Went to dinner here this evening. We had neglected to get a reservation. When we walked in at 5 they said they were full unless we could finish by 6:20. We appreciated that they worked hard to get us in and out efficiently. This is a small place and with how busy it is I think they need more room! The food was good! I had the lamb stuffed eggplant and my husband had the grilled meatballs. Our companions had the chicken pide . We ordered lavash and hummus for the table. We all enjoyed the food, although my husband thought the grilled meatballs were under seasoned. It was a nice meal.

Came Sunday night around 6pm. From the moment I stepped out of the car I could smell the delicious food in the air. The restaurant was packed and we were told it would be about an hour to an hour and a half wait. We waited in the car and let me tell you it was definitely worth the wait. The servers are very nice and the food came out quickly. Started off with the Turkish tea which came in these super cute glasses. We had wanted to order hummus and lavash bread but they had ran out. We ended up getting the soujouk pide which was amazing! The meat was so flavorful and a little spicy. We also ordered the Adana shish kebab which was so tender and seasoned perfectly! The doner kebab plate had enough meat for two people. Ended the night with a slice of Dubai cake that was not too sweet and very tasty. Will definitely be coming back!

Went in for an early Valentine's, they fit us in even though we didn't have reservations. The space is very nice, the employees are very welcoming, happy to have you there. Once we were seated we were a bit overwhelmed with the menu as we are not familiar with Turkish dishes. But descriptions were great, and the staff was happy to explain anything we had questions on. We order several things off the menu, started with stuffed grape leaves, and a side of their tomato/onion dish. Sooo delicious! My husband ordered the lamb kabobs and I ordered the diced lamb pies. Presentation was great and this food was so delicious. The lamb kabobs were cooked perfect and the portion size was huge. Very large cuts of lamb, we took most of this home. My pide was just as delicious, again couldn't eat it all! This dessert case is beautiful. I had to have a slice of the strawberry cake, not too sweet so it was a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Vancouver. I have a feeling they are going to outgrow this small space very quickly.

We love the food! Delicious, plentiful to share. We did not know what to expect and were pleasantly delighted! We have gone back twice now and will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Do get reservations!

We came in with a reservation at 5:10pm, and it took some time to get started. We learned that they had a sudden crisis of staff leaving, and many of them were on their first days. We prepared ourselves for a bad time. However that was not the case. Instead we received friendly and attentive service by the limited servers they had, and were treated to some excellent food. While they were unable to prepare some specific dishes, we had some classics and they were all fantastic. I want to specifically highlight that the food taste, quality and timing was very good, especially for being short staffed and with a kitchen staff having just started. The Turkish coffee was wonderful, the lavash bread was fresh and delicious. The appetizers were great and our kebabs were excellent. What could have been a very mediocre night was instead lovely and delicious. I cannot wait to come back, and try the other dishes.

Excellent food, service. Reservations are helpful especially if there's a large private party going on.

There's a (fairly) new food pod area in North Plains, and it starts with this Turkish Cuisine. This pod, in particular, is one of four original pods. I briefly spoke to the owner, and he mentioned to me that he has eight separate locations all around Portland. All similar in look to this one. And I know I've seen them. MY ORDER: ~ (#24) Tri-meat over basmati rice, $15. This plate came with sides of hummus and cucumber taziki. It had gyro slices, lamb and chicken shawarma, and was simply tasty together in that warm pita bread. ~ (#29) Falafels over basmati rice $15. Another full plate of tastiness as well! The falafels were a good size and filling. ~ (#42) Dolmas, $8. Now, I'm not sure how many pieces are supposed to come with this, but we had at least six. I loved the texture, but it was super lemony. Overall, this little pod has plenty to choose from. They definitely have a "bar food" type of menu, but also have salad options. Average to above average in price, I'd say. And depending on what you choose, I feel you'll be satisfied with portions. I dig this place and will be back.

We ordered the lamb gyro and beef shawarma plate, both with hot sauce and garlic sauce. My son and I both loved our dishes! The pita on the gyro was fresh and fluffy with a slight crisp on the edges. The lamb meat very tender, veggies nicely cut and fresh, and the sauces were flavorful with a slight taste of dill. My son loved the beef shawarma plate and asked if we could eat here more often. Both came with fries, and while not cheap at $28 for both, they definitely filled us up. Glad there is another food option in town and we will be back!
