Best food in town. Best servers in town. Love, love love! Always busy, but these young ladies hustle. The food is perfectly consistent every time.

This was our first time to visit based on the recent reviews! I was so glad to hear the original owner was back! The food was generous & delicious. The inside was clean, well decorated & welcoming. The owner & employees were so friendly! They personally welcomed everyone who came in & asked "How are YOU today?" like they genuinely meant it. Our waitress, Tina, was so sweet and was very attentive throughout our whole meal. This was such a great experience. We had the Veggie Mazza Platter, Lamb Shish-kabob & the Kofta plate. It was all very good. It wasn't over-seasoned like most franchise places tend to do. Good, clean flavors and cooked just right. It's a bit of a drive for us from Castle Rock, but we make frequent trips to Portland & Vancouver so this will be a welcome addition to our "places to eat" list! I've tried baklava many times over the years & just couldn't understand the excitement over it, until now. Their's was amazing! The phyllo dough was crispy & it wasn't swimming in oil. It was perfect! I've added a picture of the business because even though we mapped it we had to drive around the pking lot a bit before we spotted it. It doesn't really have drive-by appeal but it was the great reviews that made us take the gamble. So glad we did!

I am Greek & Armenian & originally from the east coast. I grew up, arguably, having some of the best Greek/Middle Eastern food at my fingertips and in my mouth! Not only at home with Mom, Yiayia and Thia's, but, from multiple restaurants and food carts. You just can't beat New York's ethnic food scene. That is why, in my 36 years of living in the PNW, I was slightly nervous about eating a gyros at the Pita House. Even with the high ratings, I have found most of my experiences in WA state with Greek food has been a sad disappointment. I didn't want that to happen again. It didn't. The restaurant kind of reminded me of the SNL skit with John Belushi and Dan Akroyd, "Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger!" (If you know, you know! For you youngsters, find it on YouTube for a good laugh.) Dive vibes, but clean, with the anticipation of some new, wondrous gastronomical experience just waiting to happen! I felt right at home! The waitress was a delightful young lady. We ordered two lamb gyro with garlic fries. (Pony up for the extra meat add on. It was worth it!) The gyro meat was tender and beautifully spiced and the garlic fries were sublime. Crispy, crunchy and garlicky! The tzatziki was decent. I could have used a bit more garlic in mine, but it complemented the sandwich just fine. The waiter working along with the waitress was a very friendly fellow, too, and I suspect the owner. We shared with him that it was our anniversary and he brought over two pieces of delicious baklava at the end of our meal. Flakey, buttery phyllo: one with walnuts, one with pistachios. Both divinely delicious! We also ordered two nut rolls to go, and those were also incredibly yummy! Two thumbs up for the Pita House, their staff and the food. Don't overlook this hidden gem in Battle Ground! You will leave satisfied.

Pita House has a lot going for it! The staff is so attentive, the owner is right there on top of things making sure everything is going smoothly. They refill your drinks before you even finish them! Amazing! They also give you tons of food! The portions are more than generous. They give you lots of pita and the sides that come with your main dish are good. That being said, it is noisy (the restaurant was full on a Friday night and lots of people mean lots of talking and enjoying themselves. So I can hardly fault that!). My husband and our friend had good Shwarmas (lamb & chicken), one with their delicious garlic fries, and our other friend liked her lemon garlic chicken. We also had a vegetarian mezza plate that includes both baba ganoush and hummus. Olives would've been nice too, but there was a lot on the plate, including cabbage and cucumber salads. My Shish Kabab had good flavor, but the chicken was dry. Some kind of sauce would have helped the dryness. I also didn't get the onion & bell pepper that was supposed to be on the skewer with it, according to the menu. I would have said something but we were busy talking to our friends and I forgot till later. That's is the only thing I think could be improved upon at Pita House. We will be back for sure.

Turkish coffee and pistachio baklava were AMAZING!!!!

First time ever going here, and let me tell you - From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we walked out smiling, it was nothing short from a phenomenal experience. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, the Turkish coffee was sooooo good (also a first for us) and the pistachio baklava was absolutely AMAZING. The best part of the experience though was the service!! Probably the BEST table service I've ever had in my life, no joke... and being 47 years old I've been around the block a few times. We'll definitely be coming back, and I'll definitely be recommending to everyone I know!! Thank you Pita House for the amazing experience!!

Great customer service. This was our first time in but we were greeted and treated like we've been coming for years. Owners greeted a lot of guests by first name which is impressive. Food was great. My younger son had the lamb kabob and he enjoyed it. I had a filling gyro with creamy tzatziki sauce.

Lovely customer service and absolutely amazing food. The guy's social cues were impressive, and the service was very friendly. A true masterclass in hospitality.

    Forgot name of dessert.

This place has become my absolute favorite place not only because of the food is amazing, but because the owner knows how to treat his guest and customers. I've honestly never felt more welcomed and appreciated as a customer anywhere else in my entire life . To the point where it is almost comical, but this man just has such a nice light about him and the food smacks this place is my first ever 100 out of 10 10/10 across the board. I love the photos of Jerusalem inside. Let's get to the food. First of all I had dessert first.. the baklava(s) were all AMAZING. So reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. 10/10 -- Add a side of the gyro meat, which is flavored wonderfully . Not over seasoned whatsoever, but packing needed punch of extra flavor and savory taste. My Kofta. Sandwich ... chefs kiss. The tzatziki sauce is good, a little bit runny but still very fresh so that's what matters. I like the natural fries that they have. Not your typical fries . In conclusion.. Stop in here. Give them a try. Especially if you like Backlava

We've always talked about trying it, so it felt like the perfect birthday plan. The owner, Dennis, was incredibly kind--so genuine, grateful, and full of faith. I ordered the chicken Gyro and asked for cucumbers. Unfortunately, the chicken was not very tasty. I was hoping for charbroiled chunks of chicken breast, like "I Heart Gyro" does. Instead it was thin strips of seasoned chicken that were probably thawed out from the freezer. The Tzatziki sauce was very good though! Because I asked for extra sauce, it made the Iceberg lettuce soggy, as well as the thin slices of onions. By the time I picked off all the soggy pieces of Iceberg lettuce and thin slices of onions, I was left with just two slices of tomatoes and two slices of cucumber! Definitely not worth paying the extra dollar for two slices of cucumber! I paid almost $15 for this Gyro that lacked crisp veggies and they were stingy with the Feta cheese! Only a few crumbles. I feel very disappointed, because I read wonderful reviews about this place. Too bad, so sad! P.S.: If you want a delicious Chicken Gyro with marinated and grilled chunks of chicken breast, "I Heart Gyro" can't be beat!

It was only a couple of miles away. We find what appears to be a food truck and behind it a tiny storefront mostly hidden by the truck and an empty store next to it. There are a few parking spaces. Most people might turn and drive away, but having traveled the world and growing up near NYC, I know not to ever judge a restaurant by its unfortunate location. We ordered two of the Gyros. They serve a nice tea for free. The owner's name is Edmund. He was very friendly and he gave us some samples of his Chicken Shawarma and Falafel so we could try them. All the food was fresh, carefully prepared, and was delicious. You can see he takes his business and his families traditional foods very seriously. So if you want a break from pizza, burgers, cold cuts, and greasy American Chinese food, go experience Edmond's Humas Humas. Don't forget to tell him a guy on Google sent you.

The restaurant is small and is located in a strip mall, so it apparently does lots of take out orders. We always dine in but our orders are always served in take out containers, but each table in the dining room had vases of fresh roses. We are just happy we discovered this restaurant and this wonderful food. Highly recommend if you like Middle Eastern fare.
