We went with a group of 6 last evening and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This is a small-ish, casual place next to a theater in downtown Vancouver. Easy parking across the street in the free parking garage. We ordered salad rolls for the table which came with a very thick, but tasty peanut sauce. I had the green curry. So good, I'd have liked more eggplant, but that's just me, I love it. Others in our group had yellow curry, the cashew stir fry, and Nem Kao. We all enjoyed our selections, but the most interesting was my friend's Nem Kao. Wow, the rice was AMAZING! Crispy, flavorful with a delightful lime/coconut flavor. It came on a huge platter with lettuce, mint leaves, etc. My friend didn't know how to eat it! The waiter, a very attentive and friendly young man, explained she should eat it like a lettuce wrap. It was a very large serving and she took a lot home to enjoy today. We all decided we needed to return soon! My photos aren great because we were too busy digging in! And I wish I'd taken a photo of the Nem Kao.

Tofu pad Thai tofu salad rolls with peanut sauce

This has been one of my go to Thai spots forever! Thai is my favorite cuisine and they hands down have the best salad rolls and peanut sauce! Plus the nom nom wings I can't go without ether so I usually just get both!

I ordered via Uber Eats so no comment on service or ambiance I also ordered the vegetable spring rolls (not pictured) and they weren't that great IMO, lacked flavor, a lot more wrapper than filling ration as well. The Nem Khao I love but it's on the sweeter side, and every time I order, I forget how sweet it is. I do have to doctor it up with soy sauce to try to cut through it. The amount of chicken included is also lacking considering the $24 price tag, way more rice which is too bad. I also wish the greens on the side included basil and lime wedges. You get a hefty portion for sure, but I don't think I'll order that anymore unfortunately

We loved visiting this location but when we did visit it was VERY busy and only 2 servers. Several of our items were wrong but still delicious. I will definitely be back to give it another chance. The location isn't huge but isn't tiny. It was very clean and welcoming. There is an outdoor seating area but I wasn't about to sit out there in 90 degree weather. The thai tea was very good. The gyoza was delicious. We also got some of the freshly brewed iced tea that was more on the herbal side and it was okay. They bring a simple syrup for sweetener and it is much better with that sweetener. Everyone in our group loved their food. One of our team went strictly off the website and with a shellfish allergy did not eat but they said they could do something for her she just didn't want to chance it. The restrooms were clean even though they were busy. I will go again and check out this place.

Stopped by with two kids under 8 years old. Was seated quickly at a long table. Ordered Pho Special and Pot stickers. Great service. The kids were into Roblox and the server asked if they play. That got quite a reaction from them. Quite hilarious. The Pho Special broth was a tad bit salty. I ate some of the beef flanks and meat balls. It was very tender and delicious. Pot stickers were delicious and crispy. We got to try Ube ice cream. Came in a sundae scoop bowl and it was delicious and yummy. Great for an overcast summer day. Service was well. Came by multiple times to check on us and the kids. Greatly appreciate it. Restaurant is in between the Fort Vancouver Library and Regal Cinema. Plenty of seating in the restaurant and outside.

This a staple Thai restaurant in the Vancouver area that I keep coming back to. It's a busier restaurant, however, every time I go it seems there's at least one table available. The service is always friendly and accommodating. As for the food, the salad rolls with the peanut sauce are a great fresh appetizer and the peanut sauce is an addicting combination of savory, sweet, spicy, and nutty. The tom kha soup is another standout dish with rich, aromatic flavors. My boyfriend gets the pra ram every time and loves it. You also can't go wrong with any of the noodle dishes here.

We came here for lunch after a fun visit at the Vancouver Library (a really cool library btw!) It was walking distance from there and it wasn't too crowded yet since they just opened at 12pm. Side note: their website is confusing with two different opening times listed for Sunday (as well as some other sites like Yelp and Google) but they actually do open at 12pm on Sunday, not 11am. We were seated right away and they were so nice and so accommodating with our group of 3 moms and 4 kids (age 3-6). It's a relatively big space with lots of seating options and a cool bar area too. Their menu is a mix of Thai and Vietnamese so that was interesting. We got flavored lemonade for the kids, strawberry and peach and they tasted freshly squeezed with real fruits. The appetizers we got were really good including the fried spring rolls, wings, and the Fried Calamari. The papaya salad was refreshing with a good amount of tang and freshness. The kids enjoyed the rice noodles and jasmine rice as well. I got the Nom Nom Bowl with pork and was not overly impressed with it. The noodles were clumped together and the pork were cut in weird broken pieces and didn't have much flavor overall. But my friends did enjoy their Vietnamese Lettuce Wrap and we all loved the appetizers. I definitely give them kudos for being so understanding with our table of kids and a place for us to enjoy a yummy lunch! Come support and give them a try!

Very comfortable restaurant with exceedingly pleasant staff members. The varied menu offers almost anything you could want in Vietnamese, Laotian, and Thai cuisines. As I was not especially hungry on the day, I was there, I ordered salad rolls with tofu and I was delighted with them. The rolls themselves were very tasty, but the warmed peanut sauce was the highlight. In addition to a dining room and full bar, there's also an outside eating area. This is on the same premises as the regal theater, so it's an especially great place to grab a bite before or after a movie. There is a convenient parking garage just across the street. Prices are reasonable.

This is one of the best if not the BEST restaurants for Asian cuisine in Vancouver, WA. Their service was above excellent, their decor was very nice and not overwhelming and trendy. Ok get their crispy duck with dipping red curry wow, they get their padkewmao I can't spell it but it's amazing. And their Tom yam soup is out of this world. I live in Seattle area but I might drive there just to have that meal once in a while.

Had the most wonderful experience and was fortunate enough to talk with the owner. He made us his specialty sauce which I still think about till this day, two months later. He was super generous, offered us things to eat with the sauce, gave us traditional desserts, etc. amazing service both on the phone and in person. We ordered an array of food- the pho is one of my favorites. It's listed as one of the best on the menu, and truuuuly it's one of the best we've ever tasted (and yes we're Vietnamese!) I live south of Portland, and still contemplate making the drive for the food and service alone.

I've not been here in years, and was very disappointed in the food. Service was great and the atmosphere is wonderful, but again, the food. We got a couple drinks, tasted like suntan lotion, fried rice (was just rice looked like), wonton soup (wontons were flavorless and no amount of condiments saved the bland, salty broth, and the calamari as an appetizer (rubber, no salt or flavor on the batter, went down hill fast) and the sauce added nothing but sweet mayo. I really hope they can figure it out or maybe just an off night on our order as I remember this being a unique, flavorful and great place. I will try again soon.

Hot sauce offerings. My fave was the chili oil

Not a lot of room for ordering and waiting for beverages. There is a nice seating area upstairs. We ordered an iced latte and iced Darkside for beverages. We were both very happy with our food and drinks. This coffee shop in located in downtown Vancouver, so street parking is the only parking available. The meters are managed by Parking Kitty. Parking is about $1.50/hr, with a 2hr maximum. Overall a wonderful first visit. I'll definitely be back to try their other coffee and food options. Would highly recommend.

They offer seating outside, downstairs and upstairs, including a tucked away room if you need a little more privacy. They have nice decor including checkered floors and disco balls. They have oat milk for those who are dairy free and their vegan chorizo was very delicious! They even gave us a free dessert to take home so I would highly recommend this place to go for brunch either with a few friends or by yourself to get a nice book. Brunch is kind, brunch is fine I am happy anytime my friend and I find a classy place to dine

Cecilia is a restaurant for a certain type of customer. I can see a tremendous appeal for some…read morepatrons and not so for others. I shall explain. The ambiance is an attempt at industrial chic. When one walks in, the waiting area has a glass pain which gives an open view into the grill area, a popular chic vibe. The ceilings are high, there are brick walls, air conditioning ducts which run along the ceiling totally exposed, and a bar as the centerpiece of the restaurant. They pull their goal at chic ambiance off well: 5 star. Cecilia also makes a strong marketing effort to the weekend brunch crowd that likes to have a morning fufu alcohol drink as a little remedy for the ole "have a bit of the snake that bit you last night". That is to say they promote a variety of house cocktails that are both rather sweet and attractive to the eye. I feel they pull this off extremely well - delivering what they promote - although I did not indulge. Again, a 5 star performance. As for the service, I would say it was subpar, especially for a restaurant which bills itself as a high end breakfast spot. I had no reservation, asked how long the wait would be, they told me 25 minutes and the actual wait was 45 minutes. Not a good start: 20 minutes off is significant. I ran a restaurant. If you are going to be off, err on the conservative side: tell one an hour and have them sit in 45. If they decide to stay they will appreciate the effort. If they decide to leave, they will not hold it against management but will rather realize next time one should make a reservation. Speaks to bad management. As for the actual service, the waitress had virtually zero character, barely checked on us during the meal - although walked by us a number of times - and it took a long time for our plates to be cleared and the check to be delivered. Service rated a 2 star, and that is being generous. Finally, the food. I was extremely disappointed. Note I went here with high expectations. I left with a low level of gastronomic satisfaction. I ordered the eggs benedict. I tend to order this in a good restaurant because I do not make it at home and it is a great breakfast treat of done well. As for this rendition, mixed review. The pastry it was served on was a delicate, layered pastry which was very good. However, the two eggs were way overcooked to the point that the yolk was virtually all cooked. Most certainly not the way an egg benedict should be prepared. As for the side of potatoes: I frequently cook potatoes with my breakfast - mine blow these away. Not hard to make good potatoes, these were not those. My ladies breakfast was a huge disappointment. It read great and unique on the menu. A shrimp omelette. However, when it was delivered and cut into massive amount of a liquid which almost resembled water filled the plate: talk about unappetizing. Then the contents. They shrimp were the cheap, tasteless, tiny bay shrimp. Talk about no pride in quality of food and quality not rising to the marketing thereof: abysmal effort. An establishment trying to market themselves as a foodie place should use medium to large, quality shrimp which taste like shrimp- not the low end, tasteless shrimp stuffed into these eggs. This omelette would have trouble competing with an omelette at a local diner. I would never serve a house guest such a poor specimen, but then I take pride in my cooking: I do not believe Cecilia's does. As for food, given what they market themselves as - a menu which screams out that we are serious about our food: I rate it as diner food outside of the biscuit and one huge disappointment. In summary, I believe for the person who is trying to impress a guest with ambiance and the quality of food is not that important, go for it because Cecilia's is a good fit. For the patron that enjoys atmosphere, Cecilia's is a good stop. For the patron who likes a good alcoholic drink for brunch, highly recommend. For those patrons who are seeking a solid foodie experience or whom value good table service, Cecilia will deliver a big disappointment.
