Pad Thai

I went here for lunch today and loved it! Our server was helpful and attentive and we loved sitting next to the koi pond and watching the beautiful fish swim lazily by. I ordered the Lean Brisket and Steak Pho. So good! The broth was flavorful and fill the condiments offered were perfect. My companion ordered the Pad Thai and she said it was excellent. This is now a go-to for pho.

First time here and we loved it. Service was fast and delightful. Ambiance is relaxed with lots of Vietnamese and other mixed decor. We ordered the Chicken Pho with Egg Noodles, Tofu Spring Rolls and a Dish of Stir Fried Vegetaables and egg noodles. Everything was made to perfection. Pho broth was delicious and not heavy. Very large pho so if you don't eat a lot you can actually share one. Loved the springrolls since they were very well filled with veggies and tofu. The Veggie, Chicken dish with noodles was light and plentiful.

Pho Vi Van is a local staple in Vancouver. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is prompt and friendly, and you can always expect a happy crown of people during the lunch and dinner rush. The ambiance always feels very welcoming and I'm happy to be a long time patron. Craving hot soup for these winter months in the PNW? I highly recommend you stop by!

Relaxed atmosphere, good tunes, excellent food and service, dining in or delivery. Besides excellent Pho, also delicious Banh Mi (many selections) and salads.

Gluten-free fried rice

Gluten and dairy free review: We love this Pho (veggie and beef). It's definitely gluten and dairy free. The fried rice is yummy and gluten and dairy free. I also had the beef Pho which I forgot to snap a photo of. Very good! You can have a noodle, fish sauce, veggie bowl as well but it's not on the menu. You'll have to ask. One of our fave places.

Pad Thai chicken

Pad Thai chicken was excellent. Good portion size too. Atmosphere is cozy but the booths give you a sense of privacy. Would recommend.

Amazing Food by by two sweet old Aunties! Usually a vegetarian pho is almost flavorless and boring, but NOT HERE! You can taste the homemade goodness steaming within Real food, made by real people, making you feel real good

I'm here with my family quite often. My nephew always gets C3- round steak pho. It's great- the broth is so flavorful. I like to try a variety of things so I've also had the pad Thai, stir fry vegetables, spring rolls, and some other tastes of assorted dishes the rest of my family orders. The jasmine tea is one of my favorites. The Thai tea is refreshing on a hot day. Service is great here. Everything comes out really quickly. The servers will come by with menus as soon as you sit down and they watch to see when you're ready to give your order. Very attentive without being overbearing. Once you're done, you can get your own to go containers at the service desk where you also pay. The self service aspects are really nice so you're never waiting on staff for anything. It's a little small with comfortable booths, which are good for 4, but not great for large groups. There may be other pho places around, but I don't care because I only want to come back to Pho Vi Ván!

P3 small Medium rare round steak pho.

We go there every week. Food always 5 Star, and service excellent. Beef Pho is consistently good. Wife trys something different each week, and reports all delicious.

Our new favorite Pho place. Really friendly people. Don't expect a lot of follow up so ask for all your stuff when your food shows up or you won't see them again till you pay at the register. They are responsive, just not really a service table side. Doesn't matter because the food is out of this world good. I'm so glad we tried this place but now it gets really busy at lunch. Come when they first open at 11 and it goes really fast. Come at 1230 and you are waiting for food. They make adjustment like taking the pork out of the salad rolls, which are killer! Eat here. You got to.

We've been eating here for years and consider one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver. Always have great service, available tables, and fantastic food. The pho, banh mi, and vermicelli dishes are always fresh and tasty. The satay noodles are my wife's favorite, and I'm a traditional pho guy, although bun bo hue is right up there. Parking is not a problem, and the entrance is easy for those in wheelchairs. We haven't seen or experienced some of the issues others have mentioned in the comments. Very satisfied customers here.

Terrible service
Deo C.

Came back to this place in a long time, back then Then service was ok I walked in tonight and the waiter saw me walking in but he was talking to the other co-worker and let me stand there for like 30 seconds...then told me just sit anywhere, set a glass of water then walked away...2 minutes later came back and like "are you ready to order"? I said I'll get a p1 and he didn't even ask me for the bowl size and just walk away like that...i didn't even have a chance to ask for other stuff i wanted Terrible just terrible never again!!! Will not recommended to friends or family members to eat here!

Their signature banh mi was great. Service was busy for a weekday evening. Quiet restaurant. Will be back to try the other menu options.

I doubt it. There would no reason to.

My husband and I stopped by Pho Zone in Vancouver, WA this weekend and I can honestly say it was…read moresome of the best pho I've had in a long time. The broth was absolutely phenomenal! It was rich, flavorful and clearly simmered with care. You can taste the depth and balance in every spoonful. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the portions were generous, and the fresh herbs and toppings really elevated the whole bowl. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even without snapping a photo (I dove in too fast!), this is one of those meals you remember. If you're in Vancouver and craving authentic, comforting pho, Pho Zone is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

I'm going to be honest, this location under its different names has not done well in my opinion…read more It was previously under a different name (Pho 777) and had similar issues. Today my partner and I went in for lunch. There was a table ahead of of of four people who had not ordered or gotten drinks yet, and a table in the middle of eating, and us. It took 17 minutes before he took our order. To his credit, he was the only person working up front, but he seemed more focused on the kitchen and doing to go orders, which is okay, but still, not great. I've tried three times in the past 4-5 months to go in for a raw beef salad dish they have. EVERY time they tell me there is SOME reason they can't make it "this time" but that they "normally have it." Every time. So today yet again, I was told they "normally have it" but it "takes a while to make" and wouldn't have any today. Okay, bummer (btw, it doesn't take a significant amount of time to make, it's literally raw beef and veggies/herbs in a lime vinaigrette which "cooks" the beef. You can eat beef raw, so it's not like it has to cure for a number of hours like a ceviche, but okay, remove it from your menu if you can't reliably have it. We order our food. My partner orders a dish he has had at this location numerous times before. It is a dish of stir fried veggies and chicken on a bed of crunchy noodles (looks like a birds nest). He orders egg rolls as well. I order salad rolls and the P1 pho. My salad rolls come out first, maybe 10 minutes later. No worries, they were tasty and well made. And we wait. Another 15 minutes and both our entrees come out, and his egg rolls. His dish is on a bed of stir fried soft noodles, and they give me a refrigerated, plastic wrapped dish with a lemon, two slivers of jalapeno, bean sprouts, and Vietnamese coriander (rau răm). No basil. So I ask him for some basil since that is STANDARD with pho. He goes "Oh okay" and comes back HOLDING two sprigs of basil, and tells me how the flooding in Hawaii a few weeks back makes them unable to get thai basil, so all they have is Italian basil. Okay, interesting...but why wouldn't you tell someone, at a Pho place, that not only do you not have limes but you don't have basil. The pho with the basil we got was good. Good broth, nice amount of meat. But my partners egg rolls had some weird HARD thing in them that he spit out and we left on the plate, which the guy serving us had no idea. He said he'd check with who supplies them. All in all, it was disappointing. Given their menu consistently advertises things they don't really carry regularly, and they seem to just be fine swapping things out without even letting you know when you order, I don't think we will be back. We gave them a lot of chances, from when it was Pho 777 and even here, and given how much it costs to go out to eat, its not worth it. To the servers credit, he did comp my partners food but I insisted on paying for mine since I actually ate mine. My partner decided to eat elsewhere given how much he disliked his. I gave it a two stars instead of one because my pho was good and they did comp my partner, but I think this was our last time.

No need to street park here. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is on the smaller side with only a few tables. Each time we've come, there has been open seating for us to get seated quickly. There's a giant mural of how to eat pho like a pro. SERVICE: Never had an issue. The ladies are always quick to seat us and often refill our waters. They bring the food out hot and fresh and we've honestly never waited more than 10 minutes for our food. She was quick to come to the table to take our orders and are always courteous to us when we come in. FOOD: I always get the brisket pho. They have two sizes, small and large. They are pretty decent portions and I always leave full. They serve pho with limes, bean sprouts, and all the fixings. They have hoison sauce and Sriracha on hand as well. Now the brisket and noodles are always good but the star is the broth. I'm so picky with my pho broths and this one always has that deep, rich flavour that I look for in pho. It's a darker broth and doesn't taste watered down like some of the other places I've had in Portland. I've also had their egg rolls and I love them. Always served piping hot and crispy. OVERALL: Been here several times and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great restaurant with great food…read more Went for late 8pm dinner on a Monday. Immediately greeted by a polite young man with a great attitude. He brought me water right away and handed me a menu.
