I ordered the vegan pho with a French baguette on the side and a refreshing limeade drink. It was as delicious as the others that reviewed it, had described. The broth was so flavorful. I hardly added anything to it (rare for me) . I really liked the mix of veggies they used; brick, cabbage, carrots scallions, basic mushrooms. The service here is lovely. Little neighborhood Pho joint that never disappoints. I like the Appitizers, particularly the Fresh Salad Rolls and the Wings; although all the options are delicious. I'm partial to the Bun. Usually choose the one with grilled shrimp and pork. The Pho itself is always topnotch! I've tried the chicken, and it's good although I find breat meat a bit tasteless. I uaually order Beef, granddaughter asks for the Shrimp and I have friends who go for the vegetable every time. Pho Hong Phat is is a great choice for a quick casual lunch or dinner. Under new ownership! A great hidden gem for Vietnamese-Chinese-Thai food! We ordered the beef pho, vermicelli dish and Vietnamese iced coffee. The pho broth is super flavorful and the vermicelli bowl was delicious! The portions are great with a good amount of meat. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and wasn't 75% ice which I appreciate. Overall a really great spot for delicious food at reasonable prices! There's also a large parking lot so no need to street park. I was really craving some pho when I first moved to the area, and I'm so glad we gave this a try. I was skeptical at first, since I saw the menu had a mix of Viet, Thai and Chinese food. I've waited about three visits here to finally write this review, to confirm that they really can do it all. I used to live in SE Portland, which was Pho central, and this place matches if not, tastes even better than the restaurants there. We've tried the other cuisines, Thai and Chinese here and you wouldn't even believe it came from a restaurant that serves all three different cuisines. My indecisive gf and I definitely like coming here, cause the huge variety and you can always try something new. Also the new owners are just the sweetest couple! Our go tos are the Pho Combo, Salt & Pepper shrimp/squid and Pad Thai so far. Don't miss out on the drinks as well, especially the Viet coffee! We are visiting from California and this restaurant was right around the corner from our Airbnb. We stopped by and it is truly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants we have ever tried (top 3 according to my Viet boyfriend)!!! The pho is so flavorful and the meat is cooked perfectly. We tried the Vietnamese rice plate and the pork was tender and the shrimp was juicy!! We are on day 2 of our trip and we've already been here twice. It is so nice to see an owner care so much about the quality of his food, which is something we don't get at the Viet restaurants back home. The Vietnamese iced coffee deserves a special shout out as well! Staff is very friendly and service is quick!!! We're already planning on stopping by one more time before we leave! I'm in town for a long weekend and we were in the mood for some pho and this place was open a little later than the other pho places in the area. We ordered A1. Four Piece Spring Rolls. They came out hot enough to eat but not burn your mouth and were super tasty. They didn't serve it with lettuce like we're used to, but it did come with the nuoc cham sauce. They weren't super greasy either. We also each ordered NS1. Beef Pho with steak. The broth is a bit sweeter than I prefer, but it was good. I love this place! Another great experience. We took our friends for lunch this time and it was fabulous again. WOW! That Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and flavorful. The surprise hit this time was the Thai iced tea. It was really good. I talked to the lady there and she said their Thai iced tea is a special blend that's freshly brewed daily. I could tell the difference between their fresh brew and what I've had from other places. The pho and broth were just as good as last time, and hit the spot again. The rest of the group enjoyed their meal, especially the salt and pepper squid of course, which we shared as an appetizer. I'm still craving a nice cold beer with the S&P squid. My first experience here was so good that I was kind of worried I might not enjoy it as much this time. No worries anymore, it was just as good. This place is a hidden gem and it's family run. Came with friends Friday evening after discovering this place from a magazine (it's one of the oldest pho restaurants in Vancouver). My friends ordered the vermicelli bowls and bun bo hue, I ordered beef pho (the one where you can add the meat in at the table), and my partner ordered vegetarian pho. There was this moment of silence because everyone was so busy devouring their food because we all found it so delicious. And the owner was so nice and accommodating and always came around to check in on us. We all moved from California so we know what good pho and Vietnamese food tastes like and this passes the bar. And we'll definitely be back, especially since we hear they can make their bun bo hue vegetarian. read more

As a note, we ordered this via GrubHub due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic issues. This was the first time either of us had had food from this establishment. We both ordered an appetizer, I ordered salad rolls and my partner ordered spring rolls. My partner also ordered a bahn mi with chicken and I ordered the beef pho with meatballs, tendon, tripe, brisket, and thinly sliced beef. The door arrived piping hot, which was my first surprise. The beef pho broth was still very hot and all of the veggies and sides for pho were included in a separate container. The pho broth had a nice fatty quality, and I appreciated the tripe being well prepared. The only unfortunate aspect was the tendon was not cooked through so some aspects were hard and rubbery. But I imagine having it fresh in house would have made that not an issue...its never been an issue with pho in the past. The salad rolls were fresh, with the rice paper not too sticky. My fellas spring rolls were hot and crispy, and his bahn mi still with nice crusty bread. I really want to visit this place once quarantine is over. It may sound really silly to read in a review, but after so long of my own cooking and pizza and all of that kind of delivery food, this was really the comfort food that made my day better. Pho has always been a special thing...it's what I crave when I don't feel well or am sad. Ive had many important life events celebrated over bowls of it. and while I don't think delivery through GrubHub is exactly the best way to experience a restaurants cuisine, this really did the trick. Normally I post photos with all of my reviews, but I didn't think it's fair given the fact that it was delivery through another service. We came back to this place after not eating here in over 4 years. Not because it wasn't good, it was because we found pho closer to where we lived at the time. First off, we were greeted with big smiles. We were seated quickly. And the staff was so nice. There were three of us. Really small spring rolls no peanut sauce I would never order from them again ask me over $100

had a late night Vietnamese craving that sadly wasn't satisfied... Fried chicken wings were an absolute disgrace. The wings were so small and hard, but yet undercooked at the same time.... They are supposed to be fish sauce wings, but it didn't taste like that at all which is disappointing. I even looked up reviews about this place before I ordered and everything seemed great and the wings looked great but didn't come that way at all. I also got the Goi Ga, which was actually pretty ok. The fish sauce used for this was actually pretty underwhelming which is not what I usually find.... I had to grab some of my homemade fish sauce to make it taste better. It tasted pretty watered down... Also if you order this through delivery like I did, the container they put this in needs to be rethought because it spilled all over the bag, and was a mess everywhere. I also got the crab puffs and a side order of rice. The rice was so dry and tasted pretty old. The crab puffs were mostly just cream cheese, and then the sauce they give you with it was pretty watered down, added no flavor at all, and had the consistency of water... Lastly I got the salad rolls, which I actually did not eat because just looking at it, you could tell this salad roll was old. The vegetables inside were noticeably a different color, like when lettuce gets old.. So I just tossed those in the trash... All in all, I spent $64, and It was definitely NOT worth it. read more
