Mixed meat over rice (chicken and gyro meat)
Camille H.

Delicious food and good customer service. Great addition to this food cart station. Outdoor and indoor seating available to enjoy the food. The meat over rice is what I got and it was yummy! I got the mixed meat, gyro and chicken. The sauces were phenomenal that went with. I look forward to trying more food here.

Loaded Veggie Fries

The food was amazing! Fadah made a custom veggie loaded fries and I'll be dreaming of them! She's so kind and helpful.

Thank you finally a place in the Washington side that has delicious Shawarma and more that also carries kanafa sweet deliciousness. I'm so glad I found this gem in the area close to Cosco. I will be coming here more often. Service was amazing. She was super sweet and helpful and asking additional questions if I needed utensils or to go bag. The small details go along way. Great location with a bunch of other carts. nice addition to the camas location. Great spot to bring your family or your pets since it's outdoors super cool spot.

Extremely nice people, seriously good food. Portions are large and shareable. I love that they're open late. Don't skip on the cardamom tea!

Without a doubt....THE BEST FOOD CART POD! End of story!!!! Clean, capable and ready for whatever…read moremay come. I can only hope the younger folks from across the street (high school) don't ruin the place. So far it all seems to be going well. My wife had Korean Fried Chicken and I had the BBQ.....EXCELLENT ALL AROUND! The standout was the brisket burger I had....HUGE chunks of well seasoned and expertly cooked brisket, not "greasy" at all (which is the downfall to a lot of places that serve brisket). The Taphouse brewery inside is Top Shelf!!!! My new hang......thank you Oak Tree Station!!! P.S. I'm updating this review at 7pm....i had lunch at 12:30.....I'M STILL FULL!!!!!!!

I can't find the new Middle Eastern Grill cart at Oak Tree Station on Yelp. But I have to write a…read morereview. Everything was great except for one thing. I ordered the grilled chicken thighs that came with what they called curry rice, tziki, hummus and pita. The chicken was boneless and tender and nicely seasoned. The tziki and hummus were great! The tziki provided a nice contrast with the spicy chicken. The hummus was nice with the soft pita. The thing that left me scratching my head was the vegetables they added to the rice. Yikes! It was frozen Chinese vegetables out of a bag warmed up over the rice. Complete with the mini corn cobs, pea pods and water chestnuts. The corn had a really off, weird taste. Ick. The rest of the veggies were limp and were not at all middle eastern. So PLEASE, if you're paying attention , Middle Eastern Grill, ditch those gross vegetables! Water chestnuts and baby corn are NOT Middle Eastern! If you want to improve your quality, add freshly sautéed onions and bell peppers. That would be sooooo much better. Or even a little salad and the seasoned rice. I tried the Dubai chocolate cake and it was pretty good. I probably won't get it again but it was nice. The guy said they get it from a food service so they don't make it themselves. So for those of you considering Middle Eastern Grill, do it. Maybe ask if they can leave off the Chinese vegetables. I don't think every dish comes with them.

i had the most amazing experience here! the place is fully decorated in jordanian style interior…read more it's very interesting to see how they mix different colors and textures while still maintaining a balanced look. the place feels very homey and comforting. when we first walked in they let us pick between tradition seating and regular seating. i opted for traditional seating since i wanted to get the full experience. while deciding on what to order, i asked the staff what he recommended, and he became very excited. he was so happy to share his culture and explain the dishes to us. we shared the maqluba because it is a dish i have been interested in trying for a very long time. he did a handwash for us before the food came out. he also gave us some complimentary hot tea and even refilled it without us asking for it. his service was truly above and beyond. the maqluba was so delicious. the meat was super tender and fell apart so easily. the flavors were so deep and rich, i can tell they put a lot of care into the process of cooking. the sauce was slightly spicy which only added to the diversity of flavors. i can't put into words how good it was. we also got katayef for dessert, which had a crispy crust and came with vanilla ice cream. that was unlike anything i've had before. the contrast between the warmth of the pastry and the vanilla ice cream made such a good combination. our server even mentioned that he makes the dough himself! our server truly made this experience very special and heartwarming. i'm so happy he was able to share a part of his story with us.

We were at the Mall and wanted something different. I went to google Maps and typed in "food near…read moreme," to get every possible option. At the edge of the screen I saw "Mediterranean." It was only a couple of miles away. We find what appears to be a food truck and behind it a tiny storefront mostly hidden by the truck and an empty store next to it. There are a few parking spaces. Most people might turn and drive away, but having traveled the world and growing up near NYC, I know not to ever judge a restaurant by its unfortunate location. We ordered two of the Gyros. They serve a nice tea for free. The owner's name is Edmund. He was very friendly and he gave us some samples of his Chicken Shawarma and Falafel so we could try them. All the food was fresh, carefully prepared, and was delicious. You can see he takes his business and his families traditional foods very seriously. So if you want a break from pizza, burgers, cold cuts, and greasy American Chinese food, go experience Edmond's Humas Humas. Don't forget to tell him a guy on Google sent you.

On our last visit there earlier this week, we had gyros, falafel, and salad. The gyros they serve are the best we have ever eaten as well as their falafel. The sauces are all topnotch and delicious also. Their food is authentic Middle Eastern and it is the best we have had in Vancouver. The restaurant is small and is located in a strip mall, so it apparently does lots of take out orders. We always dine in but our orders are always served in take out containers, but each table in the dining room had vases of fresh roses. We are just happy we discovered this restaurant and this wonderful food. Highly recommend if you like Middle Eastern fare.

So happy to add "I Heart Gyro" to our list of Mediterranean restaurants!…read moreIt's easy to get to, the dining room is medium sized w/booths, it's clean inside & out and the food is delicious! Plus, I love going into places where the employees seem genuinely happy to work there & this place is no different. We were greeted warmly, questions were answered & in spite of ordering at a counter, they didn't forget about us. They brought drinks & silverware to the table, then checked up on us a couple of times during our meal. They have a menu with several choices, the portions were generous enough that we had plenty to bring home for another meal. If you're into "clean eating", this is a great example. The food and sauces aren't OVERLY salted or seasoned, but just right. You can taste the actual flavors of the food, which was so refreshing! I've included pictures of their current menu & the dishes we ordered. We're definitely looking forward to visiting again!

This time it was just chicken strips and I felt that they barely grilled them. There wasn't much charred taste to them. I tried the plain garlic sauce this time. it was OK, but I really liked the spicy garlic sauce that I got in my the first Gyro better. It was more flavorful.. I also got a small order of their fries. Must say the fries were pretty good. However, at over $17 ane charge ,before tip, I don't feel it's worth that much. I noticed us when you look at the photos from the reviews some of the chicken chunks look more grilled and charred than other times.. I guess it depends on who works there. Too bad they're pretty inconsistent. That's exactly why I will not be coming back.
