Yo this place is super gooodd was quite surprised, highly recommended . The food was full of flavor, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Love the hanging lights and decorations.

We haven't been to Green Papaya for a couple years as we moved away. Decided to stop in and see if it was still as good as it was back then. To our delight we were happy to see that they have maintained their great reputation. We both ordered beef phõ and it was delicious. Everything was cooked well and the meat was nice and tender. I had the Crimson Peach Tea with peach pieces and my spouse had an iced Thai tea with tapioca boba. Both drinks were made well. The service was fantastic, attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and quick service. The restaurant was inviting, well decorated, and clean.I would definitely recommend giving Pho Green Papaya a try as you won't regret it!

This is seriously the OG of great food in Vancouver!!! This is probably the 4th or 5th review I've written for them and the service and quality are undefeated!!!! It is always a welcoming environment! You simply cannot beat the 5 star everything of this business!!!! This is one of the absolute few restaurants I will go out to because it is worth EVERY penny!!! Between the quality, flavor, service, and portion size, you get more than what you pay for! They do not shrink sizes and gouge you like many restaurants have started doing!!!

This place is well run by friendly people who make amazing food! The vermicelli is my go too always and G25 has everything. The roll, the noodles and the pork and shrimp were cooked perfectly and the presentation is always beautiful. I couldn't finish it all so there are also left overs for lunch! Great place to come relax and enjoy good food!

Green papaya won my heart with the prime rib pho and consistent service. The place is always busy when I come around but it's very quick, clean, and so family friendly. You can tell these people know what they are doing. Me and my husband enjoy coming here.

Excellent Vietnamese food! It is very cute inside with red and yellow lanterns above. But the freshness of the vegetables and tasty dishes will bring us back. I want to try their Banh Mi next time. Super helpful and friendly staff. I can't say anything bad about the restaurant. It is all good!

Their food is still above and beyond. We dine in and appreciate the friendly service, the delicious hot soup and other tasty dishes. Their smoothies are a hit too!

Very Demure, Very considerate I love this place. I've been eating her 5+ years and sometimes I order delivery. Today they were out of Boba pearls so they substituted with rainbow lychee jelly. They wrote this note on my drink and I have to say: very demure, very thoughtful, very considerate, very awesome in every way

even though the name has pho in it, do yourself a favor and get what i got: bun bo hue: savory hearty spicy beef noodle soup combo rice plate: broken rice plate with assorted meats, pickled veggie, and a fried egg some reviews complained about the service but i think the workers are super earnest and sweet! it gets busy but they're more than happy to help. it's quite hard to find a good bowl of bun bo hue and this place executes it super well

Been a big fan for many years and have enjoyed the menu, ambiance, and staff each and every time we visit. The new remodel plays up on the coziness and all decorations pleasing to the eyes. Like many restaurants, short staffing continues to be an issue, but the owners are doing their best with this...oftentimes working beyond overtime to maintain the customer experience. Our lunch today was not only flavorful, but the presentation was top notch. Wife had the dry soup and I had the shaking beef, which is tenderloin. Both were excellent!

They have a nice canvas sail overhead to give some shade for seating. The inside is super small. Not what I was expecting. It was similar to Salt & Straw on the Vancouver Waterfront. It's definitely a grab and go type of establishment. I didn't see any baked goods displayed at all. Maybe they've done away with those options?! They had a nice variety of ice-cream flavors to choose from, including non-dairy selections. They also had floats. I decided on the single scoop Mint Cookies & Cream. It was absolutely delicious, and fresh! No freezer burn whatsoever, and plenty of cookies throughout. The mint flavor wasn't too overpowering either. It was the perfect after lunch treat! Staff was okay. Not super friendly at all. She didn't say much when I walked in either. I was the only one in there. It looked like you could sample some of their flavors too, but I wasn't sure if the extra interaction was welcomed. Definitely a different customer service vibe than Salt & Straw; their employees are so friendly and personable. Overall an okay experience. The ice-cream was delicious, but customer service lacking.

So, I won't lie, I had REALLY high expectations when I chose this out of all the other options for "dinner". I. Am. Blown. Away. The waitress was patient and answered all my questions. The place is small but clean. They run out of their seasonal, so be aware. My husband paid while I went to the bathroom and he kinda made a comment about 25 bucks for two ice creams, which surprised me as well. Until she gave us the ice cream. My Mt St Helens was three largish scoops with a delightfully large amount of toppings. His ice cream cone came in one of the largest cones I've ever seen. It's thicker and crispier than commercial so I think they make their cones in house! But the rockstar is the ice cream itself. I grew up in the area and so I'm very familiar with northwest flavors. This ice cream is like my childhood in a scoop. The ice cream has enough fats to give a nice mouth feel and I'm not even sure they use Guar gum or carrageenan. The honey tastes local. Even the raspberry syrup tastes like raspberries off the side of a country road that are ripe but not too ripe. That sweet sour taste. If you are traveling through or a guest of this town, you have to try the ice cream.

I shared a mini strawberry shaved ice with my partner and we were happy with how light the shaved ice is and the whipped cream gave it all sweetness without being as heavy as some of the ice cream choices. So it looks like there may be a wait at times, just a heads up. Order at the counter. Staff calls your number and brings the item out to you. The shop interior is cute and minimal, and they have number of two-person tables outdoors on their patio. We got a couple of items: the fruity pebbles, the Biscoff, and the watermelon. It was very helpful to have photos of the items at the counter. Nevertheless, we ordered too much - they were HUGE. We should have split. But we all loved the bingsu - the actual shaved milk is not too sweet and the toppings add the flavor. So the watermelon was a little less sweet overall as the fruit was the flavoring since there was no syrup. The fruity pebbles and the Biscoff were a little bit more sweet and layered throughout, which is what I wanted.
