I really love this post office. I've been a PO Box renter for a bit and go in almost everyday sending and receiving packages. Although the staff works at their pace because they see so much people, I really appreciate everyone there that has made sure that I get my mail and my boxes. Everyone working there is actually really nice... not sure why this would be the worst since I live here in Dublin and see the folks all the time... but rest assure they are actually really awesome people. AVOID using this Post Office at all cost.... unless you do not mind having your packages lost, misdirected to another Post Office, being told to call their "Customer Service" help line- only to be told that you need to contact the Post Office, that you were calling about! or if you don't mind your small packages or books being forced into your small PO Box, to a point that you are unable to retrieve it! The staff is a 50/50 hit or miss on getting someone rude or even helpful. read more

Irritated after going here today for the first time. I sent out a package and bought a single 8x8x8 box for later use. The price of the box was $1.99. After waiting in line for twenty minutes to ship my original package, I just wanted to get out of there. I finally got up to the counter, where two very surly women were working. They were curt and cold, as was the gentleman who kept coming through the like to check on why everyone was there. So she charges me out for everything, hands me a receipt, and I walk out of there. I'm only noticing now that she didn't charge me for just one box...she charged me for SEVEN for a total of $13.93. Seriously? I haven't gone back to try to get a refund but I have a feeling when I do, I'll probably get a lot of run around because they'll have to check the cameras to be sure I didn't walk out with seven boxes. Annoying. I only work in Dublin but I live in Stockton...I'll just stick closer to home and this teaches me not to trust people to be able to do their jobs correctly AND to be more diligent about checking my receipts. :/ read more

If I could give a negative stars, I would. The man working (Clerk 10) at 12:45pm on Monday is the worst person I've ever encountered with customer service. I asked to have a stamp that will allow me to have a hand stamp on my wedding invitation envelope. Apparently he had no idea what I was talking about because he said "This envelope is rigged and needs to sent as a package" which is about $4.56 for 1 wedding invitation! I have sent 100 of them and did not need any of them to be sent as a package and they got to their recipient just fine. Then he proceeded to ask his coworker what I was talking about and she mentioned the stamp I would like and he said "Well then she can help you." AND WALKED AWAY. As he's walking away, she tells him "If you think it's a package, then send it as a package." And she tells me, "No, he will help you." So he comes back, takes the stamps out, I see the one I want ($1.30), gives it to me and instead of taking the envelope after I put the stamp on it, tells me "You can put it in the slot." I am in disbelief of the lack manners. Go to literally any other post office than this one. Listen to all the terrible reviews. read more

I went on a weekday during lunch time, and there aren't really "LONG" lines. The service is just excruciatingly slow. I watched this lady s l o w l y tape a package as she stared at the line. It took 30 minutes to get through 2 people. WARNING: If your package goes here and you are left with a pink slip, they WILL lose it. I read on Google reviews that they are constantly losing packages. I had a very important package that was sent across the country with $200 insurance and they LOST IT. I was left a pink delivery notice and it said that it would be at this post office. I waited in line for 30 minutes and they said I needed the slip (you usually just need ID), so I had to go home and get it. Then I waited in line for 1 hour along with people who had to mail out things and pay for them. I got to the front and they said "Sorry, it seems you're the 2nd person today that it says the package is here but it's not!" Acting so surprised when I read the Google reviews that say they ALWAYS lose packages. I will never, ever deliver anything via USPS anymore because it's too much of a headache. They also don't pick up calls. There is literally no phone in the office. read more

Worst Post Office ever. There's a broad in there walking around asking to ship empty packages... I had no return address on my mail that I ship everyday due to my business. And this large dinosaur told me she can't take it because it's anonymous mail. Google it. USPS does not require a return address. Half the packages are paid tracking and I pay with my debit card you dinosaur... You didn't even take the time to help me out. Just told me a lie and kicked me out of line. Horrible horrible horrible. You hire people with no drive and pay them too much. If we knew we wouldn't stand in line for hours for you to tell us we need to fill something out. When asked with "what?" You say a "pen" and then put us in a corner to fill out a form that takes 5 seconds. I'm over you. You probably won't believe me when I tell you that I have always had a good experience at this post office. All the employees are always so friendly and are very helpful. Surprisingly the line always seem to move pretty fast even if they don't have a lot of employees working. The only downside is that this location doesn't open till 10am which is a little later than some other locations. read more

I do live in Livermore area, but USPS closes before I get home, so I decided to go to this particular branch to drop off a package and couple of other mails that did not belong to me. As soon as I explained that I received a package for previous owner and it may need to be return to the seller, the mail clerk told me that I should have gone to the Livermore branch. I was bit annoyed at his attitude and explained that I work around the area and Livermore branch will be closed by the time I get there after work. Then he accepted the mails/package and he just said 'Next'. I know it's busy due to a holiday season, but really??? read more

I have a business online and always here at least 3 times a week. There are two employees that are VERY rude with NO customer service skills! I am forced to come to this post office because I work here. They toss your boxes that are fragile on the cart in front of you. The new guy is REALLY rude!! He has no manners and I'm still wondering how he got hired? I am now willing to take my shipments to another location. It sucks that I have to waste my gas because of this post office. They are very rude with an attitude!! And this is suppose to be Dublin! A very ghetto guy!! Also, they NEVER pick up their phone. I asked him why don't you guys pick up the phone? It was weird being back in Dublin. This place hasn't changed. The line is always long. It always was. Nothing has changed at all. The one thing is that the people are friendly and the workers are helpful. It's an OK post office but how much can we like a post office really? I mean it serves it's purpose but I can't say that if they came up with a way to ship directly from my house that I'd miss them or be sad. In fact, I'd jump for joy. i went this post office today and i saw the lady who work at window yelled at one lady who never had experience at post office. i was kind of shock that service was terrible and she yelled at customer front of a lot of people. I dont understand lady who work at window How she treated customer like that. if you dont like your service job you better quit. This is indeed the worst customer service from a post office ever, just went to the counter 5 minus ago and encounter a lady called Rosa. She reads on my envelope for few seconds and asked why should I write down united States if its domestic mail, well is there any problem ? Since I don't want to be offensive against an old lady, I told her its my habit. Guess what she reply "bad habit !" Well, I totally give up talking to such an unreasonable and unfriendly human being, wishing to finish as quick as I can, nothing more came out from my mouth other than yes or no. This post office should win a prize for the most inefficient, chaotic, idiotic post office in operation. The parking lot is bound to be the first unpleasant thing an unsuspecting patron will encounter. It is as if the other SUV's don't see the additional side and rear parking because of the blinding effect of the short row of prime spots out front. The effect is a constant senseless line of cars blocking the entire lot and often the main road as the line of vehicles grows. A similar thing is often occurring once you are able to secure a spot and make your way into the clustered building. Despite the fact that there are usually 3-4 postal clerks working, the lines are agonizingly long and slower than a Thanksgiving Turkey. I have been assisted by one particular clerk on multiple occasions who after several attempts still struggles to enter the information from a customs form into her computer. I'd call her grandma pick and peck, except that she is likely young enough to have been on a keyboard for much of her life. Even worse than the disorganization, long lines, and less than adept workers is the fact that I always have to spend my half hour wait with my children in tow. The place is full of pens that don't work (and this is a good thing when you are trying to harness a bored 4 year old) and spinners full of cards and odds and ends (not so great). On my final trip into the Dublin Office--and I will never ever go back here--my child managed to spin all the gift cards off the rack at closing time when they had crammed all twenty customers into the first section of the building and locked the inner doors. It was hot, crowded and it felt like we'd been in line since last year. As I tried to pick up and sort the cards back on the racks in the correct denominations, suffering all the looks of irritation and empathy such behavior warrants, while forcibly keeping my son from spinning the rack again and providing identification because of charging the postage onto the credit card that I use in this post office every other day. Or used to. This was the day the ever polite clerk looked at me and inquired: did you get ALL the cards off the floor? Umm. Yes, I did. I am hypersensitive about not not leaving a mess when in a public space. Thanks for asking. I'd recommend that anybody in the unfortunate situation where they are unable to take care of their USPS needs online and MUST venture into a post office; if you are near the Dublin Office, save yourself some time and drive to the nearest other city. read more

Pretty much the worst customer service of any local post office I've visited in the East Bay. They work at a glacial pace so the lines will often go out the door. On top of slug-like approach, the people who work here could bore a crack addict. For whatever reason they have no social skills whatsoever so if it all possible it's best to use the kiosk. But please, if you are going to use the kiosk, please learn how to use it or ask the person behind you for help so you're not creating a line of fidgeting people behind you. The only thing more frustrating than waiting in the other line to speak with a government humanoid employee is waiting for someone to slowly figure out how to work the kiosk. Nothing wrong with asking for a little help to appease the anxious natives who want to be in and out and get on with their day. read more

Just like ever other post office, lines suck around the holidays. But they try to get you in and out as quick as possible! There is a self service area, it's not that confusing, I use it sometimes. There is limited parking but they do have more spots in the back of the post office! read more

I think I just encountered a real life troll. Trust me they do exist and this one works at the Dublin PO. She was about as rude as one could possibly be - even the lady at the window next to mine made a face and commented on how rude she had been to me. Unbelievable! I have never had poor service at this location. Every employee is polite, efficient, and helpful. I handled all my wedding related shipping through them, and they were lovely to work with. The location is small so the line can look long. That being said, I have never spent longer than 15-20 minutes waiting, even during the holiday season. As long as you arrive mildly prepared, by this I mean simply know what you would like to accomplish and the correlating details, you should have no issues in completing your errand. read more

Meh, what a disappointment. Going to the post office shouldn't be a big deal. Go, do your business, get on with the day. That was my plan. That's not how it goes in Dublin. The kiosk was broken ... well, it kept flashing "please wait" and after awhile I gave up. The line was ridiculously long, and didn't move the whole time I was "waiting". So I left and figured I'd go back later. It dawned on me to call to see if the kiosk was operational and ... nobody answers the phone. Tried several other times, no answer. Seriously? The whole point of using the self service for me is to spare others from having to deal with a 2 year old who may or may not be cooperative, but next time I might just stand in the long line with my grumpy toddler and share the joy. But, I did get a decent parking spot. read more

This post office is always busy after work. It's small with a small parking lot. For this trip, I just had to drop off some mail. They have 2 drive by mailboxes, but it's at their exit. So if they are busy, and the parking lot has a wait of cars, you are going to have to wait to get to that drop box. read more

Amazing service and staff. This is a rare post office and puts the customer first at all times. Elmer is a terrific example of this and always goes out of his way to make the customer feel helped or assisted. My favorite post office in the east Bay Area and simply the best post office around. Just horrible delivery service. I've mailed two critical packages to my own address (needed mailed postmark stamp for legal reasons) at two different times and never received it! An insurance company send me couple of checks to another address also in Dublin and never received it either - that one had a locked mail box. Just horrible, holding on the phone now trying to reach the delivery supervisor. She won't answer, must be at lunch all day. read more

This is the second time coming to this location while driving through the city. The staff is always friendly and courteous and is pretty efficient at getting the task done. Today I overheard one of the ladies trying to help save money from another customer and showing him how to ship something for less. To me this is great customer service. I commend you for trying to help save customers money by utilizing everything that Usps has to offer. This location is older looking and a little bit run down probably hasn't been updated in 10 years or more. but this doesn't make it a bad place. read more

I went in last week to pick up stamps and ask about PO Box details. I received help from Elmer, who was very friendly, kind, patient, and helpful. At no time did he make me feel like my requests were a hassle and he did not rush me either. I went home and purchased the PO box online and came back early the next morning to be first in line for my key. I wanted to make sure that I would be lined up for Elmer's window for good service. Elmer actually gets 5 stars from me. His counterpart, not so much. During my first line wait (which I also had my 2 year old daughter with me), I stood 5 customers deep, crossing my fingers that I would not end up at Neeru's window. She was terrible. Raised voice at all times while speaking to customers. No smile, behaved as if customer assistance was a hassle for her to give. This was only 9:36 in the morning! And they opened their doors at 9:30am. For my observation of her customer service, I give her a 1. Angela also works the windows and I have found her service pretty neutral. Never negative, but not overly positive either. My conclusion is, make sure you line up for Elmer's window! read more

I sell things online and I came to drop some packages off when the short Hispanic lady told me that she couldn't give me a receipt for my items, she was very rude and gave my packages back to me while she shooed me away. I have been to the post office at least 50 times and have received a receipt every time. She was very rude I was highly disappointed in the customer service. Like any other post office the lines are long and the parking is horrible. I do have to mention that the customer service at the Dublin post office is excellent. The three postal staff are very friendly and thanked me for waiting patiently. The Dublin post office recently added more parking spaces on the side of their building. It has alleviated some parking problems but its still pretty congested during the holidays. read more
