So happy to add "I Heart Gyro" to our list of Mediterranean restaurants!…read moreIt's easy to get to, the dining room is medium sized w/booths, it's clean inside & out and the food is delicious! Plus, I love going into places where the employees seem genuinely happy to work there & this place is no different. We were greeted warmly, questions were answered & in spite of ordering at a counter, they didn't forget about us. They brought drinks & silverware to the table, then checked up on us a couple of times during our meal. They have a menu with several choices, the portions were generous enough that we had plenty to bring home for another meal. If you're into "clean eating", this is a great example. The food and sauces aren't OVERLY salted or seasoned, but just right. You can taste the actual flavors of the food, which was so refreshing! I've included pictures of their current menu & the dishes we ordered. We're definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Wow. Just wow. This food cart completely exceeded our expectations…read more I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, and my boyfriend got the beef shawarma pita. What stood out right away was how different they were from each other in the best way possible. Each had its own flavor profile, and both were incredibly well-balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into the seasoning and preparation. We also got the garlic dipping sauce, and while the wraps honestly didn't even need it, it took everything to another level. So rich, so flavorful, and the perfect complement. On top of the food being amazing, the service was just as good. Super friendly, welcoming, quick and happy to help. We'll absolutely be coming back. So excited to have found this spot.

Nice little restaurant, clean and well laid out. I was greeted when I walked in, and found a table to sit at. Waitress brought water and I told her what I wanted. Pretty good sized order too... definitely shareable. Gyro sandwich was good, great flavor. A little less meat on it then I am accustomed to, but they do offer more meat if you want to add some, at an extra cost, of course. Good service, and good food.

It was awfully "lamby", and I didn't love the flavor of the meat. They put a lot in so if you like that then it's a good deal. The weird thing is that the online description of it said it had French fries inside as well! That didn't sound good to me and wasn't authentic so I asked to have the fries on the side, which they did. They even generously added a few more, which was nice. I might go back and try something else next time. It came down to personal taste for me. You might really enjoy what I had if you're a lamb lover! And like I said the portion was generous. The pita was nice too. They also have wraps but I don't want my middle eastern food wrapped in a flour tortilla. But that's just me. I like authentic ethnic food.

I stumbled across this cute, cozy spot in downtown Ridgefield and immediately felt like it was the perfect place for a bite to eat. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bassam, and his kindness and genuine hospitality really stood out. He took the time to explain the menu, what each item was, and even shared some of the history behind the food. That personal touch made the experience even better. Here's what we ordered: Chicken Shawarma -- 10/10 Hummus + extra pita -- 10/10 Baklava -- 10/10 Dolma -- Bassam kindly had us try some. My wife really enjoyed it! I'm a little picky, so it wasn't quite my flavor, but I can absolutely see why it's a favorite for many. Everything was fresh, flavorful, high quality, and reasonably priced, with good-sized portions. The food, service, and atmosphere all impressed us, and we'll definitely be back. It honestly saddens me when small businesses don't get the reviews and support they deserve. A simple review can mean so much, especially heading into the winter months. I'll definitely be stopping in for food to go on my way home! If you haven't stepped outside your comfort zone and tried something new here, I highly encourage you to do so. Life is about trying new things, and this place absolutely does not disappoint. Great food. Kind people. Cozy atmosphere. Small-business love. What more could you ask for?
