What I got was a literal platter of chopped romaine lettuce -- enough for 3 people -- barely dressed, with a few stale croutons and a little smattering of Parmesan. Slapped askew on top of the mountain of dry lettuce was a too-large-for-one-person serving of salmon which was well seasoned but dry and overcooked. My bill for the salad and a glass of water was THIRTY-EIGHT DOLLARS. I didn't think to grab a photo of the salad before I started eating, though wish I would have. As a comparison. I'm adding a photo of a salmon Caesar perfected by Oswego Grill on the waterfront in Vancouver. Price for that delicious and eye-appealing salad is $21.00, with a much lovelier atmosphere to enjoy to boot. I get that costs have gone up on everything... and I'm willing to pay $38 + tip for a meal that is deserving of that. But just the base cost of $19 for a platter of chopped lettuce is insulting.
