. There is always parking. The lines go fast especially with 4 postal workers constantly helping customers who are friendly even during their busiest times. If you need markers or pens there is a mini store right next door (cash only) with a cute lil ol lady to help you.The PO boxes are located outside in a well lit area and available 24/7 which is convenient for many local residents. As a military wife I'm constantly mailing care packages, gifts, cards, you name it out! So I need a reliable post office which is why I choose the airport united postal service for my needs over the UPS store at the NEX plus its actually cheaper too!! read more

Greatest post office on the island. Open till late in the evening. Shipping packages are faster off the island (it does get on the plane quicker!) And they got the load of flat rate boxes. Long lines are usually quick, and if you need a snack the shop outside got you covered. Parking is plentiful too! Your local Post office might be closed at 4, but this spot got you covered! Unless its Sunday, gotta have one day of rest right! read more

This location may look scary, but it's really not. You'll usually see a long line that goes to the door, but those postal employees here get the line moving very quickly. They also have the automated postal machine as well which is super convenient. I usually hate when I need to go to the post office, but this one is an exception, it's not a horrible experience. Plus, they have late hours of operation! Yay for that! read more

Plenty of parking, gets super crowded at times, good customer service. THE question is why Yelp lists this location as being in Honokaa?!?

Check out the 24/7 kiosk on the right of the office! It's Awesome! Just follow the directions on the screen, pay with your credit card, apply the postage sticker, and drop it in the opening! The parcel size is limited to the largest box that they provide for free. Forget the crowds!!! There are tons of free shipping boxes outside. read more

5 stars because out of all the other choices of post offices in Honolulu, these guys have the most agents . The line moves quickly. It gets to the mainland the fastest. At least a day faster than if you drop it at any other location. I had to mail a registered package once that had a high value. The lady working there let me use her paper tape ( a requirement for registered mail) and I sat thereon the sidelines for half an hour and gave it back to her. They are very patient and helpful because people try to ship stuff is all kinds of weird containers . Busiest times are lunch hour, after 3:30 , and the last few days before the holiday cutoff you will see an hour long line. read more

I have been waiting several days now for my package to arrive this afternoon. nothing came, and my confirmation receipt clearly states date of arrival for Aug. 24, 2012. The confirmation even reads: will arrive ON or BEFORE Aug. 24, 2012. This Main-Land guy had so much excitement for the new item purchased online, that never came on said scheduled date, and fears package was lost in Honolulu's main sorting facility for USPS. After thoroughly reviewing tracking number for said package, I found the results upsetting because Honolulu's sorting facility has not yet update their website. When I checked prior to this review, my packaged had not yet left the Islands sorting facility according to previous updates on the tracking number. Conclusion: I made a purchase on Aug. 21, 2012 - Tracked shipping number - Written time of delivery on receipt - Epic Fail at Honolulu USPS Sorting Facility. I am currently still waiting for my package to come. --------------------Good Luck to You All, Celo M. Main-Land, USA read more
