I've passed by this place probably 100 times and never stopped in. But today was the day I changed that and I'm really glad that I did. I got the chicken pho and it was incredibly good. Perfect for today's rainy weather and the cold. I've been trying to shake off for a few weeks. Really appreciate the ample serving.($17.95) as it will feed me for at least three meals. I've eaten here plenty over the last 5 years and have never had a bad meal. I live a bit north now in a town with no good Vietnamese. Driving to Vancouver to come here is totally worth it. This is my usual Pho spot in Hazel Dell. It's the only one in the area with vegan pho. The servers are always nice and quick. I love that they have the chili oil up front but I think the plastic tins are super wasteful. They changed up the decor and I am loving it. The food is pretty good but nothing too crazy I wish the vegan pho had more tofu in it because they do an amazing job with it. Broth is plain but that's to be expected with vegan pho. Their Thai teas are cute and get the job done. I come here at least once a month an love it in my rotation. read more

Very friendly people working the day we went, they have favorites listed on a board by the door, I suggest using this if your unfamiliar with the menu because it's quite extensive. The decor is amazing those fake plants fooled me till I touched them great quality! The food is phenomenal, some items take longer to cook as mentioned on the menu so don't expect everything to come out at once. We ordered an appetizer so waiting wasn't a problem. We ordered the Chicken Stir fry and Shrimp salad rolls. The stir fry was tasty but did not have enough chicken or vegetables. The shrimp salad roll was pretty bland with only lettuce and white noodles and the peanut sauce was thin and weak tasting. It doesn't pay to cut corners. read more

Sheeeeesh! This place has one of the best pho broth and noodles that I have ever had. I ended up getting the pho ga and wish that the serving size of noodles and meat were a bit more. Nonetheless, I ended up drinking all the broth of the large pho and ended up leaving happy with a full stomach. The chicken, however was white meat so it seemed a bit dry, the chicken was most likely not cut fresh. Unfortunately, this crew was short staffed around dinner time 6:30-7 and it took 30+ minutes for my order to be taken. The quality of the broth and noodles for sure turned my mood around. No wonder why so many people were walking in for take out orders! If I was local, this would most likely be my go-to spot. Got the potstickers to start & the meatball pho. Potstickers were very flavorful, with a good amount of filling. The pho comes in 2 sizes, however the specialty ones are one size. A lot of reviews for other Pho places in Vancouver rate their preference highly, but in my opinion, Un- Pho-gettable Vietnamese Restaurant has the best flavor for their beef noodle soups in Vancouver, hands down. True, the restaurant needs a remodel upgrade ... for sure the seat cushion covers ... which have tears or holes in most. But the service is always friendly and fast, and the prices are reasonably 'in-line'. I'm guessing they choose not to remodel because they could still be recovering from the pandemic, but I'm there for the Pho. so for me, this is my preferred Pho place in the 'Couv. 5 thumbs up read more

Highly recommend this location. They are doing amazing during COVID. Masks, social distancing and half the tables and being super helpful. The pho was amazing! He ate it so fast I couldn't get a photo. The broth was deep and rich with a good amount of fat without being overwhelming. I tried the mixed stir fry noodles with beef, chicken & shrimp. Holy moly was it delicious. It is clearly stir fried to order because the veggies were still crisp but cooked perfectly. Keep in mind that they do take a bit to get things to you - I think due to short staff and/or making everything fresh. Still so worth it! Unphogettable was delicious with good quality soup and egg rolls. They give you quite a large bowl with a good portion of meat and noodles. The egg rolls were great and the sauce was quite nice and too strong. The only downside here was that the soup was a little greasy with lots of fat floating on the top. We came in about 30 minutes before they close. I understand that no one wants to stick around after they close, but rushing the customers in and out is very uncomfortable. We weren't the only ones who were being rushed. The food was ok, and we did manage to get it, eat and pay the bill with a couple mins to spare. Came in for boba. The young worker said they don't have boba any longer. So I ordered taro drink (milk, ice, and syrup). Before going there I looked at their prices on their website. Website said taro was around $4. When he made the drink, it wasn't even all the way full, he charged me $7.05 I said the website said it was around $4. Long awaited opening! . I was glad to see the busy staff from the full occupancy after only a week open. We ordered the house pho, 3 kinds of meat steeped in hot broth with delicious flavor and noodles. Salad rolls with shrimp and beef fried rice. All had great flavor and it took only 20 minutes to get our takeout on a very busy night. "Chay" means "vegetarian". It refers to vegetables in Chinese. It refers to vegetables in Vietnamese. It refers to vegetables when printed on English menus. This is the only place I've ever seen where "chay" includes fish sauce, which it what oozes out of fish when you crush them. read more

I went in for a bowl of pho....cause I figured their name should say it all. It had so much potential, like they were so close to great but I thought they fell just a little short in a couple spots. I got the house special pho with no eye of round, and add brisket. It fell kinda short in a few spots. The broth was good, but needed a little more flavor to make it unphogettable. The tendon was too large, although it tasted amazing, I don't want an entire mouth full of tendon, like ever. The meat balls. They aren't good. Not even a little. With a name like unphogettable, your house special pho should be just that. So perfect I want to come back over and over to eat the same thing. But it wasn't. It really could be though. I am a pretty tough food critic. So I do want to go back again in a couple months to see if they can actually make A bowl of unphogettable pho. I would love to change that the three star to a 5 since it's on the way to my favorite grocery store. read more

This place opened fairly recently I believe. While I haven't dined in I have picked up take out a time or two. They are inconsistent with hours but I cannot fault them given the state of everything I would highly recommend calling before popping in. They are however relatively quick in prepping take out so kudos there. I love love love that they have a "fried egg banh mi" it's so good & a great vegetarian option which I don't find often. Usually tofu will be the only veggie option & I don't prefer it but the fried egg option here is delightful. The sandwich is flavorful with great textures. I also enjoy the salad rolls which come standard with pork & shrimp but they can be made with veggie only as well. The peanut sauce is okay not my fav but I don't hate it. Reasonably priced and quick service is always great too. I would check it out if you're in the area. read more

Been here a few times and the pho has always been flavorful, no matter which broth (pork/beef, chicken, or vegetarian). I love that I can add veggies to my pho. They serve it on the side which I think is great because I'm not losing out on yummy broth. We've enjoyed a couple different appetizers as well but on a cold, gray day, and there's plenty of those, there's nothing like a yummy bowl of pho! Great food, great service, great name, but thats not what made this place standout. It was the playlist. We had about 12 people in our party and once we sat down, the waiter had put a playlist that didn't miss once. It was majority classics of hip-hop and R&B from the 2000s with some real choice picks from the 90s and 2010s.
