One of my favorite places to get a breakfast bagel, friendly staff, nice place to relax eat and drink a morning coffee to start you're day.

Respectfully... what in the children's cough syrup was this? I order strawberry jelly + strawberry cream cheese all the time. This combo is not exactly experimental cuisine. Somehow this place managed to create a spread that tasted like someone melted a Barbie Dreamhouse into silicone caulk and added pink food coloring for emotional damage. The 'strawberry jelly' had the texture of industrial lubricant and the flavor profile of expired medicine from 2004. The cream cheese tasted like it witnessed a crime. I genuinely paused mid-bite and checked the packaging to make sure I hadn't accidentally ordered a novelty prank item. Bagel itself? Innocent. Victim, honestly. So today something was a miss. Came in to pick up my order and one of our bagels was wrong. It seems like whenever we order online that is where the mistakes happen. We had 1 bagel with cream cheese and 2 others without. What happened was the right bagel got the cream cheese but they added it to mine. Ugh how I despise cream cheese. I drove 20 mins back to the location explained what happened. They needed to double check if I was telling the truth which I was and kindly remade my bagel. Did a Uber eats delivery. Apparently when the bagels you want are out of stock, they don't take the time to contact you to see what you want replaced. They just replace it with whatever. I had received five bagels total three of them were wrong and the cream cheese have I got to go with the three that were out of stock is useless so I spent about $16 more than I needed to on this order. I called the Hazel Dell location and the girl was kind of snippy with me on the phone because I didn't know how to describe a bagel since I'm not a big expert and apparently she is. Should have gotten her name. No refund offered no replacement offered in the future nothing. Horrible customer service if that's how they treat customers. read more

Despite it being a busy Saturday morning, the bagels came out quickly and were SO worth it. The espresso drinks took a little longer but we were so happy with the bagels and sharing bites that it wasn't a problem. There's plenty of room here for small or larger groups. The chipotle cream cheese was so delicious that we had to get a tub to go. The interior is clean and bright with great displays showcasing what's Available. This is the spot! It's the same since 2000's and I love it here... I was a regular at this place! Every time I visit, getting a toasted wild cheddar bagel, it never disappoint me. It's a perfect and soft bagel full of flavors: everything seasoning topped with cheddar. The service is quick and reliable... as long as you stay in line and order your stuff then pay... then anticipate some wait to get your orders. Dropped family off at the airport and got here right when it opened. The opener with dark brown hair was extremely rude the entire interaction. She seemed miserable and had a terrible attitude. My husband and I were very uncomfortable lol. Told me she had to charge me to cut the bagel, and if I wanted cream cheese on the side I get charged double than if I got it on the bagel, and I didn't get as much cream cheese so I would have to pay more to get more? When I asked her if one of the drinks were good or too sweet her response was "have you ever had one before". The bagels are good, but not worth it to go back and deal with that. I used to love theprevious coffee shop that was at this location but I am pleased they replaced it with a good alternative. I love bagels with fancy shimmers. It is one of my favorite things to get when I go to a coffee shop. I ordered a pesto parmesan bagel with garlic and chive, lightly toasted, and paired it with a seasonal coffee drink that had maple in the name. Both were delicious, and my bagel was toasted to perfection. My only complaint is that they don't allow customers to bring in their own cups. I always do this to help the environment and keep my drinks warmer. It's disappointing that they have this policy, especially since COVID restrictions are over. Even Starbucks allows customers to use their own cups they just ask that you place it in this special container so there is no contact with the cup. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop for their delicious bagels and coffee. Just be prepared to use a disposable cup. read more

This place is fine in a bagel desert and for a quick breakfast. Pros: -They have ample vegan options for vegans and vegetarians alike including vegan sausage and vegan bacon. -Quick, easy pick up. -Lots of different bagel and cream cheese flavors. Cons: -Some of the bagel flavors aren't really "there" so to speak. For example, the rosemary one tastes like 1/32 of a rosemary sprig *might* have accidentally landed in the dough. Same thing with the pesto bagel. -Some quality control issues. Found a hair on the outside of one bagel and another order that was just a toasted bagel and cream cheese that came untoasted. -The bagels are just "okay." Not amazing, not bad. Sometimes a bit dry and not as chewy as other places I've gone to. Can't speak to any of the lunch options. read more

I wish that we had one closer to home, because I know it would become my go to breakfast spot. I loved the variety of bagels, I've never had a salted rosemary bagel before, but it was absolutely delicious. The veggies were fresh and everything tasted fantastic. I really appreciated the amount of vegan options and that everything was labeled. I also purchased a few of the last chance vegan cookies, and I wish I had bought more. Great soft, fresh, toasted bagels! Parmesan pesto bagel with garlic chive cream cheese was delicious. The cream cheese portion was too much though; I must've removed like half of the cheese from the bagel. The cream cheese flavors were great, and I really enjoyed the saltiness of the parm & pesto as well as the warm softness of the bagel. My partner enjoyed her wild cheddar bagel, which was very savory and had a nicely crispy cheese texture. We also tried raspberry white mocha, which was okay. It was much too sweet for our taste, but it was still an interesting novel one-time experience for us. read more

I absolutely love this place for breakfast and brunch! I have a limited diet due to medical reasons, and I unfortunately have a hard time finding restaurants where I can eat. Seize The Bagel has a lot of vegan options, such as Just Egg (a vegan alternative for eggs), vegan cheese, and vegan meat options as well. I also really enjoy my Chai's to be sweet, and they have the BEST sweet Chai's here! I love ordering from here to go, and for dine in as well. I slept on this place a little bit! I came into this surprisingly large shop and got speedy and friendly service. The windows supply all the light in the cafe so it's a good place for a hangover. Everyone was lovely and patient. I got the self named sandwich & added bacon. It was YUMMY. Something to know about me is I judge all places against my own personal ability to cook (bc I hate buying food I can make better at home) and I was not disappointed! It was generous & decadent & I wanted to sleep immediately after (but in a good way. Now my favorite thing I ordered was the Fall in a Cup and let me tell you....ITS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Even if it's a chain, this is a solid bagel shop and café, serving some wonderfully fresh and tasty bagels, schmears and assembled sandwiches. The servers and the service itself were both prompt, friendly and engaging, an our (admittedly rather large) order arrived at our table with surprising alacrity. Additionally, I know my wife has ordered from Seize The Bagel via DoorDash before as well, with nothing but positive things to say, so as far as I'm concerned, this particular location is an all-around winner, in every aspect of their operation. This cafe is conveniently located in a strip plaza, has ample parking/seating, and decent menu full of food and drink choices. The workers are really sweet and thoughtful. When I ordered the Raspberry White Mocha the lady asked if 2% was ok and offered alternative milk options. When I later asked for a water cup they asked if I needed a lid or straw. They kindly greet all customers walking in, stock the supplies, and clean the store. 5/5 for exceptional service. As for my overall experience--I came here to escape my cold apartment and hoped to get some work done while grabbing a quick bite and coffee. While the STB bagel and raspberry mocha drink i ordered were good, the shop was just too cold. Even after putting back on my coat I was still shivering. I noticed other customers were bundled in their coats as well so I would recommend they turned up the heat quite a bit so customers feel more cozy. The bagel I ordered was the garlic and chives bagel with chive cream cheese. The bagel was toasted and well cooked. The cream cheese was over top but so delicious and creamy. Just a heads up, do NOT go to Seize the Bagel off mill plain. Address is 13215 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98684, United States. They have a TON of gnats in their cases that they're selling from. You can sort of see them in the video. They're hard to focus in on. No biggie... just landing on all the product and still selling it to people. That's pretty gross.. Seize The Bagel do better... I'm beyond disgusted. I kindly, and very quietly, brought this to the attention of the staff and was met with, "We have apple cider vinegar out to get rid of them." That's great! Now stop selling that product.. I come to the seize the bagel in the shopping mall on mill plain rd quite often as it is close to my work. I have been trying everything on the menu and generally like the food. Today I had a slightly bad experience with a newer employee there. I ordered my food and asked the bagel be cut in quarters. I noticed they notated down to cut the bagel in half. I clarified that I wanted it cut twice because it is easier to eat and received a "no I got that" from the employee. Having been here many times and knowing the notation for "cut it in half" vs. "Cut it in quarters" on the slip. I had a feeling of dread, but didnt question it. Get the order, it is only cut in half as it was marked on the paper. read more

Unfriendly group this morning who didn't seem to want to be at work. The guy who pulled our bagels and cream cheese especially unfriendly and sloppy. Our cheese containers were covered o the outside with mess and the bags they put everything into had cream cheese all over the outside and got all over my wife's coat. Service is king here... really great service. The Parmesan and pesto bagel is really tasty but could use a bit more cream cheese.... The place is really clean and there is plenty of parking. I always wonder why bagel places don't also offer olive oil dipping as a choice. Some rosemary and garlic confit would have made that parm bagel a game changer. read more

You should probably have more staff during the rush hours... waited 10 minutes (on an online order), just to be ignored for 10 minutes and told my order still isn't ready...it was 1 bagel.
