    (2) Americano

I've been here a couple times and it was great. Today I ordered delivery from here and the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Americano panini and the h out pastrami sub- as is. What I received did not resemble the photos at all. And both sandwiches were cold, with almost no fillings inside.

We've ordered delivery twice in one weekend, it was that good. Ingredients were super fresh and overall it's just a solid sandwich.

Wasn't the worse, but was no way close to an Italian sub. There was zero seasoning and overall just bland.

At any rate, Jersey Mikes has nothing to fear from losing customers to Big Town Hero, but I wish they would offer paninis as well.

I was surprised to find them not too busy at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, but noted over the hour I was there, more and more people came in. I had trouble deciding and asked our server Aida, for some recommendations. I ended up ordering a vegetable omelet, with Home Style home fries and pancakes. This was an enormous meal, easy to share with one or two others. The omelet is made with 4 eggs and prepared thin-style (skinny omelet) and included sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and spinach. Cheddar is the standard but they will substitute cheeses. The home style home fries were beautifully fried and had onions and bell peppers with cheese melted on top (+$3 up-charge). The two pancakes I upgraded toast from (+2) were really good. This meal will be at least 3 meals for me. My grandson really wanted a waffle and unfortunately they don't offer waffles on the kids menu. He loved his waffle and I've got to say it looked amazing! The kids menu is well-priced, including the beverages with kids milk offered for just $1.99. Coffee came in a lovely tall coffee mug and it was pretty good. AIDA did a great job of checking in with us on reasonable intervals and was very sweet. Very clean, comfortable and modern facility.

However, I can't see going here when my turkey sausage and over medium eggs were flavorless and cost $16. My BF poured maple syrup on everything to get it to have flavor: on his scrambled eggs and the sausage patties in addition to his French toast. If you look at my earlier pics, the toast has gotten thinner and overall the food just looked... tired. The waitress was equally tired. It took her 5 - 10 minutes to come take our order. One of the hostesses had to come reassure us that she was on her way. When she did, she was utterly cheerless and seemed really bummed out to be there. Looks like we'll have to find another breakfast spot.

My hubby had the chicken fried steak with perfect gravy. The staff works in a collaborative effort to make sure that everyone has their drinks refilled promptly and their order is delivered. As soon as they are completed in the kitchen it is a mastery symphony of service to observe . the entire building is layered with so much vintage art from the 1950s era. There's always something amazing to look at and even though I've been here many times every seat has a different view. It's really a fun place to be easy access off 164th St. Vancouver Washington. If you haven't been here yet, what on earth are you waiting for? Make it a stop for dinner breakfast or lunch everything there is yummy today was St. Patrick's Day so of course they had traditional corn, beef and cabbage. Dinner. Option for 12 bucks. I'm not going to put myself through this anymore please clean the f****** floor! Seriously how hard is it to get some Ajax or bleach on there and hire someone to clean it it's so gross!!! Also when you sit in the booth they are odd wits and it's not really enough room to comfortably sit down. As for the food it's pretty mediocre probably the same stuff off of the Sysco truck that everyone else is serving. It looks like a originally someone put a lot of effort into making this place special but apparently lately they have just given up.

The portions are ginormous, so if you're not a big eater, there's more than enough to share a meal. My daughter and I shared the Shasta Scramble and even between the two of us only ate about 2/3 of it. It was very good and we had the thick cut hashbrowns as our side which we both enjoyed. The biscuit came with this is what we called a "cat's head" biscuit in the south...very big, and even better with butter and honey. Waitstaff on top of everything and kept our coffee filled with deliciousness. This place is adorably, decorated with little bears all over and camping themes. Hoping to go back for lunch or dinner sometime soon. Sure do wish they had a location on the west side of town; it's quite a trek for me.

It's been years since eating at a Black Bear franchise- last one was in Arizona. Feels like it's tired and it needs refreshing- the atmosphere and the menu. Our food came out much too quickly- Meaning it's all pre- prepared and sitting in warming dishes like a buffet. And, it was buffet quality- bland and lackluster in flavor. The biscuit portion is just too much and it dwarfed the eggs and poor quality bacon. Last time here.
