I swear everytime I come wait times are 20 minutes or more. Short staffed, complex mailing issues, too many packages? No idea. Space is small and cramped so lines wrap around the inside pretty quickly. No quick ship option. PO boxes available. Limited supplies (boxes, tape, cards, etc) on the inside. All I can say is youre better off trying to go to another location that has more efficient service and can get you serviced quicker. Don't waste your time waiting.

Isn't he so cute all these manatees and being able to send out my letters have a little personality of this big boy floating to his next destination. Each and everyday I'm starting to appreciate my little neighborhood and how productive and efficient this spot is instead of going all the way to Downtown or Ala Moana or Kalihi this is my favorite spot to get my questions answered and packages delivered :)

Something that we do rely on is with the USPS and they certainly do deliver and as I continue on with my errands this one seems to be one of the most challenging as they do make it easy with the kiosk and various methods available. The location is bit hidden as it's right across Marks Building in Chinatown but there are several metered parking which I though the stars aligned as I immediately found parking just right in front of the post office and just took it as a sign to get it done so that my friend in SF who sends me packages as well to keep I touch is something very priceless to me and am so grateful to have someone like this and the service her as well are great so friendly and helpful and there was no one here which made it easy as well. For those that work in the downtown area, this location is perfect for and US Post office needs…read more Sometimes the line can be fairly long, especially during lunch hours but it usually moves along at a decent pace. All of the employees here have always been really helpful with any questions I've had. I remember once I had a medium flat rate priority mail box I was sending out and the worker mentioned since it was pretty light, it would be cheaper to send it in my own box by weight. Very nice of him to suggest that. Parking around the area is metered only and there's a lot across of merchant street between merchant and king. The can be full midday but a lot of parkers are in and out of there fast. The one thing I do want to mention for those that frequent this location is that if you drop off "Click N Ship" items here, the drop off window now opens at 0930, not 0900 like before.

The loathing of standing in line to mail a USPS flat rate boxes are the greatest convenience as you not only have a box ready to go the medium has a seal ready to go so it a matter of fill and stick. Not many post office has the self serve kiosk especially when their closed the convenience of this is amazing all you need to do is follow the prompts and a label prints out for you and drop it in the chute. This downtown building is just stunning and doesn't look like a post office at all from the outside and would have never know it was actually if it wasn't for my search on Yelp which helped me get it shipped. Though it's very convenient I really wished that they have the self service kiosk outside as it just doesn't make any sense to have it inside while it's open doesn't do it any justice. Everything is locked up so you need to grab all the boxes and envelops to pack all your items as I searched and searched for a post office but now many are locked up unless you have the code to enter I guess for PO Box holders only. Honolulu locations do close quite early for folks like me how work during the day is the biggest challenge to get there in time to grab my necessities though still won't make it to ship it since everything is locked up once they're closed. Nevertheless love this location but parking is the biggest challenge so it's a love hate relationship I have by getting things shipped on time. Thank you!

Then there's the US Post Office in Fort Shafter on December 22. Yes, you need base access. Yes, the address Siri gives you doesn't quite match up with the address posted on the outside of building. Yes, their hours of operation are limited. But at 2:00 pm, there is one car parked outside, a calm, cool environment inside, plenty of supplies, counter space to wrap/tape your box (with donated leftover tape available!), and a voice from the back letting you know he'll be right with you! I had the time to build a couple of boxes to see which one my items would fit in for the one price (best deal in town). Had a nice conversation with USPS professional at the counter, and bought some of the last Christmas themed stamps he had available. What a nice experience!

Mailing a letter in Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. This Post Office is in an unusual place... Under the freeway! Yes! Really! I guess they're making good use of the space. The parking lot is right there; and there are more spaces across the street! My visit was on a Thursday afternoon. I was on my way home when I realized that I had an envelope to mail. I took the far left lane and passed everyone waiting in traffic in the next lane. Sorry! Parking was free and easy! I could have stayed in the car and dropped my envelope in the curbside receptacle at the exit, but i wanted to go in and look around. The self-service kiosk comes in handy when you are the Do It Yourself kind of person or come after hours. There were free boxes and envelopes in the corner - ready for mailing! The greeting cards and office supplies were further inside of this post office. Overall, this post office is practical, clean, and spacious. It gets the job done!

Making sure that my mail gets sent promptly, I dropped my items off at this Moiliili Post Office. There's free parking in the shared lot. Rabbit Rabbit will be closing on 12.20.25, but Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera is still there. Note the unusual hours of this post office: Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 4pm. This is no ordinary post office…read more First off, it's not easy to find. Not by a longshot. It's not like you can put the address, 438 Hobron Ln in Waze and just drive right on over. That will only get you to beautiful Eaton Square. When they describe the location of this branch is in Eaton Square, they mean way up in there. You can't even see the office from the street. You need to find parking, and walk up into the complex. Way up. I had no idea where I was going, as it was my first visit to Eaton Square. To find the place, I figured I needed to think like I worked for the Postal Service. OK, so if I was Postal Service management, where would I locate this branch? I'd put it somewhere where no one could find it, that's where. Some place so rediculously remote, there's no way annoying customers could discover the location. Damn right! In the center of the square I spotted some stairs, but I couldn't tell where they went. Yes! That's got to be the way, I thought. Stairs are enough of an impediment to stop plenty of customers. I trudged up the stairs, and around a corner I noticed an indoor koi pond and fountain. Above the fountain there was a little mezzanine. I couldn't believe it, I had found the crazy Eaton Square Post office. There was one window open and a customer was being helped. I enjoyed the relaxing sound of the fountain and passed the time watching the koi swim around. I was very impressed with the customer service at this branch. The employee was helpful and efficient. The accessibility of having this on base is not only great but I use it constantly and not only have great experiences every single time but also get advice on the best way to package whatever I'm shipping. Constantly I see people coming in to just say hello to the staff when they don't even have anything to ship out. Sure you have to park and get into the hospital to use it but that's a small hurdle to have the ability to use it's services. And again, the staff is AMAZING!

The post office is located…read morenext to the mail room and near the credit union (can't remember the name) and across from the barbershop, florist, and optical shop. A very small post office which serves your basic postal needs. You can purchase stamps, mail out Media Mail, First Class Mail, Priority Mail, Express Mail, and International Mail items. They have a small supply of "flat rate" Priority boxes inside the post office as well as "decorated" packaging that you can purchase. The post office itself can only fit about 7 people in line (comfortably) and it can get tight as people are filling out addresses or forms on the counter. During Christmas I've seen the line out the door (as expected with any post office) but since this one is small it makes it that much more busy. There is also a blue bin outside where you can drop off your letters and First Class packages (less than 16 oz) which will be picked up at the close of business. Hours: Mon-Fri: 10:00am-2:00pm. Sat-Sun: Closed. Even though the hours are limited, it's nice to have a post office inside the hospital... if you really need something mailed out and you're at work, this is a great convenience! Staff is friendly and the line usually moves quickly. (so long as no one holds it up!)
