I've been here twice with my very smart sister (she's the one who suggested it). It is sure to be on the regular rotation. It's great for two people or 4. I haven't seen big groups but it looks like tables could be pushed together to accommodate whomever walks in the door. A pastry case full of delights is between the door and the host stand. A stronger person may be able to sail right past the case but I get stuck drooling while the hosts nods and smiles. We've alway been seated quickly. Today we waited 5 minutes. It's nice they have a bench for guests who are waiting. Facing the pastry case! Once seated the service is really fast. Employees are friendly and unobtrusive. Although today the wait staff came by to ask how everything was tasting just as I gad a mouthful of quiche. At the rate I was stuffing my face it was bound to happen. I've enjoyed the cardamom oat milk latte on both of my visits. It's just a comforting thing for a cold morning. I'm usually not one to repeat an order but this one is worth it. Food is always a delight. This time we also took home a couple macarons for an afternoon snack. A reminder to ourselves of the delightful brunch we had. Just go. Stop reading. Set a bookmark and go.

First, I love that I can add our name to the wait list before we arrive. Staff is lovely. Even the busboys wished us well as we were leaving. Food & drinks were phenomenal. We both had the corned beef hash & bloody Marys. Best breakfast I've had in ages.

I can honestly say, my first review was honest (possibly to a fault) but that's the beauty of a review. You get exactly what one is feeling in that actual moment. So fast forward to two years later... we're officially PNW'ers. We may not be here for a long time, but we're here for a good time. Took us time but we learned the magic of the PNW and the places to escape to and fall in love... and we've done so. Fortunately for us, Bleu Door has remained a faorite! We still frequent them at least monthly. Their food is good and consistent. Their prices are fair and their staff is always delightful! Funny story, my only new picture is of yet another benedict I ordered! HA! If in Vancouver, do yourself a favor and check out the Bleu Door. Don't forget to get a pastry. My partner absolutely lives for their pastries. I'm not much one for baked goods but the few bites I have taken were solid!!!

Bleu Door is a great bakery! The team is always super helpful. We got a cake for a party and it was baked beautifully. The frosting was the perfect sweetness and the cake itself was soft and fresh! Great food, great service!

I usually always go to Portland for brunch but heard good things about this place and had the opportunity to try today! I loved the decor, it was decorated for Christmas and everything was so wintery and festive. They had a seasonal brunch food and beverage menu that all sounded so fun, but I tried the shrimp and grits and beignets! The food was very flavorful and Vincent, the server, was awesome!

My all time favorite shakshuka! And the most fluffy pillowy delicious beignets. Truly you can't go wrong here, and their Bloody Mary was also fab.

This is one of my favorite spots to bring friends and family when they come to visit. They have a wide variety of bakery options including gluten free and vegan. My go to is a coffee cake but you can't go wrong with anything in the case! Service was great. I am allergic to eggs so they were able to help me navigate the options. It's either a walk up space to grab and go, or you can go in and sit down. Hours are early so check before heading out!

Such a gem!! Truly a treat every time I come here. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious fresh food and drinks, phenomenal customer service. I cannot recommend highly enough! You must try the beignets and the bleu door latte. Special shoutout to Vincent and Joanna!

Stopped by for a Saturday breakfast and managed to beat the brunch rush. They were short a server, but only a 10 or so minute wait. Our server was very nice and friendly, made sure to check on us a couple of times throughout our meal. My wife had gotten the vegan biscuits and gravy while I ordered the regular. The kitchen did send out two vegan ones initially, but they quickly corrected it once I pointed out what had happened. I did have a bit of a longer wait for my meal because of that, but human error exists and it was honestly so delicious I completely forgot all about it. Even with them being a person down, they managed to keep a busy morning flowing pretty well it seemed. It was definitely loud and energetic inside. Overall a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

I popped in on a weekday morning and it was bustling with people. The line wasn't long and I got helped quickly. The person taking my order was friendly and offered solid information comparing their chai to the London fog. He proceeded to ask me about my day and seem like he actually cared. I wasn't sticking around, but there were open tables. Things were clean. They also have plenty of room to sit outside if you'd like. There are pastries and some cold drinks in a case. There aren't a lot of gluten free options, but they did have one muffin I could have had. The drink preparation takes a bit of time. There were people already waiting and many of their drinks have special preparations (pour overs, steeping the tea). Have a minute to wait. I had the London Fog and the baristas advice held true. The flavor was worth the wait and I will surely go back. They roast their own coffee and make you feel welcome. Plus, there's a bookstore across the street. Love all around.

The café offers plenty of seating and feels bright and welcoming, thanks to its corner location with large windows that let in lots of natural light. The owner is from Tanzania, and the mission of the business is to serve the local community with high-quality African coffee beans. Part of the profits go back to Africa to support coffee workers and help improve living conditions in their communities. Their signature drink is the Zanzibar spiced coffee, which I featured in my photo. It's infused with a blend of warm spices that makes it truly unique. The coffee I ordered was a lighter roast, with a pleasant hint of acidity as you sip it. They also have three different food options with African bread. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to share the story behind the coffee shop, which makes the experience even more meaningful.
