I never knew I would have a favorite post office or post office employee but I found both today! First of all, the line moved so fast! It was amazing and I was so grateful. Then I noticed that every employee was so helpful. A lady helped me figure out which form I needed to fill out to send a package to Australia. As I finished my packages and then stood in line I couldn't help but listen in on Josh's conversations with those he was helping. He was a breath of fresh air! I was lucky enough to be helped by him and he seriously made my day! He was so helpful and answered my questions, but he was also personable and fun and HAPPY. What a great employee you have working for you!! That guy deserves a raise!!! I will come to this post office from now on instead of going to the one closer to my house. Thank you, Josh!!! read more

Again. You guys keep hiring delivery drivers who are either illiterate, or deliver mail like Stevie Wonder. Putting mail in wrong mailbox with the correct mailbox literally right next to it. Come on people your job isn't that hard. read more

To the delivery man/woman: Please stop mixing up people's mail. I have been receiving others mail and same with my neighbors. They have been getting some of my mail as well including packages! Today I have been anticipating a package from amazon and tracking said it was delivered but when I checked there was nothing! My best guess, it was put in a WRONG mail box AGAIN! Please double check before when you deliver! I know your job isn't easy but please it's your job to delivery mails and packages to the RIGHT address! read more

Personnel in the Post Office are always friendly & helpful. However, I get packages often & delivery drivers NEVER come to knock on the house even when someone is obviously home. I have to go out of my way to stop by & pick up my package. read more

This post office sucks and the mail carriers in this area are lazy and clearly don't care about their jobs! My mom sent a birthday gift and somewhere along the way, someone cut open the box and stole everything inside except my sons bubble gum and they delivered it to me damaged and practically empty. They constantly put everyone else's mail in our box and leave packages at all the wrong houses which are all clearly marked. Today I was having a package delivered on my boyfriends birthday and it's 1 pm. I signed up for text updates and decided to just check. It said delivery was attempted yet no one ever even drove down the lane because the dogs go crazy every time they do actually try to deliver things to other people (even though it's damaged or the wrong house) so now I don't even have his gift on his birthday and waited around all day for something they never even attempted to deliver. The carrier marked that the item was oversized, no secure location (even though when have a bench right outside the door and a front porch) and that no one was available to receive it. It's complete bullshit. On top of it, I've complained multiple times and my landlord asked us to complain more because she was waiting on social security cards and had to reapply 3 times because they never made it to her mailbox. Finally the guy at the social security office had it mailed there for her to pick up because clearly these people aren't concerned about anyone's mail or what they might need that can only come via usps. Something has to be done because I know for a fact it's not only us but everyone in this area. If the carrier can't do their job properly, they should hire someone else....or if basic alphabetical characters can't be read and matched with the proper mailbox then how did they even get the job?! Lazy unprofessional and uncaring. And when I complained a year ago they told me we would be getting our old carrier back soon but that wasn't the solution to the problem either. The community should come together to get this fixed! read more

So horrible!!!! Received our package after Christmas, wet and ripped in a plastic bag. How is that even acceptable to deliver a package ripped apart? It would've been better if they at least taped it but jus to receive a package not taken care of is absurd. read more

US Post Office - Seriously? Received our box in the mail as is. Smh - Post Offices Near Me - Ewa Beach, Hawaii

I was taping my boxes and heard Josh talking to a customer. He was pleasant and had so much aloha. Then I went up to pay for my shipment. He said it would be $60, and said I should use the flat rate box. I told him the size and he pulled out another flat rate box which was perfect and only $17.00. He was exceptionally happy and asked him why. He said because He Had God. I smiled and I said thank you for sharing. It's funny how I walked in upset with me kids...and one small act of kindness made my day. Thank you Josh! read more

Lost my package with important documents!!! And on top of that don't return calls or answer when I do try to call them!! Go through UPS or FEDex read more

You can schedule all the special services USPS offers. But they do NOT follow through and take care of you.

The post office that serves Ewa Beach is clearly managed by a bunch of clowns. Unfortunately amazon.com has started to use the post office for shipping to Hawaii as their primary shipper this has led to missing shipments late shipments. Tags and I wasn't home and I had to go to the post office and pick it up even though it didn't require signature and the fact that I have a video doorbell and know for a fact that they never rang the doorbell to try to deliver the package. I have community mailboxes including larger boxes for packages the people who deliver these packages insist on shoving boxes that shouldn't fit into these lock boxes making it impossible to remove because they can push them through however it is impossible to get the box out because of the lip of the door of the package mailbox. I literally had a cut a box open remove its content and then crush the box to remove it from the parcel mail box. My normal mail carrier seems to be very good however it appears that they're using the second string to deliver packages. It is clear the post office can handle the uptake of demand I blame this both on Amazon and the post office. read more

This is THE BEST USPS office in the whole world. People who work here are super nice and friendly. Their customer service exceeds away beyond your expectation. It is like each of them have the vision to be THE BEST POSTAL WORKER in the world or something. Specially Mr.Josh Asenthista is an asset to Ewa Beach office. Even though my chores in Kapolei, I go to Ewa Beach Office on purpose, even though it is far and D-tour....You should try going to Ewa Beach too!! You can start your day with smile :) They make you smile with their warm and unconditional love. read more

THE WORST- basic job. They have a bin that you drop things off in that are already paid for but instead I handed it to a employee working behind the counter because there bin was pulled back. I have not gotten a confirmation email, i went there and they COULD NOT locate it. No one scanned it in. Now my order is lost. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this post office. read more

This is by far the friendliest post office I've EVER encountered! I've lived many places, and while I've received adequate to good service, the staff at the Ewa branch are the best! It can be super crazy, but you'd never guess it by looking at the staff! I goofed once and arrived with minutes to spare, but lo and behold, one of the employees was holding the door for any late comers. I can be having the worst day, but just going in here makes everything better! read more

It's the post office. What more can you say? No, really though, the staff here is very friendly, courteous, and kind. The 0530 opening of the package pick-up window is genius. Did you know you could come by from 0530-0830 just to pick up packages? I can pick them up after dropping the kids off at school. Seriously, whoever thought of this should have been promoted. That is some awesome customer service. I hope the post office sticks around. read more

I don't know what happened but it doesn't seem like there is a schedule or routine woth this PO mail men and women anymore. Being a recently retired service member this is quite annoying. Started out consistently my mail would be delivered no later then 2:00 pm on a daily basis. Now I never know when it will be delivered, sometimes it gets here at noon, sometimes 3 pm, and sometimes it doesn't get delivered at all! Take today for example, I have a package that is supposedly "out for delivery" according to the tracking status, but no mail was delivered today. I guess the employees got a paid day off considering mail was suppose to run today but didnt! read more

Everytime I go into this post office I see smiling faces. After relocating from Connecticut, I am always sending packages to family and friends on the east coast so I find myself at the post office often. Much like other reviews, I am always delighted to see Josh. Today I walked in to hear him singing Christmas carols! He was putting a smile on the faces of his coworkers and all the people in line! I don't think this guy ever has a bad day! As for the service, I have never had any problems. Smiling faces from the helpful and friendly staff that are quick and diligent! Even when there is a line out the door they move it right along! I used to dread going to the post office, this location has changed my views! Mahalo read more

I must admit it's weird to be reviewing a post office. Workers are nice and efficient, there is a drive up mailbox, about 12-15 or so stalls, and a large P.O. box area. I like that if you do have a PO box here, you can still get access after hours with a passcode. It seems like the morning is the least busiest time, and around the holidays, it is CRAZY. All in all, I like the location of this post office and nice customer service! read more

Standard post office. A little light on supplies, in dire need of a paint job, but equipped with fast and friendly service. And as with any business, location is key. This particular branch is right off the main drag and next to a busy plaza. read more

This is the post office I frequent most often as it is very close to where I work and I end up here a lot for work therefore the workers know me. They are always very friendly and helpful, efficient and even if the line is long you don't usually have to wait very long. read more

Terrible service the young guy josh. Total jerk! Can't believe the federal hires him. No help made me stamp my own mail and stood there I mean isn't that ur job. What an ass, and every time I see him he prices me differently. Sad sad sad service. Never will go to him again it's sad Bc I have my PO box there so is why I go there shoulda went Kapolei they are always more helpful read more

I needed flat-rate priority boxes so I stopped in. Both large and medium sized were readily available right inside the door. When I returned to mail them the clerk was efficient and pleasant. I have not been in a better post office. Mahalo to Ewa Beach Post Office employees. read more

I have never been to a post office where the staff is so friendly!! The guy with the glasses on his head makes conversation with EVERYONE he helps--regardless of whether they are feeling up to it or not. He has always got a smile on his face. Ginger is great too... She took me in to help me with my passport even though I didn't have an appointment for that day. Didn't make me feel like I was being a burden, but did it with a smile! Everyone else there is really friendly. This post office does get a line out the door, but they move through the line quickly! Go here. :) read more

Went in to drop off a care package to a friend living in Australia, as expected a long line for the holidays; everyone making sure that they send their gifts just in time for Christmas. This was my first time shipping a package internationally so when it was my turn, Carol was very helpful and patient in assisting me. She was very knowledgable and recommended that I use a smaller box to save me some money since shipping internationally was expensive already. Overall all the employees were smiling and kind to everyone. Friendly customer service goes a long way. read more

all i can say is wtf. no one ever answers the phone. i called little 40 times just for it to ring into next year. i pay to get my packages delivered to my house. this is the third time my package is "undeliverable" and i have to drive 20 minutes to pick it up. i do not understand why my package is undeliverable. there excuse it the house is vacant. how is it vacant when i live here ??? the driver was outside and saw me outside cleaning out my car. i go to open my mailbox it is empty and when i check the status it says undeliverable. i was standing right there literally what is wrong with you people !!!! read more

This post office lost my package and I have been trying to figure out what happened to it even going as far as contacting the main customer service number for the entire United States Postal service and although everyone I have spoken with have been really nice no one has ever gotten back to me nor can anyone tell me where my package went. Thank goodness the company the package was sent from sent my order out to me again. Also, wish this post office had later hours since I work in town and rarely ever make it back in time before closing :( read more

This is by far the worst post office I've ever been to. The lines are long, which I don't mind but there is no urgency from the desk workers. Our mailbox is small to we have to come here at least once a week to pick up mail and it's always the same service. Lack of urgency! read more

I am so irritated with how much I call and they don't pick up the phone. This location serves walk in customers only.

This PO is really hard to find due to it's location. Normally they can be found along a main street, not some side street. If it weren't for the fact that I followed a postal truck there I would have never found it. It's located on the back of the main road and the speed bumps make it harder to get there. On the other hand, the staff are very friendly and helpful and know how to clear the line! read more

I live in Kapolei and would rather take the 15 minutes drive to this post office than to go to the one right down the hill. The staff is super friendly, short lines cause they breeze through everyone without feeling rushed. I agree with the previous post....5 stars for a post office?! They def deserve it! read more

Always friendly and helpful, my favorite post office to go to.

Extremely friendly and efficient clerks but the hours are not good. Certainly not designed for working people.....I don't think most people are able to go to the post office 9:00 am - 4:30 pm M-F. I took off work early one day to mail a greeting card by 4:30 and I got there just as it closed. The sign still said "open" so I actually didn't know it was closed until I opened the door and an employee said "excuse me?" as if I were being rude and barging right in. I pointed to the "open" sign and she apologized and turned the sign to "closed". But I had to come back the next day (in the middle of moving to a new residence!) to mail it and the birthday card was received late. Another thing is that the drive-through drop box no longer has the hours posted so I reported that the sticker seemed to have fallen off. A clerk informed me that the hours are now posted on the other side of the box. Really? I guess a few people may walk up to the drop box on the other side (though I have never seen anyone do that at this particular post office) but the vast majority drive up. So that decision makes no sense and it leaves people bewildered as to what the drop-off deadline is. At least they are open till noon on Saturdays...but let me warn you to not be one second past noon or you will have the door locked in your face. read more
