Spicy garlic sauce
Tom M.

This is our absolute go-to spot for gyros! Even though we usually order takeout, the quality is incredibly consistent-we just had it again the other night and it was perfect. Between the seasoned meat, the tasty fries, and the unbeatable price point, you really can't find a better meal. Pro tip: Ask for extra spicy garlic sauce. It is fantastic on everything, and I always make sure to get some on the side for my fries. We're customers for life and make sure to grab a meal here at least once a month!

Falafel gyro

The falafel gyro was delicious! They make the falafel fresh when ordered so it was super moist. I added tzatziki and hummus. Celiac husband enjoyed the chicken platter with no issues! Service was quick and friendly. Seating was as expected for a strip mall eatery.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Great food, friendly service and overall just a fantastic place to come and eat. Wish they had a location on the east side but it's with the drive for quality food. Thank you for a great meal and friendly service. We will be back again.

Trio Platter
Harry H.

Ate here for the first time tonight and decided to go with the whole shebang, the trio platter. The order came with a salad, yellow rice, and kebab of each: chicken, lamb, and kafta (beef/minced'ish). The salad was fresh, the rice was ok, and the kebabs were great! My son has never been a huge fan of lamb, but I did give him a couple pieces to try and he said a couple times in the way home how it was so good and so tender. The seasoning in the meat seemed a little lighter than I've had from other places, but the meat quality seemed a lot better and when I was finished with my meal, I didn't feel so bogged down and I def wasn't having any indigestion and burping up spices all night. Lol The cost is probably a little higher than other gyro places I've frequented, although, I Heart Gyro is a lot cleaner and nothing I touched was sticky or stained. Service was fast and friendly to top it all off. Will be back the next time I get the craving for this style of food.

Lamb Gyro Wrap

Came to I Heart Gyro for a late lunch and love it! The service was exceptional and efficient. There is plenty of room for large groups and they are welcomed. The food was phenomenal! All that was had was very tasty and ample. Kudos to all! We will be back! Enjoy! :)

Sour cherry "specialty drink" (non alcoholic)
Penny S.

I stopped in here for lunch. I got a lamb (which also contained beef) gyro with spicy garlic sauce and a "specialty" beverage, which was sparkling water with a syrup. I got sour cherry. Both the gyro and drink was tasty. They also have plates with combos that looked good but I didn't want to spend that much for lunch ($18-25.00). My gyro was big enough that I took the last 1/4 home for later. This is a walk up & order at the counter place and there isn't much ambiance. The prices don't fit with the ambiance. I paid $18 for my gyro & drink & tip for lunch. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks that is a little high? For that and the higher priced menu items I would expect a nicer atmosphere, I guess. While I was there several grub hub-type drivers picked up food.

Reviewing the menu, there were lots of yummy things to choose from but ultimately we both could not resist the Lamb shank. I'm sad I didn't take a picture of it. It was so tender and delicious. It came with perfect Basmati rice and a side of eggplant stew that was exquisite! I've never had eggplant stew and it was luscious. I dream to about it all night long. It was quiet, comfortable, music was great; songs we all know but with native instruments and flare. We had house red wine - not a big selection of alcohol, which is fine the food is and should be the star. Our sever (Sorry my old lady brain forgot his name) but the good looking bald guy(LOL) was nice and personable. It was such a great low key dining experience that just made the day even better. I highly recommend this cute place and we will be back- there are a lot more wonderful food to try!

My first impression as we entered here was: the AC was on, and I'm not ready for AC (yet), and the inside was too elegant, and empty. We waited awhile, when a staff appeared. We picked a seat outside, where the weather was pleasant and shady. I needed badly, to use the restroom, so I went back inside, only to be told it's outside. The mural on the walls, obscured the door to the restroom. But, there was no TP, no paper towel, and the trash was full. I had to use a toilet seat cover paper, for my TP, and went back to my seat, not happy with what I just did! I told my husband, who then told the staff, because HE need to use the restroom, too. (We've been gone all morning, this is now lunch hour). The staff gave water, menu and we ordered: The Lamb Shank. I love the eggplant stew! There's also a small salad with the Basmati rice. Also Chicken Kabob Mezza Platter with Pita bread. It was not until we're done eating, and ready to get up, did I notice there was cubed cucumber in the thaziki. But, it's got a very strong vinegar flavor, but I did like the hummus and the ghanoush. (When we eat at these places, we always pick the lamb shanks, btw). I had the other half, for my dinner tonight. The server was friendly, helpful and responsive. The atmosphere, was pleasant, and the photo taken of me, hubby thought I could pass as an Iraqi woman! LOL Thanks for the bag. We picked some crabapples, from down the street, there were 4-5 large trees ready for the pickin' from the sidewalk.

We tried this restaurant last night for my husband's birthday weekend in Portland! Everything we ordered was delicious: falafel appetizer, shawarma chicken rice bowl, and jareesh. Since this was our first visit, they gave us an eggplant appetizer to try and we loved it too!! I topped off our meal with the Queen's tea. Yummy!! Since this was my husband's birthday they sent a piece of cheesecake home with us (we were too full to eat it immediately after dinner.) We ate it later that night and it was delicious. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Our server was so thoughtful and attentive. We will definitely return.

This Saudi-inspired spot is lowkey tucked away, super aesthetic, and connected to their cheesecake side which felt like a bonus plot twist. Service was lovely, chill vibe, very easy date night energy. Tried dishes I've never had before and omyfoodness... a surprising amount of vegan options which we love. And the Saudi coffee? Not here to play. Like Vietnamese coffee strong... borderline life choices strong. I'd absolutely be back.
