I ordered mayo, deli mustard, and Italian dressing on mine, but could only taste loads of mayo, to the point it was discusting. Wife ordered the turkey with Italian dressing and cucumbers, but didnt get either . Lettuce, tomato, banana peppers did not taste fresh as well. I realize that whoever made the sandwiches might need additional trying as well, but maybe management needs to supervise the quality of the sandwiches they are making ? We both could only eat 1/4 of our sandwiches. From now on, will stick to those great sandwiches from Big Town Hero.

One giant pancake, and the two separate "ears" of the bear which were basically full-sized pancakes themselves. The server was kind enough to add whipped cream and a few sprinkles to the plate and this came with bacon or sausage, he chose bacon, which were big thick slices, just like mine.) Now, to the negative part. This place has seen better days. The carpeting was very filthy, I mean black in color and under the tables is the only place you could see the original pattern. The seats of some of the booths and the chairs were torn, with no distinguishable repair even attempted. What was once a pie case, was filled with handbags and wallets that they must be trying to sell from there. Really great opportunity to fix this place up with primarily a lot of elbow grease, but on this particular Saturday morning, I have to say, they had a lot of customers. I was a loyal customer at the location on the corner of L St. & 17th St., and I honestly haven't had Potbelly since I left DC back in 2017. A Big Wreck on multigrain with everything on it and extra hot peppers. One bite and it brought back so many memories. The bread still has that nice chewy texture, the meats are warm and satisfying, and the extra hot peppers with the pickled carrots add that crunchy, tangy kick that I always loved. It's messy in the best way and every bite has a little bit of everything. Airport food is usually something you settle for, but this was the meal I was actually hoping to find.
