7 months ago, we came and ate close to the opening week. At that time, they had a huge problem with staff, but we had a great experience anyway. They told us to come back again, and they would be better. So we did, and they were. All the food I had here before was delicious, and it was even better now. The Isekander plate was incredible. The whole Sea Bream was amazing. The veggie Pide was delicious. And the service was wonderful. Our server was very patient with our very large order, and even though they were quite busy, they got our food out in great time and very fresh. I cannot speak high enough about this place. What a wonderful experience with absolutely fantastic food. I also bought some baklava and it's among the best I've ever had. The owner even made us some Turkish coffee which was strong as hell and lovely. I also love the decoration and vibe of the place. If you're looking for food that is perhaps a bit different from your normal fare but supremely delicious, go here and enjoy. read more

Excited to try because I heard such great things, I personally would not return. -parking is nonexistent and you can tell the businesses are fighting to probably put signs on spots soon because I had to park and walk. (Which is fine but I mean not for my grandma and smaller kids) Total bill $70 for one person because I wanting to try a few things. -kibbet are my favorite. These were dry and maybe the oil is too used? Def no comes with 3 and sauce. Flavorless -lavash bread the best thing for $6.50 Got a nice paper bag to fold my remaining Turkish tortilla to take to go. Very tasty though -hummus: $11. Very fresh, you could taste it was made in house. I'm not big on salt but for me to say it needed a little flavor that means something. I would just say it tasted very fresh. All the kebab plates are about $25 I go the beef kebab. Came with (all needed some sort of flavor and seasoning) a tiny scoop of fresh mash potato Rice pilaf And I would say a Turkish pico de gallo (I added lemon and salt and it was tasty) Meat was no juicy, over cooked ( but I was literally starving) Took some baklava to go $9 for 4 piece. We've had this place on our radar and finically made it in today! We decided to go all in and try as many things as possible. Next time we will try that pide but this time we focused on apps and trying alll the kabobs. Everything was delicious. Went to dinner here this evening. We had neglected to get a reservation. When we walked in at 5 they said they were full unless we could finish by 6:20. We appreciated that they worked hard to get us in and out efficiently. This is a small place and with how busy it is I think they need more room! The food was good! I had the lamb stuffed eggplant and my husband had the grilled meatballs. Our companions had the chicken pide . We ordered lavash and hummus for the table. We all enjoyed the food, although my husband thought the grilled meatballs were under seasoned. It was a nice meal. read more

Easily the best Turkish food in town. I tried their pides, Adana kebap so far, all amazing. Can't wait to go again and try other stuff. I still gotta try that Turkish coffee that they make in hot sand, looks pretty cool Staff was super friendly, great place for family. Tried them for the first time on a Saturday for take-out, ordering ahead via their website. We picked up our order around 12:45p on a Saturday and they were already full with customers, which is a great sign! The young man at the host counter when we arrived was very nice, and our order was ready when we arrived. Everything was well-packaged, too. We ordered a variety of cold dips as appetizers along with lavash (a HUGE "hollow" bread), dolmas (stuffed grape leaves), and 3 entrees: lamb-stuffed eggplant (comes with rice), lamb kebab, and chicken wings kebab (kebab meals come with rice & mashed potatoes & shepherd salad). Everything was so delicious! The meats were flavorful & tender, and their rice was cooked perfectly. The portions for the entrees were generous and our little group enjoyed leftovers the next day. We'd love to try more of their delicious looking menu, and hope to dine-in in the future. Since we've only had them once as a to-go order, I'll stick with 4-Stars for now. read more

Came Sunday night around 6pm. From the moment I stepped out of the car I could smell the delicious food in the air. The restaurant was packed and we were told it would be about an hour to an hour and a half wait. We waited in the car and let me tell you it was definitely worth the wait. The servers are very nice and the food came out quickly. Started off with the Turkish tea which came in these super cute glasses. We had wanted to order hummus and lavash bread but they had ran out. We ended up getting the soujouk pide which was amazing! The meat was so flavorful and a little spicy. We also ordered the Adana shish kebab which was so tender and seasoned perfectly! The doner kebab plate had enough meat for two people. Ended the night with a slice of Dubai cake that was not too sweet and very tasty. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Went in for an early Valentine's, they fit us in even though we didn't have reservations. The space is very nice, the employees are very welcoming, happy to have you there. Once we were seated we were a bit overwhelmed with the menu as we are not familiar with Turkish dishes. But descriptions were great, and the staff was happy to explain anything we had questions on. We order several things off the menu, started with stuffed grape leaves, and a side of their tomato/onion dish. Sooo delicious! My husband ordered the lamb kabobs and I ordered the diced lamb pies. Presentation was great and this food was so delicious. The lamb kabobs were cooked perfect and the portion size was huge. Very large cuts of lamb, we took most of this home. My pide was just as delicious, again couldn't eat it all! This dessert case is beautiful. I had to have a slice of the strawberry cake, not too sweet so it was a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Vancouver. I have a feeling they are going to outgrow this small space very quickly. read more

The parking lot is dark and the tinted glass of the restaurant is very dark so we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the doors to a bright and tastefully designed interior! The restaurant filled quickly for dinner and our server was thoughtfully attentive throughout the meal. Delightfully the surprises didn't stop there, every bite starting with our mixed appetizer platter and lavash bread thru coffee and desserts was absolutely delicious. We shared dishes family style to sample the grilled mixed kebab plate, pide, mashed potatoes and rice. Dissapointed! Took my friend for her Birthday at lunch based on excellent reviews and our love of international food. She had a chicken shish kebob and I had the Adana kebob. Zero flavor - with the exception of onions. So sad! read more
