Snail mail... That's what my bestie always say and it kinda stuck with me lol but mailing a package is never easier with some of the selected post office and this Kahala location is one of them. Located just outside and behind Kahala Mall this post office has been around for decades though its modern features keeps it a favorite place of mine to mail my packages...obviously using the kiosk is a must during off hours and whether it's USPS Priority boxes or your own you can mail anything using the kiosk which also prints the labels for you so all you need is the information for its destination. Place the printed sticker and you're all set it's super easy and no lines making it the best deal in time savings ever...keep your besties close is easy with the services of our USPS. Thank you!

Mailing an Easter gift to the mainland from Honolulu, Hawaii... I found an appropriate gift for my God daughter in Virginia and needed to mail it. Several post offices in the downtown area were closed on a Saturday and some don't have free parking. I remembered the Kahala location of the US Postal Service and drove there. There were several empty stalls and a short line of customers inside. I tried the self-service kiosk, but my package was an unusual shape. I stood in line for a few minutes and in no time, I was done! I think my gift will arrive in time for Easter! Thank goodness for the Kahala Post Office and its efficient, competent staff! I appreciate the air conditioning, free Flat Rate Boxes, and clean environment! I'll be back!

How many of you folks send out gifts during the holidays???? Yes, da Christmas season is upon us, and a lot of times we use the US Postal Service to get our packages to our loved ones & friends all over the world. Normally, I try to avoid long lines because lines just suck! Lol! I normally do the "click & ship", or use the kiosk at the post office, but recently while trying to do the "click & ship" thing, the website was not working right so I was unable to do my thing. The 2nd best option is to use the kiosk, but again.........the kiosk wasn't working right either, so my last option was to wait in the long line with the other folks - like cattle. (Insert sad Panda Face here) On the bright side, coming to the Kahala Post Office was great! I must say that the workers at the Kahala location were pretty efficient, and very courteous! Although I had to wait in the long line, the line did move swiftly, and when I finally got to the counter, the postal clerk thanked me for my patience, which I in turn told them that the wait wasn't too bad, as I commended them for their very swift service. I guess not all Post Offices are bad, and if you do have to mail out something for a loved one, or friend, may I suggest you check out the Post Office at Kahala, as this post office is connected to the Kahala Mall shopping center.

No guarantee for priority express mail

No point in paying for 1-2 day priority express when service is not guaranteed. After paying for a 2 day express service and mail not arriving in time. Did some research (thought they lost my package, which happened before!!!) and found this on their website "For Priority Mail Express Items Addressed to or from Alaska and Hawaii: As of August 1, 2023, USPS will no longer process refund requests for guaranteed service on these items. Refund requests for loss will still be processed." If you need express mail service reliability, I'd look for another solution.

Hi-does this location have PO Boxes i can purchase?? -please let me know-thank you so much!!

I know this location has PO Boxes, but as far as availability of purchasing/renting a PO Box, it would probably be best to ask a postal clerk who works at this Kahala Post Office location, as they should have the information of the cost of a PO Box,… Read more

It's one of those places where you know things will just get handled efficiently without stress. Everyone there is friendly, patient, and consistently helpful every single time we go in. They're also in a super convenient location for us, but honestly even if they weren't, I would still make the drive because the service is that reliable and good. Truly one of those local businesses that makes everyday life easier!!

(You supply your own box and print your own label - make sure you select the right option when processing the return on Amazon) They are so courteous, even acknowledging your presence when busy helping another customer. This is first rate service in my book. They greet you as soon as you enter and are very helpful. This location is very close to my home and I can drop off my return on the way out to do other errands or on the way home, if I leave my house before they open. They do get a tiny credit for accepting UPS boxes so please utilize them. They'll let you know the pick up times for UPS, USPS (think priority flat rate boxes), etc. so if you record the times in your contacts you can be sure to get your boxes out timely. So not just convenient if you are in the Aiea Waimalu shopping center area on Moanalua Road, but great, helpful, and friendly service.

Once I was able to figure out that I had to provide my email and attachment to the FedEx email address (seriously, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out, except me ) you get a lovely color copy. In this case, my poster sign for a peaceful rally, which was kind of small but I didn't have a big posterboard. One thing I do have a question about is when you put in your charge card in advance to pay, you're given a price range to pick from. Then, when you're finished your job, you don't get change. Makes your copies pretty expensive, right? Oh yeah, the staff are really helpful, no matter how goofy a question you have.

Personal office space…read more.. Not only do they take care of your shipping items but offer some office space utilities as well which can be convenient when you need just a simple task to be done as back in the day I used to have a desktop connected with a printer when we printed a bunch of items for personal use which now is all done virtual as you just scan and go making it basically obsolete. Once in a while you do need to download a file or application to fill and mail or turn in and in this case I just needed some items to print for convenience and it wasn't a specific file but just some images so I thought to give it a try but failed unfortunately. They do have a workspace which I've used in the past but with Kinko and not FedEx so it was a bit unfamiliar to me and I sat there trying to figure it out for some reason I couldn't and though there was a staff there it just wasn't meant to be as I gave up and try to regroup to figure it out. They do have copy machines and so much more at this location and with designated parking stall right in front is a nice and convenient spot to get your needs done. Thank you!

I simply just needed copies of some documents that we were told to do so as an advice and took it and headed to a place that I've passed several times is this FedEx location right across from Ala Moana Center in the Heald Building which is nice as they have lots of free parking making easy access with just steps to their front door. Walking into this spacious place you see many shelves of supplies, ship and go center and right beside the entrance are several copiers which is probably the most used services and is very cool how it's all set up for you to use on your own. You first can add funds to the machine with your credit card as you calculate the approximate amount you will be using and will be calculated at the end of the acutely amount is quite impressive and very easy to use though my first attempt was fail by placing it in the wrong direction lol but at least it's not a huge costly error but one that I learned very fast and with just a few copies needed I was done just as fast to be on my way but loved the convenience they provide as I did have a copier in the past which came obsolete as technology has changed though every once in awhile we do need to some hard copies of items to keep on hand for reference is good to have places like this to use for very little cost. Thank you!
